Aww Jimmy if it makes you fell better I haven't gone to a convention or a concert either cause those sounded like fun and all but I'm in Arizona on of the most boring country in th US and you get straight up heat stroke if you didn't bring a water bottle or anything to keep you hydrated. Sure there are like zoos, Aquarium and other places but the temperature goes up to above 100 and cool down to I believe a 28 or something like that it's a legit oven in summer and spring morning and cold in the fall and winter. nights.
I understand the heat, here in central California we got up to 115 yesterday. It’s no fun.. I can’t stand the heat. It always feels like it’s never winter, just summer all year round and fall/spring some of the time

I also live in one of the most boring states and have also never been to a convention or concert and they honestly sounded great until they didn’t lol
Filipino here, never been to a concert or convention either.
Finding concerts, or hell even organizing them is already hard enough due to the climate, cost, and their target audience not being big enough to go out of their way to organize one (at least where I am from)
Going to an aquarium or zoo here even is already kinda pricy, I've only been to a zoo twice in my life.
Best you can get are little concerts with friends or some people you and your friends know. Or a zoomba early in the morning lmao
Bruh any concerts in my area (southernmost tip of texas) are all music that either i genuinely dont like or i don't prefer only like one rock band has come over and it was for a whole big several day christian event
(what makes it worse is that this was before i could even legally work so if i wanted something i had to ask my parents and as it was rock and in english it wasn't worth it)
Any bands that do happen to have concerts just in texas in general are usually in dallas or austin which is the opposite side of the state from where i live
