For the record: I'd give anything to watch one of those Hans Zimmer's concerts
I went, and it was the absolute best concert I have ever heard.
Highly recommended.
I was in Germany twice, on one of them he played purple rain as a tribute to prince. Never had 2h constant goosebumbs in my entire life. I cannot describe how awesome this was
What John Williams was in the 80s and 90s, Zimmer is for the early 2000s. The man is an absolute legend. Even though a lot of his themes remind of each other, he has a feeling for music and how it makes a scene in a movie, that not many composers have.
Me too....
Lucas Ferreira about £60 should do it
10:30 Hans is like: “Damn I love myself for making this.” We love u too Hans
Yes
It's actually quite important to be proud of your own work.
The feeling of Accomplishment is good
I love!!!! is amazing! the best moment!
It wasn't him tho. Not the main theme at least.
A true artist takes and brings joy with his work. Zimmer is another of the modern classical composers whose works will go down in history alongside Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, and Williams.
RXN54 Yes it was. Look up the interview with Hans Zimmer for pirates of the Caribbean. He wrote 99% of the score over one night, but because he was working on another movie at the time, Klaus did the recording of it. Also listen to the gladiator theme “the battle” around 6 min in, it so similar to this part
The passion with which that woman is playing , omg hats off !!!
Totally agree
Ikr I love this..
She gives me chills. Such a badass woman!
This level of passion is beyond believe! Amazing to watch!
She is Tina Gou
Johnny Depp will always be Pirates of the Caribbean heart and soul.
Always
No one can replace him
💯💯💯
Yes❤️
Yup!
The expression on Hans' face when "He's a pirate" starts is priceless... It's probably the best piece of music he has ever written.
Its the definition of epic. It's so fucking powerful it's absolutely insane. Just look at him, he knows it. He's well aware of the fact that no one will ever make such a strong masterpiece. Truly is one of a kind..
Actually, it's the work of Klaus Badelt who scored the first Pirates movie. Hans advised him yes, but it was Badelt who made the title theme itself. Hans did an amazing job on the other Pirates movies nonetheless
INTERSTELLAR, but this is arguable too since I find myself coming back to this video for the feeling the music gives.
Mathias Jakobsen Yup! But none of them top that first soundtrack.
It's not his piece though.
For anyone hearing these for the first time, and wondering what that weird feeling is... you just got Zimmered.. thats what that is
MrVesimelooni first time yep got me goosebumps..
MrVesimelooni Haha love it. But seriously tho if it's your first time! Brace!! He will move you too tears 😍😭😍😭😍😭😍
Got zimmered into crying
Which is his best theme?
DAMN RIGHT! Pulls at heart strings man.
That violinist is vibing so hard up there, can you imagine the high she must be feeling playing that masterpiece, surrounded by incredible musicians and Hans Zimmer smiling at her? You fucking go, girl.
Her name is Rusanda Panfili. World acclaimed Violinist
I was wondering why he only called out the cellist... Blown away by the violinist!!
I bet they're doing it. 😂
@@janinak.7361 probably cause Tina(the cellist) was the soloist through the whole performance(and it is a freaking long solo lol)
But I totally agree that the violinists were AMAZING. As an amateur violin player, I’m just blown away at what she does…
Btw Tina is faking things but rusanda's doing great
"That's got to be the best composer I've ever seen!"
"... So it would seem."
10:30
The Master at work xD
Lets not only appreciate Hans Zimmer but also, lets appreciate the musicians playing in the orchestra, really beautiful
O Face that’s true
Crushed.
Yes Tina is amazing!
Hard work pays...but leader is the one gives the Direction....and is most important aspect in the world...take Elon Musk as example.
KTS Yes anyone can play but coming out with melodies like that isn’t a piece of cake.
10:30 And there's the proud composer of this theme. His smile says it all.
To Hans Zimmer...
Love from India ❤️
The theme He's a pirate from 10:30 is actually composed by Klaus Bladelt who composed the first film. Nontheless Hans Zimmer created masterpieces with the rest of the films and created a nice bridge towards the theme from the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie.
@@Rietje90 👍
Rietje90 although it was composed by klaus, it was actually written by zimmer
@@Rietje90 Written and composed by Hans Zimmer. Credits to his student as he was busy in composing a different Film
@@thebatman1483 Thank you for the information. I didn't know he was his student!
Hear me out, In some years or decades when Hans Zimmer is dead he is gonna be remembered as a great and the compositor of this century, just like Beethoven or Mozart
Absolute master! 🙌🏼
5:22 OMG 😭
This entire medley is so amazingly beautiful! ❤
9:40 The guy with flute and hat is the best part. Living life
up is down is THE masterpiece, pity that the climax ain't performed, which IMHO was the best part hhha
That is a piccolo my friend
Mi phone ringtone!
Thats a dude
He even salute at the end...HAHAHAHAH
Hanz Zimmer is just a total genius. He's the Mozart of 21th century. DAMN !
Seth Shannon Totally agree my man!!!
Seth Shannon No he's the Hans Zimmer of the 21st Century. They're both geniuses in their own ways and time periods.
Seth Shannon No one can beat John Williams though
Hear hear. Well said
disagree totally different beasts
Hans zimmer’s music has made me feel emotions I didn’t even know of, that man is pure magic. Thank u for this masterpieces, they hit right in the soul
I just want to be as happy as Hans Zimmer playing pirates of the caribbean
This makes me want to watch the whole franchise over again
Totally true. I watched it again
Just did that’s why I am here 😂
Starting tomorrow
starting tomorrow (1)
Ive done it already
It's interesting how the accordion so easily makes us relate to the golden age of piracy, while the instrument itself wasn't invented until the 19th century.
Olle Forsberg What instrument
alexander gosvig the guitar
rayukk ok
An interesting anachronism!
As a 3X World Accordion Champion, I concur and was thinking about this JUST This afternoon unrelated to Hanz.
4:21 - Heartwarming
4:58 - Become spellbound
5:23 - Goosebumps
5:53 - My goosebumps got goosebumps
6:24 - Eargasm
I can hear a lot of gladiator's theme in pirates ..and I love it!
5:53 damn i can eat spaghetti with this melody and it still will be epic
I think exactly the same as you my friend.
This is art for our senses
6:57
I don't know why but I always become sad at this point.
7:57
My favourite part starts here.😍
Hans zimmer: "i can make a person fall in love with something"
You did!!!😭😭😍😍😍
10:40 Hans - "Yep, I composed the greatest, most recognised movie score of all time".
*ahem* star wars
It's great but I wouldt say it's the most recognised film music of all time. I'd have to agree with the comment above, that's star wars
Ahem avengers
Adithya Sudheer nope. no where near as many people would recognize the avengers
@@mansamusa8191 youd be surprised. Everyone in the world knows the avengers theme song. Star wars is popular, yes. But its mkst popular in America and other English speaking countries. Star wars is widly unknown in places like asia. But everybody knows the avengers. You can see how hyoed the get when they listen to it
I feel sorry for anyone who doesn't have the patience to listen to the entire piece. This is just unbelievable. Hans you are a god.
Even better yet is that he didn't have all the layers he did in the recordings and it still is absolutely amazing. I can't say enough about how amazing Hans is at writing music.
I had a massive speech but, I just can't type it. This is a master piece I just can't find the words to express how I'm holding back the tears from taking me back to my favourite films.
I was looking for this comment.
Couldn’t of said better myself
Ok i am done with my current life. Now i am building a ship, arranging a crew and setting sail blasting this beautiful piece of music in full volume
I cannot begin to imagine how awesome it'd feel to be on that stage playing during the intense parts of the music.
During any part of this music... It's intense from the start
So much fun!
Everyone did such a fantastic job! I love the classical/rock feeling throughout the video.
Out of curiosity, did you learn the songs by reading sheet music or by ear? (although I suppose it'd be Extremely difficult to learn all of this by ear.)
Tina Guo You are an absolute genius, Tina. Thank you for sharing your talents with the world.
yessssss you made it to here to comment!! Well, have fun reading what all the people think wich is very very good!!!! thanks for joining Hans give him and hug and cya next year jun in paris!
Tina Guo mam u rocked.......respect.....love from india.....m ur huge fan seeing after this
Loved seeing you all in Antwerp this year !!
Legends state Aliens replay this concert every year to not destroy humanity
😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂
Why is this comment underrated 😂😂
The Legend be True lol
😂😂😂😂
The way the violinist looks at Hans Zimmer at 10:35 .. Looks like her way of saying Thank You.
there's some kind of magic behind music. Hans Zimmer's compositions are out of this world. this man is one of the music treasures of our time.
Amazing. I would like to be at his concert one day.
Solo Cellist is fierce AF. This arrangement is just crazy. To put all of these instruments on a stage and use each of them to add the perfect amount of depth and interest is purely amazing. The players made sure to put just enough in as well. The electric guitar could’ve wailed, but only the basic tone comes through and adds edge when playing in unison with the others. Beautiful.
she is the reason for wonder woman theme
Thats Tina Guo, she ahas an entire album of video game music orchestral covers, its really good
I thought it was a bass
9:21 "Up is Down" My favorite track
absolutely!! searched the whole internet trying to find a full version of orchestral performance of it and failed...hhh but this video is a bliss already =)
We r rokin d ship
What's that over there....where???...

The love theme for pirates of the Caribbean is amazing 🥲 the musicians are feeling that part sooo hard emotionally you can tell… I saw this concert live twice and dude it was amazing 🥲

4:21 Romantic...

Thanks for this small compilation!
@@clairemartin4967 Jack Sparrow Theme
I’m pretty sure One Day starts at 4:21
When it all kicks off at 10:28 is the best feeling. Such a powerhouse of a theme. WOW.
Yes it is
From 6th min it's crysis 2 theme from the game he composed. Such bad as melody.
Yeah❤️
did anyone else shed a tear of joy to how beautiful and well done this is? i had no clue pirates of the carribean could go this hard. no words. hans is a god. all hail lord hans
i could not help but cry like a little kid................
Me too
Idk how but music somehow made me shed some tear.......
Yep. The end of the world part kills a normal feeling being in my eyes. Such a great tune with the violins, the cello and also the electric guitars. Total genius madness
Hans Zimmer is an absolute genius, and a gift to humanity!
Disney: Okay so it's a movie based on a pirate ride. Do the soundtrack, nothing crazy.
Hans Zimmer: *composed one of the most recognized movie scores*
10:29 His smile makes my heart melt. He's a legend
The music itself speaks a fairytale. Almost like the story of Jack Sparrow even if you haven't watched the movie. Starts with comedy, then there is an intense emotional period with elements of positivity, comedy and anger but where things change and then a sacrifice. There is acceptance to what has happened but a plot to come back is charted. The tale culminates with the victory of the protagonists.
underrated comment my friend.. well said.
awesome
Thank you so much to translate what I'm listening and feeling
Genius, pure genius.
Well, the first song is called Jack Sparrow :)
The day when Johnny Depp win his case over Amber Turd we must play this outside the courts

YESSSSS!!!!!
Woke culture is cancer and America is infected by it badly..so that day will never come
7:54 True masterpiece gives me goosebumps all the time #hatsoff Hans Zimmer!!!
10:28 daaammmnnnn 😭😭
I’ve rewatch the whole franchise during this lockdown and it was magnificent! The music ! Oh my god THE MUSIC! thank you Hans
O sea sí pero la obra no es de él. Quizá el arreglo, pero no la composición.
.....what can you say........I have been blessed to hear this Live..TWICE....this is a truly beautiful arrangement, full of emotion, and the passion displayed by the musicians is epic!
I know a lot of people are focusing on the cellist (Tina), but when I watch this, I love the passion that the violinists (Rusanda and Ann Marie) bring to the performance.
How DARE you put ads in this!!!! 🤬
It sucks with ads
Fore money lol

You're 22 now?
This was added 4 years ago but still plays a vital role in my mind
once in a while i come back here to hear these when im having a tough time. The feeling i get from hans zimmer is from out of this world...
Was in Munich. This was by far my favorite part of the concert. When "Jack Sparrow" started playing I just couldn't stop shaking anymore and I was close to crying in joy.
going to his concert in norway may 20th... im sure im gonna cry trough the whole show, but especially at this song
how was it?
It's 2019 and still I haven't heard anything better than this.
Indubitably
pirates of the caribbean is THE epitome of hollywoods's best work IMHO from any facet, especially from scores. Just can't top it
@@yanxiaosun4363 um the avengers theme song
I totally love MCU! But I think they're different categories, and Hans Zimmer should've scored for avengers series to make it even better.
You won't... Just saying! 😒
Man that proud smile 10:34 chills me every time....kudoos to all....
I love the fact that Hans Zimmer is himself enjoying his music so much. ❤️ We love you Hans.
in past they had bethoveen we have hans zimmer
beethoven first, hans zimmer is second....I agree!!! both are genius!
But in live yanni is too good ...
Noah Key Hans Zimmer ain't deaf, Beethoven is, and he played music he made himself by just feeling the vibrations on the floor.
Beethoven beats Hans by a lot.
Beethoven = German
Hans Zimmer = German
@@danielawesome36 Beethoven might be more talented but he never composed 'one day'. Zimmer feels superior tbh.
Tina Guo plays like she is the cello, it's like she's being strung, totally transcended. it's beautiful to watch
The moment you become one with your instrument and feel every note , is sublime and people can see that and most imortantly feel it
thats what i was about to reply... Cheerz man!
I'm late, i know... but: thank god there are people on this planet who can create something like this! wow!
Those girls on the violins and electric cello, pure beauty! 😍😍😍
And Hans Zimmer plays the piano for fun.
Deponensvogel lmao
Saw him live yesterday. Bloody brilliant!
You are blessed!!!!
I'm so very jealous
Best thing I've ever seen/heared: The Lord of the Rings 2 and 3 live movies (watching the movies but the soundtrack is played live on the stage under the screen in the arena), and the live movies of Hans Zimmer, the one he recorded in Prague last year.
Best. Eargasms. Ever.
You're SOOO lucky. I'm jelous!!!!
you are so lucky!
January 2021 : I'm always in love with all of them
6:55 to 7:55 is pure soul touching music.
Hans zimmer what a genius
At 07:55 a great part starts too
10:28 levels of badassery no one else will ever reach
Felix H. Literally nothing comes close
The one and only HZ !!! I don't care how many times it has been recycled or where it was originally from. Still one of the best BGM ever made.
How can someone dislike a video where "One Day" is playing? This song is an absolute masterpiece.
Hans did say he was mostly proud of that piece....
i like classical music but, Hans Zimmer totally blows me away. I just dont have the words to express my admiration for this genius.
One thing I love about Hans Zimmer, besides that his music is incredible, but he isnt just standing at the front with a wand and waving it around. He is fully INVOLVED in the entire process, playing piano, guitar, even bass occasionally, and running sound. The entire event would be different without his presence
I was at the concert in Rotterdam. Fantastic. Hans, du bist wunderbar, deine Muzik ist einfach genial!
Is this from earth? This is unbelievable...
Just musicporn

It's so interesting that he captured this "pirate" sound. I didn't even know a pirate had a sound until these movies lol.
Chills over my entire body for 12:43min. My favorite composer EVER. As a filmmaker, I hope to work with someone that has the slightest ounce of what Hans has, but I realize that’s probably impossible. A legend.
This is my favorite recording, because it is obvious that Zimmer told them that other than playing their role right, just enjoy the music whatever way they like.
