This song sounds like dancing in an empty parking lot in the middle of the night with someone you’ve admired for a long time. The two of you are just swaying back and forth. You’re just holding onto them as they hold onto you, and all is right in the world.
i imagine a music video of this where dean and gene are playing this in the blistering sun and they slowly start melting at the 3:53 mark and when the song is almost finished all that's left is Dean's hands trying to finish the song until he finally melts and all that's left is their clothes and guitar
I'm in the same boat. I saw this live back in December 2019. Had no idea they were playing it, partly because I was loaded but also because I had not heard the song before, so I didn't know what I was hearing. I do remember hearing some tracks I wasn't familiar with and absolutely loving them, I'm sure this was one of them
this reminds me of the feeling you get when you've heard a song, faintly, in the background somewhere and you couldn't exactly make out the words. It sounds like a promise, and you want it to be kept. It's alluring. A siren, singing in fog. A new shiny, a new thing. It's stirred something in you. You want to know more. You want it. You search for it for a few days, listening to every radio station on the dial. you obsess over it. it burns a hole into your mind. you hear that one riff over and over in your head, when you are awake, going to sleep, while you're trying to work, in the shower. You ask your friends about it, you hum the tune, but they have no idea what you're talking about. Eventually, the obsession dies out. You give up. You forget about it, and move on. You listen to other things. It doesn't really matter anymore, like a dream that was so real but upon waking it begins to fade away. You know you had it, but too much is missing. It's useless to try to remember. Then, WHAM! out of nowhere, there it is in all of its glory. You know the band! You know the song! You find a copy and play it over and over again, reveling in the awesomeness.. It's THE song, the only song. But now you've played it too much. It slowly loses its significance. You play it a few times more, hoping to hang on to the dream. Its hold on you slips. But it no longer has meaning. It's grown cold. You're having an emotional hangover. You don't even want to hear it anymore. It's a useless burned out husk. You've killed it. You killed the music. You bastard.

Jug is Quaid and Mrs. Slack are gone from existence, it seems. Unless someone were to magically link me to either or both of them. Then that would make my whole existence, or at the very least, day.
Yep. 7 years later and nothing however if there is I would also much like a notification, though if Mrs. Slack or Jug is Quaid was found I'm sure I'd know.
I can hear that a bit. Ween and Type O may not be sonically similar but they are creatively cut from the same cloth. Extremely eclectic, adventurous and always slightly tongue in cheek.

This song is good and all but whenever I try to sleep, this would start playing in my head and creep me out
This has been stuck in my head every day for 2 weeks. At work and trying to sleep.
I had that with ereaserhead

Great performance!

MarmaladeJacket if anyone ever finds this I'd much appreciate a notification

pretty sure Jug is Quaid is infamously one of the most elusive tapes that we know about
I guess we could always pay 5 dollars for a chat with Deaner in Cameo and ask
this shizz was so difficult to get

I was hitting a bong as I read this comment and farted all the smoke out of my mouth. Ow. Fuck you 3 year old comment.
@@PxTsik 7 years now. Do you feel old?
This song makes me wish I had an albino sunburnt girlfriend.
That sun, doesn’t sit well with me.
I was wondering where this song came from when I heard it live.
the internet
Damn this makes me feel high and i don't even know a crap about drugs
If you wanna see this song visualized play hylics. The soundtrack even sounds like this!
Reminds me of Lush

@ZeppelinFloydRoses you're in ween town, brotha
I need an umbrella, I hear its going to rain fire and fury.
@TKELL777 You can only press it once.
what recordis this mang?
It's from one of their many, many very odd demo tape things. This song is from "Jug is Quaid" which nobody seems to know anything whatsoever about.

Does this sound like Type O Negative to anyone else?
A little.
I can hear that a bit. Ween and Type O may not be sonically similar but they are creatively cut from the same cloth. Extremely eclectic, adventurous and always slightly tongue in cheek.
No
So Soundgarden like in the heavy as fuck part... I can hear them doing it in my head movies
