    I usually don't compiled in one image, the sun path, the wind, the approach etc. Because it'll make the image so crowded with many colors. I usually divide it, one category one picture.
    But ur works is nice too :)

    • @SurvivingArchitecture
      @SurvivingArchitecture  6 лет назад +11

      Yeah that is true. It really depends on preference. With me, the more crowded, the better haha!

      Bahrumsyah Bila Sahil this depends on youre presentation style if presenting as a report then each topic needs its own diagram, how ever when presenting as a poster 1 or 2 are more than enough or els it will just be over crowded

      Bahrumsyah Bila Sahil my teacher told me the same, coz i usually tell many information in one picture :( i’m new for making architecture portfolio

      It's bullshit to include it, because every plan should have north-Orientation anyway. So in every place in the nothern hemisphere it's the same 😅

    • @SurvivingArchitecture
      @SurvivingArchitecture  5 лет назад

      As far as i know digimap is for UK only, if your looking for any other country which i assume you are, you would have to do some research and try to get floor plans of that building this is mainly provided by the goverment website as all floor plans and site plans ect are always available for the public. I hope that helps! :)

  • @jackboredom9220
    @jackboredom9220 4 месяца назад

    Hi im wondering.. how do u present all these different elements at once like as a story, should you determine the design idea first before conducting site analysis and lastly, how do you determine the accuracy of the data (like for example the specific noise levels and sources) or rather how long did it take to be completely sure about the data were collecting/how long did you take to finish collecting it on the site

    • @SurvivingArchitecture
      @SurvivingArchitecture  4 месяца назад +1

      To do this, first present all of your site analysis findings, then your concept, then how it relates back to the site analysis. As for accuracy, you can try to find creedible sources for noise levels in that area but it won't be as acurate as getting a noise specialist. For a university project, it does not have to be accurate as they care mostly on how you respond to these conditions.

    • @SurvivingArchitecture
      @SurvivingArchitecture  5 лет назад +2

      I wish I knew hehehehhehe but no on a serious note. I do my research, site analysis, brief analysis and then start sketching. I would have a concept that I think works with the site and the context. I then try to sketch plans, sections, elevations based on that idea and I go from there. I mostly don't think anything is good in that stage hehehe so I continue to develop and try to get it closer to the concept all while looking at precedents. I look at all of precedent maybe more than I should. I also go back and research the site once more and see maybe something sparked an idea. Once I have everything functionally done as in the layout and the sizes for the rooms I try to develop plans and sections because to me those are more important and the elevations would follow after. I hope that helps :)
