      6 month with an unplayable port that they will have to fix for another 3 month. So sometime next year 😅

    Interesting approach, it seems like you're not prioritizing maximizing the stagger windows but instead focus on bringing down constant damage as much as possible as soon as the abilities cooldown, which apparently looks quite effective.
    It's good seeing a different approach, me on the other hand rely on countering skills like raging fists and rooks gambit to stagger then get all the damage i can get within the stagger window.

    • @xDevilNeverCry
      @xDevilNeverCry  Год назад +2

      You definitely can play it safe and go for building stagger. I just found the longer the fight took the more likely I was to make a mistake and the extra damage that stagger provided wasn’t worth the wait.

      @@xDevilNeverCry exactly what i saw in this video, the more i wait for an enemy attack to counter the higher the possibility of me messing it up and getting hit. Both playstyles looks to be viable it seems it's just a matter of how you LIKE to play and that's what is awesome

      thing is you can work on the stagger gauge, and do good damage at the same time without compromising, abilities like diamond dust, giga flare, and steel, have reasonable cool downs, so u can get those out once or twice before staggered and have them still ready for stagger

    I was wondering, are you using those big skils out of stagger because of the challenge (no damage)? I have been saving my big skills for the staggers

    • @xDevilNeverCry
      @xDevilNeverCry  Год назад

      Yeah, primarily because I'm trying to focus on DPS and use everything I have to stagger them

    Beautiful gameplay DnC. Are still playing in FRAMERATE? I couldn't get past how low resolution drops during combat in FRAMERATE mode. On the other hand, QUALITY mode is a motion blurry nightmare. Sigh. Great game nonetheless. It just desperately needs a 40fps mode.

    • @fallb0rn
      @fallb0rn Год назад +1

      I would rather have stable framerate mode. All they have to do is to disable ray tracing. Game would be running flawless in 60 if that was an option.

    Im kinda sad that this games combat kinda desolves into spamming all your abilities and then waiting for its cooldown, so you can dump all of them in a chain again.
    No enemy weaknesses to elements or other means to actually combo like in DMC. Was kinda expecting more.

    • @Umi_Pumi
      @Umi_Pumi Год назад

      @@Broken_Lobo This literally changes nothing about the fundamentally broken and boring system, when your abilities are on cooldown. You almost never have any good damaging options or special moves like in DMC or Bayo for example. You always have to wait for your Eikon abilities and then you are locked into 10sec animations most of the time. thats not a good combat system for a action rpg

    • @MagiusNecros
      @MagiusNecros Год назад +1

      Game pretty much plays like FFXIV. It very much is about utilizing CDs or forcing staggers for a burst window. Unless the player is engaged in that sort of thing the combat is going to seem very boring once you figure out a "meta" rotation for every encounter. Game is still fresh so a lot of players are engrossed in the flashy animations and story driven narrative and the game's shortcomings will be overlooked.
      Just want to say as a player of FFXIV 2.0-6.0 I get where you are coming from. Given that half the FFXIV devs worked on this game I can see a lot of FFXIV systems having been used in this game. More bad then good.
      I think FFXVI overall is a good action game but a bad FF game. Makes me worried about FF's future.

    • @MagiusNecros
      @MagiusNecros Год назад

      @@Broken_Lobo Depends. Some encounters you can do more damage by blowing your load during stagger. Other times it would be worth it to save your CDs to force another stagger after the first one ends that could lead to an increase in overall DPS. Varys from encounter. There isn't a whole lot of RPG elements in the combat if at all. The combat has to be approached with a fighting game mindset. I think there is some depth in how one approaches different encounters but at a glance one might think the combat is shallow.
      It's one thing to watch the fight and to do the fight yourself.
