Shark Tank US | Kevin Hates Dirty Cookie's Business Model
/ sptv
“$250,000 dollars is nothing to sneeze at” With his net worth, it’s very refreshing to hear Mark say that.
The cool thing about mark is that he knows a dollar is a dollar. He will never disrespect it.
Why is it refreshing? Martha Stewart broke the law just to sell $250k of stock before it went down. Besides, he also said she wasn't capital efficient, and he didn't make an offer
He also claimed 25% of her company was "nothing" lol
For a 10 mill valuation shes insane
Any profitable business is nothing to sneeze at
That's exactly what he wants you to think.
Cuban has manipulated you.
Finally a deal that wasn't stolen from Robert at the last minute.
Deal fell thru
@@HlifeRomania91 do you know why?
@@camiloabril6926 Because its from Robert lol
so true
I say that he stole that from Lori. She did was the only one who made an offer
Robert always makes fair offers, love that sympathetically guy
robert is a real good dude
hmm, not always. Sometimes he’s sharky
although most of his deal doesnt push through, there was a statistic released by shark tank and his after deal is only 30-40%
So different from Kevin
Kevin is one of the best sharks to pair with if you care about making money. He’s very profit driven.
She’s very lucky that this ended up being so profitable. It isn’t a crazy genius necessity, it’s a nice treat and she put 500,000 in debt into it. That’s crazy, but I’m glad it worked for her
It looks like a good idea for birthday parties and kids parties as a whole, maybe even weddings, people could have it for breakfast or afternoon tea if they take a liking to it. Her problem was trying to do it on her own, maybe if she had a husband siblings and Parrents helping, the business would have been smoother, instead she has a random which she wants to give 15% because of emotions.
The deal never went through after the show.
@@J040PL7 Good to know that if you one day make bank, you'll consider everyone near you as just "randoms" that cause emotions.
Did it end up being profitable?
@@aalokjoshi6839really?
Since appearing on Shark Tank, Dirty Cookie has made four times more sales than it used to. Today, the company's net worth is estimated at $10,000,000.

@@misterbobo8139 ok so what's the real figures?

You can tell from how she reacted to every no that she needed this deal. Good for her 👏🏾
Yes, she didn't needed the exposure per say, because she couldn't even handle all the demand till that point, so to get a shark with an investment for her to be able to get the machine was a must
@Kevin-xi2sr Yeah, in that way, it would have almost probably been a bad thing for her to get all the pubclity and extra orders from the appearance and have to try to keep up. Being unable to keep up with purchase orders is the best problem a company can have but only if they can quickly resolve it with a VC. Lol
Rob backed out after, she never got her machine
What do you mean food for her. She’s delusional.
When Robert initially said no, I was shocked because it felt like he wouldn’t quickly give up on an entrepreneur like that but that him coming in again was just something Robert would do
Deal didn't close
Lori is always generous. Her smile seems always to be there to burst out even when she loses her bait. She's a lovely shark. ❤❤
I call her glenda the good witch
wasn't generous with her offer lol
@@whatlez it was the only offer and I actually did not think it was all that terrible to counter based off the circumstances.
I think so too but I liked Shahira
@@whatlezit’s wan amazing offer, the business needed the money for the machine immediately or it wouldn’t work, so saving the company and building it that much faster is worth the equity imo
Robert invested in her more than the business. There were so many reasons to say no to this for them all.
He should’ve put something else where her mouth is 🤓
Yes he clapped the cheeks

😭
Mark has 2 daughters and plans on them being successful.
Though I heard it in that tone too 😂
He’s always really supportive of women. He seems like such a great girl dad, I felt his comment like that sucks of her dad to be like that
Mark saying "Aw that sucks" after she was talking about not living up to her dad's expectations was hilarious
Yeah definitely not an appropriate thing to say. Guess money doesn't make someone more sensible with their words lol.
That’s not really how it went. He said it sucks when she said her dad wanted a boy instead of a girl.
were you even listening??? how can you be so tone deaf?
@@RPKD88What? He’s saying that it sucks how her father challenged her for being a girl.
@@floydpinkerton7954 uh yeah I know, but that's not how you would respond. Lmao it sounded super nonchalant. Instead of saying "that sucks" he could have said something more appropriate. That's exactly why the og comment said it was hilarious.

So by Kevin's logic, by 3 years if you don't make money, it's a hobby. I bet AMAZON was a very big hobby for Jeff Bezos 😂 it took so many years for Amazon to record it to profit
Kevin only views that rule for small businesses, which he's right in most situations.
In the case of Amazon, the potential reward was so high that it was worth the risk of not making money for several years.
I see what you are saying but not every company is Amazon. Apple, Microsoft etc
I dont understand how most food buisness that come on sharktank make any money. Come on 50$ for 12 cookies. She must rely on customers spending too much in a good economic.

I love this show. And this one made them actually seem pretty sincere. And it looks like a good product
How is this a good product? shes a spoiled brat. This is terrible, it has a high cost, short shelf life, its not refined, what if it breaks in half and then ur left with a mess.... this is a dumb idea that was funded by a rich father.
When Marc sad “ah that sucks” did he mean it sucks for her or the dad? 😂😂
You can tell when Robert went out, he didn’t want to insult Shahira with a terrible offer. Lori saw the desperation in Shahira and made the crazy offer, in which Robert says “okay, she’s willing to consider such a crazy offer. This risk just may pay out”! Besides marketing, she needs guidance to drive her costs down, get the business going to where she needs it to be. She really needed the visibility and the mentorship.
I love it when everyone's out but one shark, then they swoop in and take a deal after all.
She is so strong and incredibly beautiful!! And such a touching story. Happy she got a deal in the end!
What does beauty have to do with anything
@@HurricaneLaughter I didn't say her beauty had to do with anything. I was just admiring her.

Yeah a touching story. Rich girl from Orange County with rich parents spends all her money into a company and then needs to be bailed out when it isn't profitable. What worries does she have if it fails? Daddy will take care of it. Hardly a touching story.
Because it immediately affects their level of living, people are impacted by inflation far more swiftly than they are by a stock or real estate market disaster. It is hardly surprising that market sentiment is as gloomy as it is right now. We are in desperate need of your help if we are to survive in this economy.
I feel like I could really need more assistance because navigating the market is so frightening to me. I've already sold off the majority of my assets, so I could use some guidance on where to put my money.

I have learned it hard-way that you didn’t need to prove anyone. You can still achieve success if you just focus on yourself.
her counter offer to Lauren was the right offer before she even heard roberts'. giving up less equity for more interest on the loan is smart for her in the long run. Robert's offer is the only thing that could be better for her in her situation. Congrats!
I feel like she should have just sold the molds to create these. Lori could have advertised them on QVC and sold millions in minutes. Then they would go in the same place as cookie or muffin tins go in the store. And could have advertised them to businesses that sell cookies, or ice cream, or candy etc. I know it’s a completely different business but just a thought.
Great suggestion, Whitney.
lori was super greedy tho, a loan offer for 25% is wild and i can’t believe mark was like “that’s nothing” especially the fact with her saying how much debt she was in, lori could have had her go bankrupt
