Recently cared enough to check out what american football was all about... Hasn't slept much since. This game is amazing!
Dritslem glad u like it
Me too!!
Same here, just bought a crappy ball from sports direct I'm over the moon
Same here. I am from the netherlands. Only soccer and tennis is huge here. I like its highly tactical. Can anyone recommend great american football books?
Omg all the europeans on football videos just try to make fun of the sport thank you
Ab's little dance at the end was the golden key of this video.
This is so helpful! I have never learnt this before and am so less confused now. Thank you
The rams joke isnt selling anymore bruh😂😂😂
Didn't age well lmao
Now it is
especially now
Yh💀
Definitely not now

Not at all lol. need to do a reupload of this video lol
Jon Wats oh yes it did lmaoo
@@jcbyo nah not rly

Should have mentioned the Detroit Lions. Any dig against them will age just fine because they will ALWAYS be bad.
Thanks for the video man very engaging. Going to use it in my P.E. class to help explain some concepts and they will love the movie cut-ins.
6 years later and its still helping me
Great animations
Thanks. I like the route tree
my first year as a varsity player and playing at all gotta learn these receiver routes
You’re very correct sir!
I’m from Australia and I’m in love with nfl
still some of the most exciting plays of the sport
Nice job!
it was coo I play for Clark and it helped a lot
This actually helped
Guest what Rams in the SuperBowl buddy haha
That moment when the rams offense doesn’t suck anymore
Nah the Rams have returned to mediocrity. They did not deserve a super bowl appearance in 2019.
Thanks
Beautiful route tree.
ur a Pittsburg fan aren't u
Some of the best WR’s in NFL history, were the best route-runners around.
so funny to learn thanks
nice
Now i know how to play madden ☺ thanks.

Who else went straight to the comment when he said “the rams”
How do you make a receiver do a corner route?
What about the rams
Add in all the other names though like seam, hitch, drag, etc
Im only here because my gym class is doing Football.
Not physically ramming but just getting close.
my coach wanted me to watch this
Sluggo- combo route that starts out as a slant and then turns into a go route
This helps I’m going from d line to wr at age 27 wish me luck 😂😂
thank you i have the foot work but i don’t know the routes
I hope you know now how little sense your comment makes
Pause at 2:04
😳
HA HA, the Rams, yeah, ahhhhhh.
🙏🏽
Almost Everything that he mentioned was informative. But why pick on the new Rams. Torry Holt, Isaac Bruce, Az-Zahir Hakim, Ricky Proehl, Tony Horne, Roland Williams, Dane Looker, Kevin Curtis. They were the idea receivers. They couldn't be stopped. Wait I forgot about "Spy Gate".
Chris Green spy gate? NAH!!! No the Rams really lost to Pat's was because BB always being ahead of the curve and adapting to the rules that were in place at the time. I believe it was the next year NFL installed new rules on DB's hitting WR's @ LOS. The NE CB's starting with the physical Ty Law knocked the shit out of St L. WR that day. They were dog tired in the 4th Q.
“You’re the rams” - that didn’t age well
DEZ CAUGHT IT
0:13 why you do antonio brown like that
You went from being right about the Rams, to wrong, and now back to right. Next year you'll continue to be right.
I'm not so sure about that
So does this mean if someone says run a 8 then you would post?
Not necessarily, each team has their own playbook with their own plays which they call by number which the quarterback has listed on his wristband. For my team the play call for post would be Fire 13 (fire is telling the offensive line what blocking scheme to run, and thirteen is telling the receivers what route to run). Each team has their own unique way of doing this, most likely with unique formation names as well.
Oliver In the Pros the QB would likely call call something like “Ace Slot right, 42, X Fly, Y Dig, Z Slant”
In this system, Ace slot right is the formation, 42 is the signal to the blockers (could include TEs and RBs) and each of the following is a route. X,Y,and Z are the different receivers and each route is assigned differently. Usually the team will call two plays in the huddle and if you hear a QB yell “Kill Kill!” It is the offense moving to the second play given.
Different systems have different ways of calling plays, to the extent that a player under Jon Gruden for example, and one under Pete Carroll would not likely be able to call plays for each other’s teams. It’s like a completely different language.
Although what the other 2 commenters said is perfect, as far as I know in terms of practice situations or backyard football, yes, an 8 is a post. V often at my practice my QB will just tell me, "run a 6", which is an in route for me. Try not to use these on the field cos almost every corner and players on the field will know what you mean. Usually a play is named something which implies a certain combination of routes. That's why you gotta know your playbook.
the (postGoff)Rams chance to not suck is tomorrow
My brains the size of a pea so this will take me awhile to memorize.
Emy Nguyen yea I have training tomorrow and I only know like 3 of them
Bo0t3m D0wN U will get it down soon enough!
Emy Nguyen thx I’m trying
@@bo0t3md0wn7 Di you ever memorize all of them after 2 years
Root Tree
The comment at the end of this video about the Rams, is now invalid lol. 4-0 baby!
Had to show this to my friend he thinks a slant is a post
Bruh
Does he know any route like chair stop and go curl streak fade corner post
This is an instructional video. It pertains to pass routes and catching passes. The Rams performed those skills to perfection. Why pick on that franchise? IJS
Chris Green look when the Video was made they was the worst offense last season and now McVay turned them completely around!
Dez broke the first rule of receiving, catch the ball first. Cowboys could have punched it in from there & gone on to get beat the next week. Lol 😂 I feel for Cowboys fans, especially in 2020.
yo good joke about the rams offense they do suck
James Curran not anymore
That rams joke didn’t age well at all
DEZ DID CATCH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
