If I remember correctly the dragonball Btk games were like that, they were to play with your friends and there was a story mode to unlock the characters. With sparkin zero I imagine it’s the same but with PvP now. Also could be some form of mild depression effecting you with the game.

I say go to level 25. I forgot to mention there are a lot of double battles later in the game, but for some reason they’re all appearing early, so just be wary of that. And use exp codes, they work and will consume less time
