    I passed my test here in Ireland🇮🇪(Mullingar) on 4th time, but hey people do not forget.Yes it's great when you pass your test from the very 1st time, and save all extra money,time, etc..Don't get me wrong, but it's even better on other hand when u pass from 2,3rd..coz you gonna LEARN and fix these mistakes.
    After passing the test, don't try to be boss and thinking you owning the road and showing your friends you finally have licence, be smart, be good driver.
    Never give up if or after/ you fail.
    NEVER STOP LEARNING !

      This is such a beautiful comment! You should absolutely never stop learning, you will always meet new situations and have to keep expanding on your skill.
      Did you still feel quite new on the road after passing?

      @@virtualdrivinginstructor Thank you for your lovely words☺️.Exactly, even though we all might drive the same road xxxx times a day, week, as you mention, there will be always some odd situation that can appear from nowhere.
      Yes indeed i did.After passing my test i still did not feel confident in myself as much as i was really happy to have my 1st driving licence. Wasn't suprised with myself as i was NEW driver on the road and i knew(as beginner) how to drive but still i was bit careful.I learned as much as I drive on the road, i gonna be better and better, and that's the truth.I can say ,I am more confident(now it's over a year since i passed and it took me 2 months at least-after passing) and i still drive by rules.I mean, within speed limits.I know a very few people after passing the test, they think they owning the road and they drive like they want, blabla..but i wanna be safe driver as much as possible.
      1 more year and N-plate is gone🥳.

    Great video, quick question when overtaking parked cars , if we see there is gap car can pass but not 1 meter gap and there is oncoming vechile as well like in video . Do we stop and let them pass first or move slowly , suppose we have seen the car before starting overtake. The gap is similar what we have in video where oncming car is there and you suggested to slow.

    • @virtualdrivinginstructor
      @virtualdrivinginstructor  9 дней назад +1

      Great question! So there are a couple of reactions based on the level of the hazard ahead...
      The general rule to follow is if you must cross the line / middle of the road... we wait!
      But... if the hazard is only taking up a bit of your lane, and you can get past without crossing the line, passing the car at a reduced speed is fine, even if your a bit close.
      Always favour giving distance, but if you can't keep your distance, you can't keep your speed ☺️ hope this helps!

    I feel like you're doing great but I felt nervous just watching him, I know its not your job to console the driver but I feel like if I was a learner again I'd appreciate someone who wasnt AS direct as you are, but hey maybe I got lucky with my examiner being really re-assuring and I enjoy watching these videos still

    • @virtualdrivinginstructor
      @virtualdrivinginstructor  9 дней назад

      In a mock exam like this, you have to let the learner do their thing! This guy had his exam the next day, so we have to get to the point.
      In my experience, people appreciate direct, but in my lessons, I am always reassuring, my job is mainly reassuring the learner they're fine and when they make a mistake it's an opportunity to learn.
      Learners stress more learning to drive than anyone can imagine, and I feel for them cause we where all there once before, on lessons we take it easy on ourselves when we make mistakes, we don't let others frustration get to us, we can enjoy learning in the right environment and it's my job to try create that environment 🙏
      Love how you still enjoy the videos after passing 😁 we can always learn something new even after passing 🙏
