Love your outfit. You have the kind of attitude and approach towards luxury and fashion that I love. Creative, colorful, luxurious, not flashy or vulgar, very personal, very exclusive and playful! Love that! ❤
I have a few Goyard bags and I love the quality. Also have the mini Anjou in green and use it a lot. It’s super cute 😍 I love LV, Goyard and Celine canvas just as much. Goyard is the lightest and Celine is the thickest. All of them great quality in my opinion. But I live in a cold and dry weather country. Have a great day!
I love the clip you inserted where you embellished the red patent leather double flap of the *esluxy* because you can really see the red when you discuss it and it looks a bit orange. So pretty!! I’ve been looking for a blue gradient color
I'm obsessed with my Herbag and it was definitely worth the price for me. It let me try a "Kelly" similar bag and see if I would like it. It's also not as common where I live, so it's nice to still be considered understated. Plus, I ADORE it for travel, so convenient. You can also take it apart and wash it :)
I have a blue Goyard Artois tote and I absolutely love it and recommend it. It’s so fun and colorful🤗💙 I prefer it much more than the St Louis because the leather edges add a lot more structure and I love having a zip, even though I leave it unzipped most of the time. In boutique it wasn’t much more than the St Louis either! I think you would love one Jess 🤗
I really love your taste and style always so chic. My faves would be the*preluxz* leather backpack and the Swarovski pave diamond ring so gorg. Thank you for your recommendations.
I ❤ Goyard until I touched them. Felt like an iKEA bag. I went back to their boutique a few years later and still couldn’t talk myself into it. Plus there are reviews on RUclips about cracking handles. Maybe I’ll talk myself into a Mini Anjou but not soon. Love the bow in your hair! 🎀
i have a St Louis tote, a hobo and a mini anjou from Goyard. LV canvas is definitely more durable but less fun. people make the mistake to use the basic tote as a work bag and it cannot carry a lot of weight it was designed as a beach tote for a towel and swimsuit. you wear the cotton inside to the beach with the coated canvas outside to repel dirt and then once you swam you turn the bag inside out so the coated canvas is inside protecting the bag from your wet stuff.
Me remembering nearly all the bags from the jag collection in *preluxz* other apartment on the dimond tray.. I think i watched that video like 40 times. Purse collection goals.
I love the Goyard print and hope to get a notebook cover one day. Love all my LV canvas pieces but I do stay away from anything with a flap. I’m tired of the corners bending outwards or up. Love your Hermes bag, that blue green color way is lovely. Herve Chapelier also has some lovely canvas that has a pebbled leather like appearance.
I clearly prefer Goyard, as a brand much more luxuries then LV. But the Goyard canvas is very thin/ flimsy and the shoulder/hand straps are way too thin, if you put anything semi heavy, in the bag the straps wear out extremely fast and break. Also the Goyard canvas wears VERY badly especially on corner areas, where LV is harder wearing. Hermes cotton canvas, fates too fast, they would benefit from, either being a polyester mix or all polyester. Paying USD $13.000 for a HAC bag in cotton canvas with leather trim, is a mistake one only makes once! They should make it, like the inside of the old style Herbag, kind of wax coated, to protect colour and give it more water and wear protection.
I love handbags and jewelry the most. I have a Coco Handle in caramel and a *esluxy* in red. I really like the red dumpling bag and the purple bag. I would love to see how you pair them even if you never wear them.
Look at it this way , How many Vintage LV canvas bags are still to this day available in good shape , Compared to vintage Goyard canvas bags do you still see??
I know wealthy women who carry replicas. The main reason they gave is that they just understand the value of money and don't want to spend too much money on bags...so more people choose fashionable *gtdupe* bags. However, they do spend a lot of money on fine jewelry and other things
I have a Chanel lambskin square pearl bag and a Chanel handbag but my lambskin square petal bag I have worn 2 times and I am very careful but somehow still has small scratches on the leather and the gold on the clasp. I don’t know what happened but I paid over $3,000 for it a few years ago and I am upset that it already has scratches. No one notices now but I notice the price I paid for it. I’m saving up to buy another *esluxy* bag now that I won’t be paying full price anymore.
Goyard’s hard-sided pieces are beautiful. Any soft piece that doesn’t include a substantial amount of leather trim looks really cheap and flimsy to me.
I'm a fan of canvas bags and have pieces from every house you mentioned except Goyard and Burberry. As far as coated canvas, (I think untreated cotton canvas is a different animal altogether) I'll stick to LV for overall versatility and longevity. Their canvas is soft and pliable and holds up to just about anything. The Celine canvas is nice and pliable too, a bit thicker than the LV, but I'm not sure how it will wear over time. I bought a cosmetic case in the white canvas so I'm waiting to see if it yellows or fades. So far I'm happy with the quality. If you want a very thick and hardwearing canvas I would go with Faure Le Page. Their canvas print is pleasing aesthetically and excellent quality. I live in NYC and see the Goyard canvas EVERYWHERE, much more than LV, and I can say for a fact that it wears horribly. The threads on the leather trim start to unravel, the canvas print fades and chips, it ain't pretty. I know people will say that this isn't the case, but if they are actually using the bag as an everyday item and not babying it then it will eventually end up this way. Just as an aside, the reason the old LV canvas is so much thicker is because they changed the formulation of the coating some years back. The old coating contained carcinogenic substances. This is also why the old canvas tended to crack more with time.
It's all subjective. Hermes canvas doesn't seem to stand out in any way to me aesthetically and the prices are laughable. LV prices for canvas are more of a giggle compared to what Hermes is asking.
This is my first time watching your video and I loved it. I don't purchase luxury bags and I probably never will, or if I do, it will be pre-loved. But I do buy *jklux* occasionally of the styles that I really like. I truly appreciate your comparisons here, which have helped me make a decision about a couple for which I was on the fence. I'll be pulling the trigger now. Thanks for this and your humor.
Goyard is lovely but it does not hold up to the lv canvas. It’s softer and slouchy which is lovely but not when it rips easily and does not last. Will stay with my lv canvas.
Jess, the Labubu bag charm on your Her bag is amazing 🤩 I thought only I was into putting them on designer handbags aside from people in Asia 😂 I’m so obsessed
I researched a few brands before I landed on the Moreau tote. I think it is so far the best canvas tote I have. Stores are limited so you have to reach out to a store to buy direct and they do ship. But the quality for the price point seems exceptional thus far.
I have Rioni bags. They're really nice in terms of quality. I've had some for many years. Some are a bit heavy. I just got a wallet. That one is slim, lightweight and feels really good to the touch.
Canvas coated canvas all good. But what are you using it for? I’ve got some great LV pieces that are thick and structured. My 30 year old Drout Vachetta bottom Stands on it’s own. cross body bag Then I have a recent mini Pouchette 2018 squishy, canvas
I have a 1985 LV monogram canvas bag. Canvas is still holding up and looks brand new. The leather was pretty much trashed and I had to pay to have it restored. FWIW.
Hi Jess! I don't think I would buy non leather in Hermes. But I would in LV depending on the style. I really like just the Speedy and Neverfull. The classics. I also like the Goyard Artois. I don't care for Burberry much, but the Celine bag you showed was prwtty nice. LV is king of the coated canvas I guess! ❤❤❤
Goyard is the new Neverfull. I have seen this bag everywhere in airports. I don’t view Goyard as luxurious bag. It is expensive, but nothing luxurious feature in their canvas bags.
Hey Jess, what do you think of Fauré Le Page canvas? Y'all have a location in Australia, yes? I haven't bought anything from them yet. I love coated canvas in general for it's weight to strength ratio.
What I do find odd is that the hardware tarneses /rubs off on a £2k lv bag, but doesnt on a £5 primark bag. Why is that? I got a speedy bandolier from louis in January and the SA told me it would only last 5yrs and recommended a leather one. I was a bit shocked and assumed he was just trying to sell the higher valued bag as I always though the canvas bags are durable. Im starting to rethink it now 😢 Ive only used it once so far so would be gutted if it only lasts another 4.5yrs. I didnt get it to be over precious with
LV hardware has been terrible for years. I agree even my oldest, cheapest no-name bags have no HW problems like LV’s!(?) LV Associates get higher commission on leather products these days, so expect them always to recommend the “leather version” of any bag. Don’t worry about getting the canvas!
IMO Godard Canvas is thinner than LV so it’s not recommended to put many items inside (specially in tote bags) I rather LV coated canvas. Definitely LOVE Hermes Canvas
A friend is a collector of Goyard and she swears by it. I’ve heard others complaint about the color runs on some of the bags but she had no issues with them in all the colors she has.

@@jeanettenfreeland1408the St Louis is the Goyard tote that’s very popular but it doesn’t have any leather. It’s cute but very slouchy.
