I've got a Citroen relay My dpf was blocked and in limp mode So I took the dpf off and cleaned it with wynns off car cleaner then refitted it and had the had a garage to tell the van it had a new dpf which solved the problem The thing I want to know is why the van is black smoking now but wasn't before and what causes black smoke
It’s supposed to be an agm and it’s had an efb fitted that’s the problem the smart charging system will struggle to select the correct charging cycle and damage the battery
The car originally had an AGM I didn't realise it was changed to EFB until after I looked under the wire. But all checked again and confirmed a new AGM battery has resolved it

Black smoke is usually related to the injector, check the injecters and ensure no injectors are leaking fuel.

battery should hold 12.6V for many hours, dropping below that threshold in a few minutes points to poor quality battery
