      Make sure you test it in an online lobby before your race. Sometimes the cars are looser in online lobbies than in test session. If it gets loose in an online lobby, then try going down on the track bars a couple of clicks or up a couple of clicks on the wedge.

There's a green traffic light on the fence in Turn 1, really deep into the corner. I finally learned to wait until I was close to it, and then get back on the gas. I've found the setups in no way work copied into the wrong car class but wasn't sure if you had certain differences down to a math or science. love the work you put in. gives me a great starting spot to tweak every damn time. you're a Saint sir! You and the boys do make me want to jump into Daytona traffic acting like non playoff drivers need to back off and not challenge championship contenders tho.. why even let them on the track guys? NO Sirs! A champion will be capable of overcoming ANY challenge especially that of a pointless 3 lap down derby mode road rage wildcard! stages. playoffs points. every track every race every car not having equal effect on anything called a championship is a joke BUT sadly is reality for now.. Nobody should lay down for anyone. I'm not even keeping up with you and how many points u may have. if you're in my bubble I'm doing whatever I can do withing a sporting manner to pass you and if crybaby Denny can't man up and win it he shouldn't get the glory of a champ! Larson as much as I hate it earned every bit of that title for at least a year and he never said a word.. take note crybaby Denny lol Mr jammin bumping bullying anyone u can get a nose up to but boohoo the moment somebody drives up your butt in the same manner.. haha.. sorry but respect and etiquette are earned luxuries and butthead Larson played his cards good enough to not get turnt lolol.. I know you guys weren't saying lay down but that's kinda what I heard and NONONO. haha.. love yall. keep up the good work. stay safe. and pray ignition is the last flop for a while.. guess it's heat 5 til October again!

    anything i can do to keep the right rear from wearing down so much?

    • @theset-upman3500
      @theset-upman3500  3 года назад +2

      Oh boy, tire wear! I feel like I could write several pages about tire wear, so this could be long!!! Tire wear is primarily caused by two main symptoms, 1) and ill handling race car, and 2) heat/friction from the tires being over or under inflated. If the rear tire is wearing because the car is loose, then we need to change the setup to tighten the car up. You can go up on the sway bar, but going too stiff on the sway bar can cause the car to vibrate/wobble violently in the corners. You can go up on the front bump and rebound settings a couple of clicks to help reduce the wobble. Other than the sway bar, you can go up on the wedge, up on the front weight, down on the right rear tire pressure or springs, or up on the left rear tire pressure or springs. You can also go down on the right front rebound setting and/or the right rear bump setting. Too much camber or wheel lock can also cause the car to be loose and wear the right rear tire. Try going down on the wheel lock or moving the camber settings closer to 0. Now, if the car is handling fine, let's talk about tire temps. I like to look at the tire temps when I'm halfway through a fuel run. The right side will always be the coolest, so focus on the left side and middle. If the right rear starts off the run cooler than the right front, and then gets hotter, that means the car is getting looser the longer you drive. If it's hotter all the way through a run, then you're just loose from the start. I try to look at the tire temps about halfway through the run, and look at what they are in the middle of a corner, and I like to keep the middle and inside temps within about 5-10 degrees of each other. If the middle is the hottest, go down on the tire pressure, if the inside is the hottest, go up on the tire pressure. If you can even out the tire temps, the tire will last longer. Sorry for the long response, but I hope this helps.

    Hey setup man I got a question do you have a preset or setup for this track. I havent got one in mind if you do let me know. Another question is that are you doing setups for the new nascar game as well.

    • @theset-upman3500
      @theset-upman3500  2 года назад +2

      Let me answer this in reverse order. Yes, I plan to make setups for the new game, but I'm hearing that there are no custom setups, only sliders, and I'm not sure what pit adjustments you'll be able to make. Speculation is that Custom setups will come out as DLC or in a later version of the game. Regarding Pocono preset for Cup, here's what I have, but I'm not real good at Pocono, so I haven't done a video with this setup. Preset of 4, tape at 55%, wedge at 50.2%, LF 18.25, RF 40.50, LR 18.75, RR 39.50. Normally, I run the Right sides between 55-60 and the lefts between 20-25, and it really helps the speed on the straights, but it didn't seem to help me at Pocono, and I just slid around in the turns more because the tire pressures were so high, so I brought the tire pressures back down. It seems like a high tape can really help out your speed, but it can make you loose when you're right behind someone in the corners, so be aware of that. Good luck hope it works for you!

    Innit a rule that once you're in 4th there's no downshifting unless pitting or at a roadcourse? Haven't actually watched a race in a long time.

    • @theset-upman3500
      @theset-upman3500  3 года назад

      I don't think that was ever a rule, but most of the time you don't slow down on ovals enough to have any need for downshifting. They did implement a rule several years ago that NASCAR tells the teams what gear ratio they have to run at each track.

Second, if you're in Career Mode, if you're not with a 5 Star team, or if you're running your own team, if you don't have the engine, aero and suspension all at 100, it will be really hard to reach those speeds. Final thought, try lifting earlier in the last turn, this will let you get back in the gas earlier and you'll have more speed at the end of the front stretch.
