There are less damaging ways to be a straight natural. Rollersets and flexi rod sets are great options to stretch your hair. My hair is so trained now that I can do a round brush blowout alone and I still have my curls. It's been almost 3 years of wearing my hair straight 90% of the time.
That’s my fear I like straight hair but my hair needs to be washed weekly, and I workout so I’m conflicted. I’d like to alternate from wash and gos then go straight for a week
Improper technique is what damages hair. I’ve been wearing my hair straight for over a year. I have fine hair and I wash, blow dry on high heat/speed, and press my hair on 370 weekly and I still have my curls. Our hair is no different than other ethnicities/races. It just takes more time to do because we have the curliest type, but we can absolutely do everything everyone else does with proper technique and no damage.
Im so happy I found you! I bought the suggested products (yours were sold out at the time) It made a HUGE difference. I am unable to visit a professional right now but im hoping to soon 🎉🎉
My hair does a lot better if I roller set it first then roller brush and or flat iron it . I NEVER get heat altered. But, if I blow it out then straighten it I almost ALWAYS will ...
Great video. Thank you! I deep condition, use a leave in and heat protectant but when I blow dry with my Dyson it feels super dry afterwards. It’s like the Dyson sucks all the moisture right out of my hair. I don’t want to invest in a RevAir (as recommended in your free guide). Do you have any other recommendations or tips?

That’s great! It’s all about finding what works for you. Unfortunately, due to my busy lifestyle, I don’t have time for a roller set.
@@VirgosGroove3I workout 6 days a week, so I have settled on the way look 😂
@@VirgosGroove3 I wash once or twice a week. My scalp has to be washed. I can't go longer than a week or my scalp is literally on fire.

Hi Shell! I’m not a complete straight natural but I’m jotting down your tips anyway. Thank you!
You're welcome! Glad this helped
It would be great if I could find a stylist to my liking. Its a challenge
My hair does
a lot better if
I roller set it first
then roller brush
and or flat iron it .
I NEVER get heat altered.
But, if I blow it out
then straighten it
I almost ALWAYS will ...
Oh wow, good to know!
TY❤
What treatments do you recommend?
What kind of treatments would you recommend for regular maintenance and what brands?
What if I’m heat training because I want my curl pattern to change? Should I still take breaks? And if so, how long?

Good video beautiful 🎉
Titanium tore my hair up after a few years. I just went back to Chi but I’m not feeling it 😢
