Rules of the Nuzlocke Versus
1) You can only catch the first Pokemon encountered on every route or area.
2) If a Pokemon faints, it is considered dead and may not be used at any point of the game.
3) Every Pokemon must be nicknamed in order to form a strong bond with them. Any Pokemon without a nickname cannot be used until it gets one.
4) Speed up is entirely forbidden under every circumstance.
5) If speed up is used, the user must reload their last save state and continue from there.
6) When a player whites out, they must reload their last save state. If a player whites out a total of 3 times, he loses the nuzlocke.
7) Dragon Rage and Sonic-boom are not considered lethal until the player has obtained his second gym badge.
8) Softlocking results in disqualification. If both players softlock, the winner is decided by progress.
