Sky is such a beautiful game and so dark in a way. Like we’re a child sent to bring light to whatever’s left in the realms. The only thing we see are ruins of what once was and the only ppl left are the spirits from each realm. After all that we go to Eden to give all the light we collected to the fallen so that they can rise and basically be at peace. It is dark and beautiful and some may miss all that amongst the distractions of cosmetics but omg playing the game aware of this really does change things. I love it. Happy playing sky kids!
We were instructed by a higher power to bring the disobedient stars back to the skies as they have served their sentence... at least that WAS the lore before tgc changed it and removed this higher being. And retconned the kingdom origin.

the animation would be the story of Sky before the game begins. In the game you explore qhat was left from Sky civilization, but the animation (from what they showed us) would be the story about Sky civilization before their fall. I also recommend you watch nintendo trailer for Sky, it's similar to this nut a little longer

This makes me feel this and the Nintendo trailer are connected! In this teaser, you see a village with kids, mantas, and eventually the Isle. In the Nintendo trailer, you see more of the travels, Isle, the stars falling, and then the Isle as it is now. Don't you think that has some lore in itself?
