- On Mar 27 my 94 y/o mother decided it was time not to wake up (she died in her sleep, not Covid), on Apr 4 a dear friend left life as well (cancer).
Life is tough Richard, especially when loved ones & dear friends leave life. But that’s only tough on us, the survivors.
Keep your good memories of them in your heart. Cherish your good memories of them. Remember the good moments, the laughs, their love, the fun times you had with them.
Never forget them. That’s the best we can do for the ones who have left us. ❤️

I am so sorry for your loss. I know intimately the indescribable hurt of losing a loved one. You blink your eyes and realize how much time has passed while processing the loss. I was just thinking of you last night and sending a prayer out to the universe because I have been worried about you. I am so very very thankful that while bruised and worn, you are ok. I wish you so many blessings for the remainder of the year. I can’t wait to meet you when my husband and I move to Panama in the next few years. We have three old dogs who can’t make the move. Hey Rich, I watched your video from the Nomadic Movement Vlog and it had interest me to subscribe and see what your channel was all about. Im glad that I did because it was very interesting. I also would like to give my condolences to you of the passing of your friend 🙏🏼. Sounds like Panama is a really great place to visit but what about to live? I have a lot of questions but one in particular... snakes😳 I heard a lot of Boquete was a cool climate (which I like) and how beautiful it is . I want to take a trip there to see if I would like to live there but I am not a fan of snakes (especially venomous ones). What would you tell someone like me who is considering to move to Panama about wanting to living there as a resident! GOD's will on your expedition tours🙏🏼🙌🏼

As far as the snakes go, I have only seen one snake in my 3 years here, so I wouldn't pay that too much mind. It also depends on where you choose to reside if you move here. In Boquete where I'm based, I haven't encountered any!
I love being here in Panama, and I can see it being a base for me for a very very long time. I would recommend it highly to people, once expectations are managed. It's not a first world country, so things that go along with that. I grew up in a third-world country, so I know what things like dealing with government agencies etc are like. That aside, this place is pure paradise.
