@@shrekalekalakes1769 actually its because of how they are as people inherently. drugs dont make you a better or more creative person, but they can help bring that out of youor enhance it or influence it in ways. Most people would die or go crazy trying to live Ween's lifestyle especially if you wanna emulate Gener in his last days before having to go cold turkey
Haha my point exactly, theres such a creative force in everyone I feel that just never sees the light of day. Its a shame really, most people end up doing something they’re not really meant to do.
@notbydesign Every time I see Ween, I go though a period of post-show mourning. Then I contemplate quitting my great job and following the band. Then I realize I could do that in my 20s, but not my mid-30s. Then I'm sad. Then I listen to months and months of Ween, and it makes it OK. And now I'm freaking out.
Get me a sweater, it's cold said the lady to the dwarf fetch me some freedom soon, or i'll be gone left on a train for a place not far from here dwarf-man said 'thy work, shall be done' And now i'm freaking out (x4) champagne, apricot, amber and rose squeezing my mind when i feel the time tree turned green after first freeze and it looked like it was frozen frozen And now i'm freaking out (x4) why can't this song go on and on and on and on and on if Bob, here says it was okay okay put on your shoes and smile when you can cause it looks like you were chosen chosen And now i'm freaking out (x4) [noise solo starts] And now i'm freaking out (x4) lyrics from songmeanings
Love it, I was freaking out last night, this song embodies the strangeness of it. It was cool, it was maddening, a bit manic, kinda addicting. I had to face the unknown, I think it was my soul's wish but anyways. Embrace the weird, I do sometimes it's a nice change.
I remember only being able to listen to this song when it was on a CD single back in the 90s. Now I turn on my computer and you get it instantly. And glad for new followers! I was one of the first!
I discovered this song a few years ago when I was in the middle of a crazy work project that had me up at 4 in the morning trying to hit a crazy deadline and I was about to puke from drinking so much coffee. Surreal

ween is a musical anomaly. how is it possible that even their b-side songs are better than most musicians best work
the browner the better
Think about how many songs they probably are like meh...about.
Its because of all the drugs they did

This was written 11 years ago. 😖🥳😖
Time hey?
I'm turning 50 this year. I'm ready to quit the job and follow the boys full time. And the beach in-between hot springs and sail boats.

Good call.
I will never be able to drive the same
This is the vibe that hits when the mushrooms are way stronger than expected. Bob Weir says its ok.
How did you nail this so hard

It's actually the b-side to Freedom of '76.
It's on both. Good to know if you ever need to hunt down a copy. Especially since it's such a great tune.

Sounds better live.

Did the CD have a skip near the end, it sounds off

@AScoppa < I am a fan of David Bowie, this band is 300 times better then him!
