Hey man thanks for this review. All the amazon reviews were so mixed and conflicting it was nice to see an actual cooking demo that had some knowledge behind it. This review is steering me to this unit. Going to do a little more research. Thanks!
I'm glad it helped! Even though I haven't filmed another recipe with it yet, I plan to too. I still use it quite a bit and still like it. I also still think its overpriced. If you find it at $100 or less, go for it:)
Thanks for the excellent review. I am going to buy one based on this review and the recommendation from America's Test Kitchen. By the way, what brand of spatula are you using?
Always been tempted to get one of these griddles but am kind of "On the fence" about purchasing one! Your breakfast looked really good too! Have you ever checked out Phyllis Stokes video's?? you and her have a lot in common!!
If you had raised the back legs some/more would the oil have drained better into that one hole? Your counter, or is the grill that uneven to flow out so wonky? Also get a better wide and flat spatula. Thats too wimpy for omlettes & pancakes.
yes... and I know what some of them are saying. But they were NOT deal breakers for me. Overall, I still like it and use it practically everyday. Its better, bigger, and more consistent than the cheaper models...but still over priced imo. If you can get it under $100 its worth it. I've actually used metal utensils from time to time(which I shouldn't) with no affects to the surface. Have no idea what's out there on the market today, but if it burned out tomorrow, id probably buy another. just saying...lol. Thanks for checking out my channel!

Ty! That's an Oneida spatula and I really like it. Unfortunately they don't seem to make it anymore and can not find anywhere to buy another one :(
6 months later how is thos griddle treating you?
Seems longer than 6 months..I use it a lot..lol. but its still doing its thing. no complaints so far.
Made in USA. I'll pay more for that.

Mine cooks a whole Lb of bacon but they're full strips.

Nice Job on the review! You need to get silicon tipped tongs to keep from scratching the surface which doesn't appear to be very thick!
Is it non stick?
Update? Is it still going strong?
397° vs. 316° at opposite corner? temperature wise doesn't matter it's basically how your food looks? Can someone help me out here?
May have been the measuring tool because the heating is very uniform!
Did you really have to show that drain at 1:05, took away the whole ambiance of a kitchen.
Go watch a kitchen video if that's what you're looking for!
Don't be afraid to grill those hash browns in bacon grease! Much healthier than that oil you are using for you!
Good demo! Thank you!
Are you still liking your Broil King griddle? How is the non stick surface holding up?
Doing a bit of boozing there are ya?
OMG very bad reviews from Amazon customers.
