    Marjoram is a game changer for Homemade sauces and soups! I always wondered why my Italian and other things didn't taste like the jar and it was missing the background flavor of Marjoram. I love putting it in almost anything savory.

      So agree!! Marjoram is a Must in marinara sauce. We have a recipe that we’ve perfected for our family’s taste (and husband is Italian ❤️). It’s so quick and easy that we don’t buy premade jars anymore. It is also great in general purpose herb blends.

    Thank you SO MUCH for doing this review ! I bought one because of you and I loved it but I am in between cycles right now. I have bought Grow Anything Pods and have sown kale and cherry tomato seeds. I agree with you that herbs are the best, for me anyway. I did not get tomatoes in the indoor garden but I transplanted them outside for the outdoor growing season (I also live in Canada). I look forward to see what your plants look like next. And thank you for the demonstration of the dismantling of the garden to clean it !!! Cheers !

      Oh yay!!! I’m so glad to hear that. We really love ours too and definitely.. the herbs are the best! 😅😅 So smart you transplanted yours! I realized I should’ve done that with my thyme … but me and potted plants are always a mess. 😂 Glad the cleaning tips were helpful too. Wish I had known them sooner myself! 😄

    Thank you for sharing your experience with this garden! I really appreciate your honest review. My question is about pests. Do you get any gnats or fruit flies with the garden? I have had those when I bought fresh herbs in a pot with soil. Thanks!

      @LetsEatPlants  Месяц назад

      You're welcome! Happy to do it. 🤗 No pests! That is one of the things I love about this garden. We haven't had any gnats or fruit flies. 😃 I think it's because it uses much less soil than regular potted plants!

    I love the indoor garden idea. Does it use some fertilizer? My Aerogarden uses MiracleGro which I'm not a fan of since I buy all organic produce. If this one doesn't require a chemical fertilizer, I'd be very interested :)

      That’s a great question! Let me reach out to the C&G team to ask! To my knowledge they don’t, but I’d love to know for sure myself. 😊😊

      Just heard back! 😊 Here's what they said about what's in the soil: "We're fans of pure food and non-GMO plants and haven't put anything in our products that is even remotely suspicious. There are no pesticides, fungicides, insecticides, plant hormones or any other suspicious substances in our products. And there's no need for them - a well watered and fed plant with perfect growing conditions can defend itself without any outside help. All we have added is some minerals to feed the plant. Although the mineral salts we use are chemically the same as in all organic fertilizers, in most countries it cannot be certified as "organic"."

    How do you keep unused pods and for how long?

    • @LetsEatPlants
      @LetsEatPlants  День назад

      I just keep them in their original packaging until I’m ready to use them! The packaging has a sticky top layer so it re-seals well. 😊 I imagine they last quite a while as I’ve kept unused ones for months and haven’t had any problems once planted. 😃

    Put that little thyme in a sunny spot outside and you'll never have to buy thyme ever again. Totally carefree; I can even harvest it from under the snow in wintertime.

      Yes omg I realized upon editing this video that I *totally* should’ve just replanted it in another pot! 😆🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ It’s definitely a hearty plant!

    Do the plants attract/bring in little flies?

    • @LetsEatPlants
      @LetsEatPlants  Месяц назад

      They do not! That's another thing I love about this garden. I have had lots of trouble with little flies & gnats with other potted plants. I think because this one doesn't have a lot of soil, they really aren't attracted to it in the same way. 😊

    How do you label them?

    • @LetsEatPlants
      @LetsEatPlants  Месяц назад

      There are label tabs on each pod! You can use an erasable marker or I’ve also used stickers before as well. 😊😊
