- Starting off Vlogmas strong by attending a fabulous new luxury perfume brand launch in NYC and putting up my first Christmas tree. By first I mean the first one that's just for Nii and I - we're spending Christmas in the Big Apple so I'm excited to do all of the festive things! I also went to Miami this week but that will be in another vlog...ENJOY!

Merry Christmas! 1. Mugler outfit was smashing. 2. Yes, of course, please do what you got for Christmas. It’s not insensitive AT ALL. Gifts are tokens of love from family and friends, and it’s always a pleasure to see people we feel kindly toward being showered (or even SPRINKLED) with such. 3. Your tree is very sweet. Tips for future tree decoration: Let it sit for 24 hours after delivery for the branches to drop. Don’t just drape the lights, actually pull branches through the twisty bit of wire and push the bulbs to the back. Buy some inexpensive, colorful balls and hang them near the trunk so they’re just a bit of color in the background, and your show stoppers out front. The smaller the ornament, the closer to the top so they don’t get lost in the mix. Buy yourself a Christmas ornament storage box BEFORE Christmas because they sell out and just when you go to take down the tree they’re not to be found. 4. Enjoy every minute of the season! ❤

As someone who has decorated a LOT of Christmas trees in her life. watching you just staring in confusion at the string of lights was literally the highlight of my entire month!!! 😂😂😂 Dad to the rescue! I absolute cherish you and these vlogs ☺
If you feel like your tree is too small, I've seen people who choose a smaller tree that they place it on top of a chest or some similar piece of furniture and I thought that compensates for the lack of size nicely.
My grandmother got that same car mistletoe ornament for myself and two cousins this year! (Every year she’s given us each an ornament so this was my 27th and I’ve done a tree just dedicated to them.)

Yes Cassie you need another 2 to 3 strings of lights to make it really look good. I thought it was quite funny how you started at the bottom and then boom all of a sudden you were at the top, maybe you could start over once you get your new lights round and round and round they go.
With real trees, you usually let it sit for a day to let the branches ‘fall’ or settle before decorating.

In the city, we usually have the tree on a table or summat, so the smaller tree is preferable. lol the lights, you plug in rap the lights then if you need more you plug in the end. I love your Dad. Go to the Duane Reade, they have lights. you might want to get the green wire hooks from the duane reade too. If it's still there, go to 18th and 9th and theres a store with lots of glass. I got vintage baubles there before.

I remember being in my 20s and still being able to call my dad when I couldn’t figure something out. How lucky you are, treasure these times.
You might need some metal hooks to hang those ornaments so you can put them out at the tips of the branch or wherever. And be careful where you place them the New York ornament was very cool but also very large so you want to put that someplace where it’ll dangle not just lay on top of the branches below. It might also need a hook instead of just the ribbon

You're going to have to do a Christmas Shopping vlog. 🎄🌟⛄ There are lots of Christmas Tree "Farms" in New York city that sell real trees, and they will put a stand on for you so you don't have to do that yourself. So.. if you want a different tree then keep that in mind. ✨🍭 You're Christmas Ornaments are really Lovely. 🎄🌟

Cassie I’m watching you decorate your tree and I was laughing so hard when you took out the lights and had no idea what the female end to the lights was for . It’s so if you want to add more lights when your half way up your tree ( in your case one set should be good haha as your tree isn’t big) then you can string them up and add more as you go . So cute to see you decorating your first Christmas tree. It looks amazing ❤
Also when you get a fresh tree they will start to settle after a few hours . They usually say to let the tree sit in the water for a few hours and the branches will relax . So funny seeing you pushing the branches down haha 😂

First Christmas in NYC! Super exciting. I bought two things for Black Friday and returned both of them, haha. I swear the sales get longer every year. I just got a text from Jomashop the other day advertising Black Friday 2. Why? Lord, it was enough the first time.

Yes, of course we want to see “what I got for Christmas”. I understand the thought of being insensitive, but just acknowledging that ia great! And also, how about a “omvendt julegave» as we say in Norwegian? In principe it means giving/buying someone in need something they wish (and not necessarily something they “need” (toothbrush etc.), but something they would never dear to dream of. Doesn’t have to be too expensive💖 (only an recommendation since I’m doing this,of course not something you have to do or should feel obliged to do!)🎄
I love giving back so I’ll definitely be donating items and money to some people in need 💖

For the tree … I think I woulda grabbed my keys and head to a home decor store to purchase another one, Cass. 😆 It didn’t turn out too bad though. U did what you could do with it! 🤷🏾♀️😂 Regarding who you choose for management , just pray about every agency that you consider and ask God to tell your heart who best matches your vision. I say do the video of what you got for Christmas. I enjoy them. I always like how it shows how we have a lot of the same things. And it gives me ideas for things I may want. For example, the year you got the Ritz Carlton sweater. I loved it so much, I bought one after seeing yours. Happy for all the opportunities coming your way! I love love your Xmas tree! My is also “short “ just because I went in a hurry but I put it on top of a square box/ type table and cover it with the Xmas skirt. But you know it looks wonderful like that! Thanks for sharing your new traditions in your new life in NYC

Helpful hint, it’s easier to decorate the ones that are already put together. When you try to get all those walls to stand up and the roof it’s usually a disaster. So you can buy them with the house complete and then decorate as you will
