I just bought one and now for whatever stupid reason the controls are now white copy on light gold background making it impossible to read. I also read where the heating is very uneven. I returned it for a cheaper Presto griddle and it is awesome.
That cooking surface is non stick ceramic. It should not need to be pre seasoned with anything, no matter what the instructions say. As for the backsplash, using a pair of pliers, carefully squeeze the tabs together and it will hold onto the back very well. Also, try cooking your bacon in the oven. I will never again cook bacon in a pan, or griddle.

Good video. Make more!
I was told this griddle is dishwasher safe. I haven't put mine in there yet. Not sure if I will but I'd like to know if it is actually ok to do so
I think you can. I prefer hand washing mine.

Thanks for the feedback!
Good review 🎉😊 ty
be careful, but you could bend the clips in a little bit.
Thank you!
I googled because I have this exact issue right now with the backsplash. I’m glad it’s not just me!
Backsplash meaning getting hit with oil..? This will happen on any griddle
No this griddle has an actual backsplash piece that goes on the back. I’m aware splashing happens.
