Your hair is very beautiful.Thank you ever kindly enjoyed the rest of the weekend. God-Bless you 🪷 ❤

Well actually thanks for sharing the information and however the cost of hair products at Sephora,Ulta are expensive places to buy hair products for some folks.
People are getting way too defensive in the comments section. She's giving advice for anyone having problems and looking to get some solutions. To the creator, thank you! I've noticed that the products that make my hair soft aren't necessarily the best long term. Nothing gives me as much slip as leave in and grease in damp hair, but then I _have_ to use a harsh shampoo to make sure it's cleaned out properly (I can't go more than 6 days without washing my hair). A little counterproductive. I'm going to be incorporating heat in my haircare routine more as I notice that helps prevent single strand knots, so I have to let go of grease and some of my heavier products, anyway. Your recommendations are appreciated.
I wanted to comment and say that i have gain alot of knowledge from watching your videos thank you so much! I love how you focus on how to care for hair, either using heat or even our natural state in the most healthiest way. ❤🎉

I use to wash my hair weekly with a clarifying shampoo with a PH 5.5 until it was squeaky clean. I then did a deep conditioner with Mane Choice Egyptian mask. I then detangled with Aussie 3 minute Moist which is filled with silicones. I did this weekly for 3 years and my hair grew so long. I stopped doing clarifying unless I feel I need it and no silicones and I now get so much breakage and can't retain length. I have tried to find better products but I am going back to my tried and true.

I've used and continue to use rice water and my hair got less breakage. It's never damaged my hair though it was DIY. If you don't know how and when to use it you will damage your hair. If someone doesn't know what they're doing and damages their hair with a product or DIY it's not the product or DIY that's the problem. Mercy Gono, a RUclipsr and RN, gives a very good description of how to use it and different ways of making it. I've done it and other RUclipsrs I've seen have done it well. I've used Blue Magic only on my strands and ends not root or scalp. People have to educate themselves on hair, the product and how to use them on their hair.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge and insight. I’m struggling to get my hair length back after my hairstylist chopped my hair after I told her to just give me a trim!! I’ve always had long thick hair and I’m struggling to grow it back. I was definitely in the curly girl section and watching the DIY’s out of desperation but now I know to just better educate myself and research these products before dumping them in my hair 🥴.
I agree with not buying from the beauty supply stores, because I bought something from Sally’s was out and decided to buy from the beauty supply store, huge mistake… The package was the same but the product was definitely different, I turned the package around and compared the ingredients… Ingredients were different and in different concentrations. I took it back and pointed this out and they quickly refunded my money, because they already knew that they clearly are selling counterfeit products.
I stop using Hollywood beauty super gro grease for other products because it was hard to find them in my neighborhood beauty supply stores and now my hair is falling out really badly and my dermatologist is giving me medical shampoo and hair tonic and it not working so now i will have to go way across town to get them now that i found them again
😮Omgoodness experiencing this my hair is now very low porosity my nape is basically gone and my arches of my hair I had to take clippers and cut my hair and still cannot retain moisture I thought using Miele rosemary mint would help but it's doing nothing I'm using grape seed , jojoba, Aragon right now. I've tried olive oil and coconut oil my hair literally feels like a brillo pad. I decided to have box braids put in last week praying that I wouldn't see my hair just drop off piece by piece they're holding on by a thread 🙏🏾 my hair won't even grow anymore I'm so overwhelmed
Go see a dermatologist or trichologist as soon as possible. If you have a scarring alopecia it needs to be treated before hair follicles are permanently damaged. Also go see your PCP to check hormone levels, vitamins & minerals in blood. Get some blood work. I hope you get answers to what's causing your thinning & hair loss. I had a similar issue. Was diagnosed with a scarring alopecia called CCCA (Central Centrifugal Cicatricial Alopecia). I got the proper treatment. Doing much better now.
She's right. We need to use what our hair love and will grow, stop breakage, and stop split end and damage hair. Also your hair will stay and keep moisturize and healthy. So stop using alot of products that other people say they are using to grow their hair. It may grow their hair but it might not grow yours. So use the right product for your hair.
You are so right I have noticed this with my hair when I went natural. professional products works so much better for me and the kenra moisturize shampoo/ conditioner works amazing
What shampoos and conditioners are best for curly naturals, that don't have too much protein to cause our hair to dry or feel like straw? When Shea Moisture ( not all Shea Moisture shampoos do this) I switched every other week from Shea Moisture to Creme of Nature. Even though they have lots of protein, they help to restore my natural curls pattern.
The Mielle oil did zero for me. I didn’t like the scent and stopped using it back when I tried it years ago before it went viral. I ordered 2 of them during the $5 sale , before it became the $7 sale. 😅 Starting in July I stopped using natural hair products after I started watching Cyn Doll videos. Some of the things that you mentioned are the same things that she says. All my Mielle products are in a bag to give away or sell…haven’t made up my mind yet.
I literally threw all my natural hair products in the trash and I use Pantene for white girls it works so much better on my hair than any black hair products they were always to heavy for my low porosity hair! My friends laugh at me for using "white people products" 😂
@letsgrowtogethertv I've always used "white people products," before I used black hair products. Now I use both at the same time. They've always worked for my hair.
We grew up on Pantene hair products because my dad worked for Hoffman La Roche. I haven't used it in years. I see that they have the Gold Series line for Natural and Curly texture hair. I may have to give them a try again.
Hair growth is genetics, internal and not external so look back and at your diet first. Secondly, all you need is water and an oil like castor oil for your scalp. I’m working on my own hair cleanser as I totally agree, stay out of those aisles. They’re extremely dangerous. Just because something works doesn’t make it right.
Hey Shell! I just found your page yesterday while looking for guidance on how to become a straight natural. I've been watching the series you made for that, particularly what flat irons to choose. I have fine, thick density natural hair so I want a ceramic/tourmaline flat iron. However, I'm also on a budget (for now) lol, so I was wondering if you had any recommendations for flat irons that are budget friendly?
My hairdresser tells me that oil will make your hair burn. She does not approve of oil on the hair, if she has to straighten, whether natural blowout or if perm
I mix ACV and conditioner...Let it set Iin my hair for about a hour...Rinse it out...Rub a little tea tree oil thru it...Hot come for a wrap or curls...Is this OK???
Rice water shampoo bars has grown my hair from neck length to waist length along with using other natural hair oils & products. Everyone hair different, everyone scalp is different also. The greasy products & Mielle I do agree are no good! Great video for discussion 👍🏾
This is pure foolishness, because before any oils were used my grandmother used blue magic and our hair thrived like no other. People research hair products for yourself. I have been on this long enough to commit!!!!
Thanks for sharing bad products and practices, but it would have been helpful to also share products that are good for those who may be ready to throw those old products out. I hate when people give the negative aspects and not follow it up with good suggestions or solutions. So what should we be using instead? 😢😢
Hello there! Thanks so so much for this information. I only use innssense, Trepadora and Olaplex and my hair feels dried out a lot. Do you recommend those products? Sometimes I think we just layer too many products also. Wash every 7 days. I also did the 30 day hair challenge by black girl curl and stop using Leven conditioners. I think that was the worst thing for my hair. Back to using conditioners Hair is filling a lot better.
Definitely use a leave in conditioner. Olaplex is good but don’t use the entire line. Design essentials has good deep conditioners and Mizani has good leave ins.
What would you recommend for kids hair age 2+ with 4c I noticed just for me products doesnt work well I need a good hair mask and shampoo for my daughter hair

My hair is growing fabulous and I have not used grease in years.
Older female here thinning hair and getting bald spots help me please😊
How did blue magic make the list🤔
Bottom line just diy and get Indian herbs make oils and leave ins …
I literally threw all my natural hair products in the trash and I use Pantene for white girls it works so much better on my hair than any black hair products they were always to heavy for my low porosity hair! My friends laugh at me for using "white people products" 😂
I love L'Oreal protein treatments and Garnier Fructis triple nutrition.
Used Pantene years ago then they changed the formula, to me it smells bad, like a lot of other products.
Pantene made my hair fall out
Great tips !
I love blue magic hair products but not all of them does work for me.
First !!! Hi from Scotland 🏴! Tfs
Not blue magic. Big difference good stuff
Yes I wash my hair very well I use detox my hair
Blue magic is amazing!! she don’t know what she’s talking about !! I use blue magic on All my kids hair
But you have locs
So what are the best oils to use, because I'm transitioning and going through menopause
What about products for toddlers, keep it moisturized 🤔 ?
Great video and great information thank you !!!!!!!
I found out I'm allergic to that Mielle Rosemary Oil. It was awful.
Rice water shampoo bars has grown my hair from neck length to waist length along with using other natural hair oils & products. Everyone hair different, everyone scalp is different also. The greasy products & Mielle I do agree are no good! Great video for discussion 👍🏾
Low porosity hair here, so less is more for me, more water based products than oil.
Thank you ❤
Are moroccanoil products good ?!
Just let GOD. And He will make sure your hair grows right. I'm Living proof. Putting all that mess in the hair.
I just brought 4x longer hair from Walmart and my hair was shedding badly and it stopped my shedding, ling hair I can’t tell that as of now
Good information
Very helpful..thank you..
This is pure foolishness, because before any oils were used my grandmother used blue magic and our hair thrived like no other. People research hair products for yourself. I have been on this long enough to commit!!!!
Which part was foolish?
Thanks for sharing bad products and practices, but it would have been helpful to also share products that are good for those who may be ready to throw those old products out. I hate when people give the negative aspects and not follow it up with good suggestions or solutions. So what should we be using instead? 😢😢
I have a ton of videos showing what to use.
What types of hair grease shoukd I use? Can u help,me?❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
No hair grease. What issue are you struggling with?
How about the “Aphogee” line?
What do you suggest as a good pre-poo product?
She is So Right it will make you go bald
What would you recommend for kids hair age 2+ with 4c I noticed just for me products doesnt work well I need a good hair mask and shampoo for my daughter hair
☀️🍁☀️🍁☀️ Hello, new subscriber here! Can we get a video for best products for non heat trained naturals? When your time allows thank you 😊🍁☀️🍁☀️
Is Rosemary Water damaging to the hair ?
No, just don’t use it daily.
@@shelltalkshair I was using it daily but only for this past week. Okay, thank you.
Where is your hair salon located
