- First thing to do when getting a new sanitation is digging a test pit. This way the municipality can decide what the groundwater level is and give directions on what kind of sanitation system to use.

I was thinking of one of these for a cellar dig do you think it might be possible to swap the petrol motor for an electric one, i'm guessing the motor mounts into the hydraulic pump via spline shaft or something similar?..
Hi! The electric conversion is probably no so hard to do BUT I would newer consider using this in a cellar. It is not very easy to maneuver and the loading height is quite low (1 meter) so it would be hard to get the material out. Since this video was made I have had 2 real mini excavators and the Kellfri digger just can’t compare to them. My advice would be to rent a electric mini excavator or use a regular one with some way of getting the exhaust fumes out of there.

Ich habe diesen Bagger seit zwei jahre. Nie habe ich mit dem intensive gearbeitet. Diese Jahr sollte er endlich zeigen ob er die Vorgaben des Herstellers gerecht wird!
Der Bagger hat ein Jiang Dong Motor. Es ist ein Honda Motor den die Chinesen in Lizenz bauen.
Sollte erst einmal recht gut sein. Aber nein, seit dem ersten Tag hatte ich Ärger mit dem anspringen. Wenn man an dem Zugseil 10 bis 20 mal ziehen muss, damit dieser Motor läuft graust man sich schon vor dem Gebrauch dieser Maschine.
Zusammen geschweißt wurde der Bagger in Italien. Scheinbar hat man minderwertigen Stahl benutzt!?!?
Das arbeiten: Das was der Bagger in dem Video arbeitet, ist kein Arbeiten, es ist Spielerei. Dafür brauche ich keinen solchen Bagger, das mache ich mit einer Schaufel.
Bei mir im Boden sind Steine und Wurzel von Bäumen. Seine Kraft ist gut. Der Motor mit ca 9 PS reicht, aber warum ein Benziner? Es gibt gute und preiswertere kleine Diesel Motore die mit etwas weniger Power die selbe Arbeit machen könnte. Dann sollte es eine Wahl geben, denn diesen Jiang Dong Motor, gibt es auch mit elektrischen Starter. Hätte ich sofort geordert!
Nun aber zu der Metall Konstruktionen, der vordere Vierkant Holträger, ist bei der ersten stärkeren Würzel über die gesammte untere Kante aufgerissen. Damit haben sich die vorderen zwei abstützungen so verdreht, das er mit dem unteren hydraulik Zylinder im Dreck lag und keinerlei zuendearbeiten mehr möglich gewesen ist.
Eine reperatur des Trägers ist möglich, aber das rausschneiden des alten Trägers, ist nicht auf der schnelle möglich. Versteifungsbleche und die beiden Riffelblech links und rechts sind ebenfalls verzogen gewesen.
Ich habe den vorderen Träger neu eingeschweißt und zusätzlich noch zwei Längstträger aussen unter die Querträger verschweißt. Somit ist nun der vordere Träger mit dem hinteren verbunden, was etwas mehr Stabilität bringt. Das Riffelblech habe ich nun, bis über die neuen längst Träger gezogen. Die Bleche wurden dann im Rechten Winkel abgekanntet und auch mit den neuen zwei aussen Träger verschweißt. Eine merkliche Stabilität ist nun spürbar!
Der Grund für den Aufwand, die beiden Stelzen lings und rechts, halten beim Arbeiten den Bagger nicht auf der Stelle. Der Bagger ist zu leicht und beim Graben rutscht man mit dem Bagger immer mehr nach vorne. Somit werde ich dem Bagger, ein kleines schiebeschild anbauen. Dieses Schild wird hydraulisch betätigt. Ich denke das dieses Schild den Bagger besser abstürzt und ihm auch auf der Stelle halten wird!
So ist dieser Bagger nur zum buddeln im Ostseestrand gut!
Hallo! Ich sprachen nur ein bisschen deutsch so ich habe nicht alles verstanden. Du hast Problem die motor zu starten? Mein Motor war leicht zu starten, aber die Maschine hat große Mängel. Wenn Sie damit Gräben oder Rohrgräben graben und den Graben begrenzen können, ist dies möglicherweise gut, da sonst ein Allround-Bagger um ein Vielfaches besser ist. Sie können damit keine große Grube graben, da die Beine im Weg sind, sodass Sie Gefahr laufen, zusammenzustoßen. Sie können keine Karren damit beladen. Die Bewegung dauert lange und die scharfen Stützbeine bohren große Löcher in den Boden. Ich hatte definitiv keine ähnliche Maschine mehr gekauft. Es brach jedoch nicht (außer dem mit der Mutter, die in die Absaugung ging), so dass es nicht schlecht ist. Wenn Sie immer noch der Meinung sind, dass ein Anhänger und ein Bagger eine gute Idee sind (die zum Beispiel geborgen werden können), empfehle ich eine gebrauchte Maschine der Marke Digger 50 oder Hydrovåg 10 alt 16, bessere Qualität und bessere Lösungen. Ich habe jetzt die Maschine zuerst gegen einen Bobcat 316 und dann gegen einen größeren Komatsu PC 16 ausgetauscht. Sie können in keiner Weise mit Kellfri-Trümmerbaggern verglichen werden! I had bought the excavator in Germany and had it sent to southern Sweden. the price was actually around 4000 €. but the steel in Italy is not good (prove eg FIAT). It should not be the case that a knock-out player tears open lengthwise. It should only get a root about 3cm thick out of the ground so that I can cut it off. I've had this excavator for two years. I have never worked intensively with him. This year it should finally show whether it meets the manufacturer's specifications!
The excavator has a Jiang Dong engine. It is a Honda engine that the Chinese build under license.

In my soil (in Sweden), there are stones and roots from trees. His strength is good. The engine with about 9 HP is enough, but why a gasoline engine? There are good and cheaper small diesel engines, these engines, with a little less power they can do the same job. It is possible to repair (replace) the carrier, but it is not possible to cut out the old carrier quickly. Stiffening plates and the two checker plates, left and right, were also warped.
I re-welded the front beam and additionally welded two longitudinal beams (square wood profile 3x5 cm x 1.2 meters long) outside under the cross beams. The front carrier is now connected to the rear, which brings a little more stability. I have now pulled the checker plate over the new beams. The sheets were then taped off at a right angle and also welded to the new two outer supports. A noticeable stability is now noticeable!
The reason for the effort, the two stilts right and left, does not keep the excavator in place when working. The excavator is too light and when digging, the excavator is sliding forward more and more. So I will add a small sliding plate to the excavator. This sign is operated hydraulically. I think this sign will better crash the excavator and keep it on the spot!
In its original condition, this excavator is only good for digging on the Baltic Sea beach!
รัก ThMMey I live close to Uppsala, in the middle of Sweden, I had a lot of ideas on how to improve the digger but found the concept lacking and decided to sell it and buy a real mini excavator. It was more money but I got it all back when I sold it and bought a even bigger one. Hopefully I will get my money back on that one too. It is cool that you improved the Kellfri, i guess you have seen what Metsaman has done with his digger? Regards Nils

It is mounted on rubber bushings to reduce vibration.

Ja vad tycker jag om Kellfrin.... OM man ska använda den till att gräva diken eller rörgravar och man kan gränsla diket så kan den kanske vara bra annars så är en runtomsvängande grävare många gånger bättre. Man kan inte gräva en stor grop med den för benen är i vägen så man riskerar att rasa ner, man kan inte lasta kärror med den, det tar lång tid att förflytta sig och de vassa stödbenen gör jättestora hål i marken. Jag hade definitvt INTE köpt en likadan maskin igen. Dock så gick den inte sönder (förrutom det där med muttern som gick in i insuget) så helt dålig är den inte. Om man ändå tycker att en släp o has grävare är en bra ide (som går att bärga tex) så rekomenderar jag en begagnad maskin av märket Digger 50 eller Hydrovåg 10 alt 16, bättre kvalitet och lösningar.

@@antwnhs3 Hej! Nej, det går antagligen inte alls så bra. Stödbenen är nämligen i vägen så du kommer inte åt längs med huset. Jag sålde den där grävaren för ett par år sedan och har haft vanlig minigrävare sedan dess. Skulle aldrig köpa en Kellfri grävare igen. En vanlig minigrävare är 100gg bättre på alla sätt!

@@NilsKall except for me breaking hoses it's okay. The fluid reservoir started leaking at the gooseneck/ where the boom is attached about 3yrs of use. But I'm not gentle on it. I added a 30 gallon 114 liter tank to solve that keeps the fluid cooler. And because I am in the hills I plugged the lower breather and extended the fill tube so I wouldn't get fluid loss from it. After adding the tank I ran the breather off the top and from back to front to back. I've used it on extremely steep grades, some are deemed cliffs. Steeper than 45°. I just broke one of the front stay/outrigger mount, but I was pulling up bushes that the guy with a mini dozer with backhoe couldn't pull out. So I'm still impressed I've owned it 7 years this March.

@@bullithedjames937 wow! A lot of work done to and with it! I only had mine for a few years and it didn’t really work well as a “garden” machine. But aside from the incident when the engine stoped and dad ruined a hose it worked well. Have you seen metsamans digger? He built a cab for it.

Their products are not real, rather toys like the real machines.
I bought one and it worked just several hours and Kellfri wouldn't take responsibility for the warranty. And practically there is NOT any authority that take your complaint as serious.
So it's easier to throw away the toy.

@Maddog worker It was OK for this job, it really is a machine for trenches and ditches. I will do a full review on it some day, perhaps this spring.
@Maddog worker then it could be a cost effective excavator for you. I needed something more versatile and upgraded to a much more expensive regular excavator.
