An opinion from someone who played and enjoyed 16 bit consoles 30 years ago... After a couple of weeks the look doesn't really matter a great deal. It's always the gameplay and fluidity of the title which KEEPS you coming back for more. Graphics and animation should be a secondary goal for developers, unless they've already perfected the base product. PES and fifa still need their core improved as a matter of priority.

Score Match (app mobile) uses this responsive level and is great. You just have to learn how to play like the game is made for and you''ll have a great and realistic experience.
The gameplay visuals are great in PES, it's the menus, Commentary, stadium upgrades, more leagues within a country. I.E 4-5 in England, 3 in Spain, 4 in Germany etc. This is what Konami and FIFA need to work on more, and are a lot easier to do. I should add, while many people might find it boring, there are people who would find this type of game highly enjoyable. There's people who play strategy games where a single game lasts hours and the pace is not quick. Playing this type of football would be much more tactical and require a lot more thought. Many modern sports gamers don't want to think. They want things to go fast and score a lot. But it's not football. It's hockey with a football skin.
"My Chinese arrived" famous last words
The closest we ever got to this was PES 2014, but it was the slow response of MASS that turned people off. As a result, like TTB said in the video, it'd be impossible to program the game this way without having to sacrifice something else.
finally someone who sees the genius of pes 2014
with updated shooting, that game was simply a masterpiece gameplay-wise
Fifa and pes needs this realism at least they won't die after 2 months as usual
Wow... not gunna lie I Would By this ina heartbeat, if it was a playable game like PES n Fifa.., TBH I think they would B Running Scared... Gr8 upload brudda 🙏🏿
I definitely agree with your point of view on responsiveness! I guess we will never have our cake and eat it?? I do think PES does a really great job with contextual animations at the moment, who knows what kind of new system PES 21 will have!! Great video again, and thank you for your pov on presentation as well. I do think it's time Konami upgrade the Presentation, especially with all the new Stadiums and Players scans.
The movements from the players are fantastic definitely need these in and on the new gen consoles
It also depends on the chain of movements you command your players to do. It's all about little frequences really. I love your channel btw
Brooo just give time and you would easily cruise to 1million subs. Tbh.....
Love from India.....
In my opinion PES gameplay is fun and beautiful as it is. Just needs few tweaks. However FIFA needs A LOT of work.
Really? The game that has over 350 million games sold needs a lot of work....and the one that sells 1.6 million does not? You guys seem to be very delusional. This is just sad.
Bobby Cooke you’re one of those people that buy the same shit every year so EA doesn’t give a flying fuck to actually improve the game
@@bobbycooke6159 What's sad, although I somewhat find hilarious, is that y'all bash FIFA year-in-year-out, gave the latest installment (FIFA19) a 1.7 on Metacritic, constantly complain that the game is getting worse yet y'all run out in millions to buy something y'all know is broken. PES may sell less but it's a testament to how few people have any common sense...
@@matnat21 No need to curse at me....and yes I buy the game every year. Just like the 350 million other fans. Fifa does not need a lot of improvements . We can accomplish all the basics quite easily and smoothly. The improvement I would like to see is them increasing the chances on packing a 84+ player. I spend on average $100 bucks each fortnight and get only garbage players. Outside of that I am good ..many of us are.
@@justlloyd7881 I hate when PES fans bring up the "critics" stuff. Critics do not play games. As for the complaints...we have over 350 million people with copies of the game. Some will complain ...its ok.
I think next gen ps5, can maybe play like.this nice fluidity to the play .
Ps5 has a shitty hardware.. Believe me..
The movements are insane! Wow
I thought I was watching a real life football match
I think both ea and Konami sports look realistic enough. Just wish we could edit and make boots, and make uniform
Not possible.
Ps5: Hold my SSD!
PES 2014 was like this and everyone says it's shit
Yes pes 14 the most realistic soccer game, but the ai/teammate very stupid not respondsive, sorry for my bad english
PES 2014 was literally the worst PES of all in terms of gameplay.
2014 and 2016 is the worst
@@tom0900060 2016 was a improved version of the 2014 pes. Very well gameplay but some others options like stadiums creation edit menu master league stuffs were fucked up
joaquín cordovia I remember playing a ML with Arsenal and in the winter transfer period I bought Ronaldo by accident. 14 Million. Just stopped playing the after that
Make this the first fm game for consoles and use this engine for gameplay that would be madness
Maybe rage is the future. As the games get more and more realistic, fluid, and irresponsive, the players get angry and more rage videos gonna be produced, it would be awesome the rage videos with this.
I think these are actual parts of real football matches captured and rendered with 3d models. Every movement is unique, by the way I think that in these last years pes is focusing more on the game and tactics instead of improving animations. But in the upcoming games I'm pretty sure we will get closer and closer to this realism!
So real, but look like legend match
Omg that looks so real amazing😍😍
Thank your for your thorough analysis
Efootball/PES closest thing we got yet
kidding efootball close to this are u a joke? worst control animations on the world pes and efootball sewries worst! gameplay animations worst. wish tobe best but after they couldnt make they closed the pes and konami than evrything over efootball ıs a mobıle phone game so dont say close..
@@cenkgonen4485 how many hours have you played the game to give such a review?
After seeing my player stand in front of the ball in an open goal situation and let the defender take it away in FM22. I would be so happy if this gameplay was in FM, it would suit the game so well.
Great video!
Wow the movement of the gameplay is excellent.
I’m already addicted to football manager but imagine this gameplay on future releases !?! It would be amazing and these days fifa and pes aren’t any close to real football games after seeing this
You always said my mind anytime i watch your video.but i think in this video konami can do that because this game look similar to pes14 and the player movement are also a little bite to compare with pes14 players movement. so for me i think it's possible for konami to develope a game like this.
I agree that things like the celebrations and the crowd etc, can easily be used in fifa or pes. It would be great to see it used.
Wtf!! 😳 How is this so realistic. I was searching for some alternative to 2 big games, and here it is, its too good for a second i thought its a video and legit it looks like its been mo capped very perfectly something we hopefully will see maybe in a decade from now implemented i think in pes
They don't really need a new engine or processing power, they just need to invest more time and money in improving their animations.
Lol animations take years for solid movement plus imagine storing all that into that games and making extra copies its gonna take hours.
For anyone wondering. The commentator is someone from ESPN's MLS team. I'll look into to it more.
FM with this engine is absolutely beautiful
This would be a dream come true
imagining that this game’s movement and speed + graphic of Pes or Fifa ....
Finally found a great video for a You-Know-drinking game...😎
Rule:
Drink a shot everytime he says, "you know.."
You can watch interview videos with Camila Cabelo, she says "you know" a lot
Score Match (app mobile) uses this responsive level and is great. You just have to learn how to play like the game is made for and you''ll have a great and realistic experience.
actually this is the best football simulation i ever seen. i mean the gameplay
The gameplay visuals are great in PES, it's the menus, Commentary, stadium upgrades, more leagues within a country. I.E 4-5 in England, 3 in Spain, 4 in Germany etc. This is what Konami and FIFA need to work on more, and are a lot easier to do. Or let the Modding community have free reign (including Console) Like Skyrim, Fallout etc
I'm not a soccer expert, I'm having a hard time understanding why you think this wouldn't work for a game? You say it's too slow...?
Frankly that's why I got into PES instead of FIFA, for a slower game. An even slower game (with graphics like this) would seem to be perfect. Am I the only one?
Perfect 👍
This game is hella good like the animations and stuff
Even if it was just stick men with this movement i would play....quick someone get on it...money maker m8
First time seeing this game ,looks different and in a good way .. looks very good in surprised
Is this game out yet? The animations and physics look amazing.
