      @@SurvivingArchitecture Not really, I was learning to become a drawer, I've always been interrested in architecture, fashion, furniture, all kinds of design so it went very smooth! And you're right about the architecture in Holland! And a nice contrast between architecture & countrysite.

    Thank you so much for this video, it was very helpful💜 I always struggle with site analysis diagrams , one thing I wanted to ask - where did you get the original map? I usually use the Google maps and it's way harder to make these kind of diagrams on them 😐

      I understand what you mean, I did a 7 best sites for architect students and I talked about what site will give you cad drawings which you can then export into Photoshop and do the diagrams on m.ruclips.net/video/xE0dKG2aMws/видео.html thank you for watching :)

    How did you guys get the map into layers? did you individually download maps according to which element you worked on?

      She used 'Digimap.com' which is a UK map generator which allows you to export maps with different layers. And that is what she did. Thank you for watching ❤️

      I use www.digimap.com for UK only maps and www.cadmapper.com for worldwide. I hope this helps :)

      Try searching "Met Office ( country x )" as it covers everything you need to know about a country's/region's climate. It is a .gov website so its reliable.

    Hi, Could you do a tutorial for adobe illustrator? At about a minute in you show a clip of a cool diagram in illustrator. I've got the basic understanding of tools down from photoshop; however, I would love to see how illustrator could be better for this!

      @@SurvivingArchitecture Yes I have just watched. I was wondering, say I am doing a site analysis diagram and use a digimap. Is there a way to create an isometric drawing from that map, to create a 3D-like view of the site prior to having a building design etc. I've watched videos on creating individual buildings but cannot find any examples where they start with a 2D map and build up. I've not used Sketchup before so I do not know if I need that to achieve my aim. Thank you for your reply. I'm so glad I've found your account!

      If i check for sector allocations around it.
      Areas which are allocate dor roads that are not built yet. There is a santuary near my site but wild life details are not available.....
      Fortunately there was a master plan for that site in state govt. site which i think was not allowed to download but only viewing maybe but i had dig in internet to get it downloaded through a third party sites which create downloadable image of the non image format map
      ALL THIS FOR ROAD MAPS AND THE DIMENSIONS OF THE ROADS THAT NOT YET EXISTS AND WATER BODIES WHICH I COULD GET THROUGH INTERNET.....😟
      We though of going for site visit but the covid started

      As far as I'm aware, there isn't a website that can analyse that for you. I've heard from colleagues who did those analysis that they visited the site and stayed there for hours to figure our people's movements.

      I used Digimap. It's only available in the UK but you can use open street map.

      I know right! haha but I do enjoy making diagrams and playing with colors. Its the one area in architecture where you can be completely free so why give it up to a software?

      @@SurvivingArchitecture I study architectural/building engineering and I have to do that plus the technical part all together, it can be enjoyable to do it on our own but it sure will be nice to have a software do part of the work 😔

    one thing that almost everyone forget is photoshop can be great to make things pretty but diagrams???!!!! NO NO
    during my study time I have always been told to only use cad and illustrator for diagrams and construction drawings.

      Hehehehe why are you so angry about using photoshop. Some people perfer using it over illustrator and other perfer illustrator. It's just personal preference.
