This was a great review. He touched all the bases and explained things that people who were thinking about buying it want to know. I’m in the market for a scooter, and I found this extremely helpful. Thanks for your time and effort.
Best unboxing review on this product that I have seen. Thanks for posting.
Ive had mine for two weeks now. I attached it to a wheelchair. I have 56 miles on it so far and I am more than happy. I reccomend it for a starter scooter
I have been riding mine for my daily commute religiously for 2 years
Has been nothing but reliable... head light will need to be tightened every couple months or put some lock tight in it. You gotta adjust the brakes after awile jist saying that's annoying.... if you ride with the seat somthing in it will make it swivel amd not lock forward after a few months but it didn't bother me to much
I love it and this scooter has been nothing but a solid perches that's turned my commute to one of the most enjoyable parts of my day
I just ordered one yesterday after extensive research. Fits my needs. Just to let you guys know on the Amazon page of the reseller I bought from in the question and answer section and set to most recent on page 7 first question and Answer: "We are producing larger capacity batteries which will be available for sale shortly."-June 7, 2022. Now this was a post from the seller not sure if the person means the manufacturer is working on that. Awesome stuff if true. Also subbed. It's the battery technology that really needs to evolve and improve which there's a few that should already be replacing these ancient Lithium-Ion batteries. Also, thanks for the tip about the oil on the steering column.
I bought two of these back in 2021 one for me and my wife. We use these when we go camping in our RV and they are great for getting around the campsites and neghboring towns and shopping malls etc. I also use it to pull a Gorrilla Cart for collectin firewood for the fire pit. This thing will pull a full load of firewood with no problems at all. We bought lots of accessories such as mirrors, luggage racks, and water bottle holders. We have accumulated about 90 miles on them so far and one is just getting to where it will discharge faster than the other so i may be getting new batteries soon. but for the most part. Well worth the money. PS, no the one for pulling firewood still holds a charge just fine, Just thought I would throw that in.
Hi the battery died within month or not using the scooter it don’t charge anymore where can I buy one battery please ?
So cool, that's why I just bought one, I'm retired and travel with the RV, so figured this will be great to use in RV parks etc. Nice to hear it pulled a firewood cart!! I want to tow a cooler with it
I cant stand that finger throttle. Why would they create it like that? Thumb throttles make it much easier and safer to ride.
@@Brightestlightt do you leave it to charge overnight ?
I just got this scooter today and this video saved me!! I was going what the heck is happening on my first ride… then remembered your video… pulled it up then my buddy and I immediately rode to the bodega where they let us borrow some WD40, you are a hero for this vid
WD-40 collects dirt. Use silicone spray for a lubricant
Thanks for the review man. Was eyeballing a more expensive model but this one is on sale. I think it'd be sufficient for my needs.
Good point on the battery indicator. Don't go by the estimated range. Don't go by the battery percentage, go by the voltage. So if a scooter has 52V, at 100% it's probably around 58 volts on the read out and 0% is around 42 volts. This is just a very rough estimate. If you want accurate data, you have to measure your voltage when the battery is fully charge and then ride it until it starts to slow down, which means it's almost drained, and take note of the voltage readout there. It's not quite 0% but just note it as 0% anyhow, because you don't want to drain it far past 20%.
Thank you even though Walmart has changed the brand basically the same style scooter you help me decide what I wanted I can't do a lot of walking around a lot of standing I needed to school the way so I can sit down on it and you bought this one to my attention Bravo to you sir the new one he got is a little cheaper holes less weight but the standards are basically the same it has the right and left signal the lights everything it's just a little cheaper than the one that you bought on but it's basically the same scooter so thank you for showing me I'm buying this scooter in 2 days yippee
Your link is $100 cheaper than the one on Amazon. Thanks!
I have one and love it. Bought brand new in Tijuana from a bazaar with warranty $420 dollars. Love this scooter.
Aquí en Costa Rica son caros
I've been reading reviews about the battery dying halfway. I'm having the same issue. I contacted evercross and told them I also need a second key. I'm going to see if I can get some terrain tires installed because because I want to ride on grass and rocky areas. I installed a basket when I go buy groceries I can put it in the basket also I'm putting a storage rack on the back tire so my kids can stand in the back. I paid $600 at the pawn shop for it. It's pretty cool .
Got mine through an Insurance Claim (Distracted driver Hit me on Crosswalk). Loaded with leg braces now, this makes life easier than walking, and having the handlebars to hold onto for balance really helps! Unlike the ones that go really fast, this one does the job! Besides, I find 25km/hr (15mph) is a comfortable speed.
15 mph is very comfortable
It’s not the speed that buys you time. It’s the fact that you can zip through traffic-passing rows and rows of cars stuck at lights. Sidewalks (Allegedly). So even at 15mph, you still get where you’re going on under 5 minutes. After riding scooters, I find it amazing how the lights make the ride so slow in a car. And I find some lights are rediculous long. You have enough time to read the newspaper from cover to cover before it even considers changing back.
@@grazz7865 I can relate to that! Sometimes cars are waiting for ages until a Pedestrian appears and presses the Walk Button to make the lights turn green.
@@MatthewFordVictoria ha! I caught someone do that. The light was red for so long, the driver was able to write Shakespeare. Got out and pressed the walk button😂😂😂😂😂
Your review is amazing, almost done watching question where did you purchased your for $680 I need to purchased one asap. I'm impressed with the weight capacity 440lbs wow I'm 246lbs. OK let me continue to watch you rock Sir
I just bought myself one for Christmas. It’s pretty cool, but it’s just heavier and bigger than I thought.
My two main issues are the headlight won’t stay pointed straight, it keep dropping. Also, how do you get Cruise control? Sounds like you were only adjusting the zero start feature.
I got the 1st generation of this evercross and mine is still doing great I tske care of it, make sure every bolt is tightened, greased up etc. If you tske care of it , it'll do the same back. FYI. Evwr use the seat, it is not safe and unbalanced
Very very nice ,looks real beefy 🤠🤟⚡💪
1) SLIME for the tire tubes.
2) BLUE Loctite for various screws/bolts.
3) Slicone for the seams and cable entries within the main deck.
Why silicone on the cable entries
@@kingofyourhood To keep splash water out of the battery compartment. One could use gasket sealant, as well.
@@jb678901 mh good idea. Thanks for the idea. I wonder if that’s why my hover 1 stop working with a “error 6”
What’s the diameter of the handlebars on the tube area where you can slide the thing to collapse them? Is it the normal 22.2mm? Wondering if I’d be able to fit my Meachow bike mirror on it, but it only fits on 22.2mm bars…?
If you'd be willing to take some pics of the connections to/from the controller itd be a huge help, had to replace mine and didnt take pics before unplugging and now i cant figure out what goes to what. Thanks 👍🏽
Excellent mid-grade scooter. Built well and solid. Definitely a step up with the turn signals, horn and LED lights. Shocks on the front and back are a +++, however, as I said , it’s a mid-grade scooter. I wouldn’t jump curbs or go down stairs with it but the suspension makes a huge difference.
What scooter would u buy to go down stairs or off-road
@@zachpriest790 anything $1600 and over with the C-type dual suspension and dual motor will be good for off roading. I not a believer with the stairs. Tiny tires and too much abuse. Never going to last long if you put it through all that.
@@grazz7865 thanks very much
I jump curbs in my segway es1 lol i
I jumped 5 stairs on Spin scooter airless foam tires. Smooth
Thank you so much for a very detailed review! I have this very same model, new in box, sitting in my garage for 3 weeks! After watching your video, I feel more confident in, putting my scooter together and riding it😆👏🏼thank you 🥳
Did you tell us about the top speed? At your wight of225 how fast can it go?
Hi, do you know where I can buy the braking bloks?
Does anybody know if you can kick push ride these if the battery runs out?
I just bought this scooter how do you turn the kilometers an hour to miles per hour awesome video thank u
That’s a nice scooter bro good video
Thanks man! Yeah it’s a cheap little scooter with great qualities.
I’ve been thinking about getting one eventually there pretty cool
This e-scooter has a consistent problem with charging or just dying abruptly.
Oui Oui!
I was wondering if you was going to do 26 in saddles 😂 Joke looks like a Solid Scooter with plenty of Options Great Review 👍 time to throw a phantom 85 on it 😅 Lol Thanks for the Review
My question is I broke my charger for my evercross Can someone please tell me where I can order a new one from and show me the link please
The H5 or the G30d Ninebot. Which one is better?
Hi. Very good review.
I was wondering how much does the seat adjust? I’m 6’3 and I have big feet. Do you think this will accommodate me?
Following.
So how fast were you able to go in each mode
Just bought one and rode it to work and holy crap is it fast and fun
I love this e scooter. I have U.K. version called HITWAY H5. My only problem is that cruise control won’t work and if I hold the mode button down, the bright side lights should turn on and off, independently but it does nothing. So I simply have to switch on regular lights and the bright lights come on at same time. I’m over cruise control and the lights don’t bother me. I paid £414 and I’m very very happy. I get 26mph and at least 16mile range. More like 20 average. 1 of the best buys I’ve made. Just so fun and comfortable to ride and coming from an AovoPro clone that has 8inch solid tires that make loud scrapping noise on ground and feel like on ice when wet, oh and having 0 suspension, this EverCross/HITWAY e scooter , I’d like a dream and again, I only paid £414. 😄
Did yours come with a uk charger
@@Cameronsworld of course. If you order from U.K. it will have U.K. charger.
Sorry to ask but does the scooter fold on it’s own when riding I saw someone say on Amazon it folds on it’s own
@@Cameronsworld no. On its own, the locking system is strong and will NOT fold when riding. Plus, there’s a nice pin that you insert to folding mechanism and this pin means it’s absolutely impossible for the e scooter to unfold when riding. It’s so secure that you don’t really need to use the pin but obviously, you absolutely should, just to be sure that you’re safe.
Great job on this video. You are very thorough and explained all the features well. I have difficulty walking sometimes and don’t feel like getting a wheel chair or one of those big bulky electric scooters so I’m considering something like this with a chair. Do you know if this would be allowed in a mall to be used as assistance mobility?
I'm. Sure it can just don't go so fast in it
Please
I activated mode cruise but not work.when i quite the throttle the wheel stop.
In the display the icon cruise is on 🤔🤔
Hey bro do you still have the scooter and would you recommend it there’s a store we’re I live selling it for $300 should I get it? What you think
Can't tackle hills at all. Wanted a little Power I was tired of slolaming up hills on rent a scooters I heard it took on hills. I love the look the build I wanted to live happily ever after but it craps out on the slightest incline my friends were smoking me on 350 watt rentals. Sad day had to click return
What is the oil you used in this video can you please provide a link thanks.
did it fill fast and what about hills did it also go fast
hay man just wanted to let you know your standing on the scooter wrong need one foot forword and right food farther back both feet a little closer to the edge make balncing alot easier and feels safer at higher speeds more control
No complain with this price :)
What are the wheels made of?
I use the seat on my NineBot max because I use it to go to work everyday and it is 11 miles straight (44 min) and it is to long ride to be standing without Getting tired
Hi I recently bought a escooter and it's basically the very same as yours the guy I bought it from told me it's called a surg R city scooter but I can't find anything anywhere online about it I'm just curious if ud no anything about it
Hi the battery died within month or not using the scooter it don’t charge anymore where can I buy one battery please ?
I have 1, its a 2022' model and I like it, its the pple acknowledging it that has become more annoying than anything else about the scooter. I dnt even ride it with the side color lights and pple almost attack me just 2say how good it looks.
Can you remove the seat bar which is connected to the scooter?
i just bought a Valk 7 fusion,,looks the same???
Is it kick to go?
At 12:54 it sounds like you said "Right now, you're doing about 90 Miles an Hour, approximately? Actually 70 Miles an Hour.... and it Feels Great!"
Thanks brother on the review, made me grab it myself. To take off the seat just a Allen key to hold one side and twist the other?
I left the hinge in and removed the seat and post. It lets me know where the back of the board is so I don’t accidentally step on the fender.
@@grazz7865 yes I did the same, worked out perfect👌🏼
@@stephenbugeja93 nice 👍. Enjoy the ride!
How tall is it with the handle bars fully extended? I'm 6ft tall looking to buy me one
Just bought it and it didn’t quite go 28 but 25 is good enough
Yes it depends on the weight and terrain.
Yes, I'm sure they tested it with a 160lb rider. I weigh 185lb and it basically hits 25mph top speed. It's probably really around 23-24mph if you check it with gps. Scooter speedometers are always off by 1 or 2mph.
Ye im 130
@@chrisb.1214 Do you know any other scooters that cost $600 and go up to 28 miles
@@teddyflowers2798 Not really. There's the new ETWOW GT Booster Sport that will hit 30mph, but I believe that sells at $1099.
What's the water rating???
G fait les amortisseurs arrière en rouge et les poignées frein sa fait plus propre les amis vous en pensez quoi ?
Does it still works. I just bought one.waiting on it.
Nice electric scooter one question I have where do you get the backup tires if one goes out
These tired ARE SOLID. They don't go out.
Id ditch the seat but keep the post
Does anybody know what size the charger 3 prong connection is ?
How do we change on p setting video?
Great video, I just got one. It has changed slightly, it has beefed up front suspension with coil overs, and the turn signals are on each corner of the base. Thanks for the seat tip, I didn't know about the lever under the seat. I agree it feels like a low rider, with the seat sinking lower, but I'm going to be a seated operator mostly, just not into standing up. How do you select options in the P mode? I know how to get to it but not sure how to toggle options in the P mode.
Keeping it real we jus wanna see how fast it goes hit full throttle
Frrr
How long does the charge last
Is that possible to remove the seat?
Hola disculpe me podría ayudar es que compre una h5 2023 pero la suspensión delantera es muy dura osea demaciado dura que puedo hacer
In what order do you place the bolts for the front lights?
Is this a dual motor or single motor?
when setting up cruise control, what do the numbers mean under P, I see Yellow number 2,4, 9, 16, 99...Then below in white is 00000 or 00001?
Flip to P16. Use the blue button to change it to 001
@@zenwhitenoise7920 that’s correct. 0 is off and 1 is on
Crucero que es?
How much is it in New Zealand
❤
My right handle bars doesn’t fold anyone know what that issue may be?
Maybe you tightened the brake or lcd too close to the circular latch that has the white arrow? You need to pull those latched outward first, then fold the handlebars
Not bad, 800W I am only getting a 25 mile an hour scooter lol😅
They advertise it as 800w peak, the constant power is actually 500w. Says it in the manual. Mine just arrived yesterday.
Your review ALMOST made me like it. lol I prefere a MONSTER for a scooter. Good review.
And you got that MONSTER scooter my man! 😉
Dagway check it out !
11:09 Mine came in today. Looks like I got the most recent model of this. There are 4 turn signal lights. 2 in the front and 2 in back. 11:18 There was a tag that states you can change 3 modes for those trim lights. Seems a bit hit and miss though either that or I'm not timing the press right. And the rear shocks are now red as well not that matt black on yours.
We’re do u get it from and how fast does it acc go ?
@@Its_Brandan Got mine from Amazon. 27 mph. Uphill is a struggle coming in around 13 mph. I haven't tested it for its max range which is supposed to be 25 miles. I did a 22 miles range. Not the greatest range but that's fine for me it's just to go scooting around to stores.
@@Ancientreapers how much in pounds ?
@@Its_Brandan It is rather on the heavy side 44 lbs. You'll never need a gym ever again carrying this thing around heh.
@@Its_Brandan Oh one more thing. I bought it when it when it was on sale on amazon $679. The usual price you'll see is $799.
THIS WAS MY 1ST SCOOTER I STARTED GROWING MY CHANNEL WITH THIS SCOOTER ALSO HAVE VID ON HOW TO CHANGE THE LCD LIGHTS LIKE COMMENT AND SUB
It's a lovely scooter and very very fast but if you wanted to make her a little faster how would you do that
I recently got mine I upgraded front and rear shocks. And I'm waiting on a 48 volt 1000watt hub to replace front wheel and make it dual. I think these will make it perfect without braking the bank. And hopefully I can achieve 30MPH OR HIGHER.
@@josezcerda2039 any update? Thinking about getting one and want the most speed possible
Max speed for you?
24.9 top speed by GPS .. all the companies lie saying 28mph .. top speed os 24.9mph
that pin goes on the other side you push more down
Seems to be a good scooter for food deliveries. Especially riding long periods of 2 hours to 4hours.
Maybe it’s just the video but it seems like it should have more punch off the start.
I think I’ll just spend the extra couple hundred and get a splach titan
How much was it in £ pounds
I'll have to oil up that steering hinge on the stem of mine real good. I took mine out on the first time and I thought it was extremely dangerous because of that problem. Also the RGB lights along the sides of deck on mine have a short in the wiring I believe so that also sucked.
What do you mean by that sir? I think I’m having the same issue with mines I took it out for the first time and it starts wobbling
This scooter, does I’m about 15 14 miles or less, I’m 140 pounds, I just added a extra 48volts battery to mike and now I’m getting 55 miles pre charge
