Brilliant insights into Boldwoods character by Sheen
Love Michael Sheen! He did a duet in this movie.
It was one of the most beatiful duet which I have ever heard. I was so fascinated by his voice
Very interesting insights!
Boldwood deserved better. 😞
0:20 - Short Term 12 :)
Two Days One Night as well.
Not a film, but the tv show The Bold Type is an example as well!
i saw the film although is well crafted... it seemed to me the beginning where Gabrial askked her to marry him aout of the blue... i meant they did not spend that much time together before and for him to propose to her like that simply made a foolish impression of the film... it's simple not possible, it would have been improbable that such act in real life would have happened. i know it's a fictional story but common... tha moment to me was tu vague. but i kept watching the movie and it was real good actualy and i fully understood her decisions.
I understand what you mean, but I think that at those times it was more common than now
the whole point of the story is to offer the 21st century viewer a glimpse into the society of the 19th century, where marriage was merely a contract signed with the purpose of sharing and developing assets.
