How would you be left guessing which way the wheels are pointing? you wheel is literally turned in your hands. Also like you said, its geared towards comfort, so a light and comfortable steering makes sense. A sporty feeling steering would make absolute no sense. WTF are you talking about? so you want inconsistency over what the car is designed to do?
Absolutely stunning! - drives great, seats are very comfortable - they're like armchairs and very supportive. My only negatives are that the back doors only open a little bit, cheapest leather material used for interior dashboards to get easy scratch and also the rear seat space is a bit tight, not ideal for kids or and car seats. It doesn't hold its resale value very well, but apart from that it's a great car.
When I hear this presenter, talking about lacking of steering feel, even saying that you get to the point of "not knowing where the front wheels are pointing" . I get so worried, about the "specialist drivers " ,that we encounter on the roads. That's scary!
Can someone explain the point of plug in hybrid? It only does a few km on electric, how can that justify spending time at the charger or even have home charger?
Charging the battery even via a normal domestic plug is achievable overnight, allowing people to commute or do their daily errands with zero tailpipe emissions. It then offers the dependability and ease of use for longer journeys. They may not be the future in the longer-term, but they're a great stepping stone for those not familiar with electrification.
Best for people who have short city commutes during the week and longer trips just on weekends etc, fully electric are a lot more expensive at the moment due to the batteries costing thousands.
I'm driving bmw 330e plug in hybrid. Charging at home and at work, 10 miles trip each way only on electric motor. Also it's quick as 330i but consumes much less petrol. Now it's time to change the car and DS 4 might be the next.
I'll keep my BMW 225xe for the time being. I am looking for the future for a newer plug-in hybrid at more like 80 km true range in winter-time and the same dynamic driving experience as my current ride. Interior space is smaller in this DS and the boot and back seats do not offer the same flexibility. I agree the interior of the DS 4 E-TENSE looks nice, but not functional enough for me
Don’t buy French bin, Interior looks futuristic set from the 80s. Black and white old 1970s Star Trek style. Don’t be a plum run from this French Rubbish!
@@jaymirza1 You bash French cars just for the sake of it. The DS4 is just absolutely sensational but hey you have brain issues so you'll keep bashing just because it's French. Let's leave it here. Stay in your sad petty world.
Good review as always. My reactions were as follows: Smart looking car. £35k - £40k ? For a French car ? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 You are joking? You're NOT joking !!! Don't be ridiculous NO !!
If one was really “guessing where the wheels were pointing” you’d be off the road! One of the worst and stupidest observations I’ve ever heard…
I will wait for the ev version
Made in.....Germany!

I enjoyed watching the Video Review. Different to other rivals but very stylish
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks Jamie. And yes, we agree - definitely different to rivals.

Excellent video, can you advise on the best model for economy? Thanks in advance. Kind regards Danny uk
I always think ds are too fussy and cheap trying to be flash bit this is lush
Sound is very low 🔅
A very attractive car, but too compromised to be a threat to German brands. And, that’s before any second hand values are considered.

@Skyline World The DS4 is made in Germany :)
Not electric.
Nope, plug-in hybrid!
Some people will see that as a positive.

@@DonDixit why ? 🤣🤣
DS is selling about the same number of cars in Europe as Jaguar. Not bad!
@@jeromelondon3609 they probably break down less frequently too
Peter R It’s not very hard to do better than Jaguar in terms of reliability…
