Navy blue is more beautiful than black in my eyes, I've always loved it even as a little girl (so for many decades!). It is traditionally so popular in my country, France. Your trench coat is so chic, looks very comfortable and all your outfits are great! Thanks! The only thing I wouldn't wear is the cream taylored trousers, they are wonderful and look more flattering than the slouchy pleated trousers) but touching the floor isn't practical for outdoor walks in northern countries in the rainy seasons.

For me your style is a kinda phantasy-self-style for me, so i have to be careful not to be too inspired🙈 i work as a kindergardener/daycare teacher and i am a mum of a 4year old.. soooo I live on my knees inside (so its Leggings or Jeans) and outside with a lot of mud and rain and sand (northern Germany). Also i go everywhere by bike in every weather so trenchcoats or bascially any jacket without a zipper in the front isnt really for me in autumn/winter. And i carry a backpack everywhere. White trousers would be the most stressful thing i could do to myself 😅 but if it would fit into my life, i would totally dress like you

Loved these, I don’t have a navy trench or navy winter coat but you really make me want one. I loved when you paired it with the tan bags and the trousers, so very chic, but equally so with the joggers and jeans. The casual look with the jeans and 🧢 was the perfect off duty look. I’m hooked! 💙🧥
Amazing outfit inspo, as always Emma! 🙌🏻 The COS trench is so so gorgeous but looking at the price tag and then realising it doesn’t even have a lining makes me question if it’s really worth it.. I mean for this price you’d at least expect it to have be lined, right?
The lining doesn’t always equate to quality/price as with some fabrics having a lining would affect the way it moves and hangs. This one is pretty thick so I personally wouldn’t say it needs a lining but it’s definitely personal preference ❤️

I stayed to my usual size so I would recommend going for you normal size. There is some great sizing info on the website to help if you are unsure, I wouldn't want to recommend a size and it be wrong ❤️

I love navy but find it hard to style unless I do monochromatic or color the sandwich. Even so, I couldn't resist a navy car coat during the Nordstrom sale this summer so this video was extra helpful, thank you. xo

Love all 5 outfit ideas, so much that I went back to the video and watched it again for the 3rd time!!! One other question: Is this navy hero trench coat water repellent?
It isn't, although it would probably be ok in a light shower but nothing too substantial. However you could use a product by liquiproof labs called premium protector (which is eco friendly) which helps with water repellency 👍

Yes I would say just keep an eye on their site as it really depends on the individual item, some they tend to restock and others not so much 👍🏼

I want to add a navy coat this year, but I’m still debating between a trench or a wool one. I do have a short navy peacoat, but I often want something full-length.

We are settling in very well thank you. Has taken a few days to get some intense cleaning done to make it feel a little more like home but we are both so happy to be here. ❤️ Now can't wait to get our hands dirty with some DIY as we have quite a few plans.

It isn't, although it would probably be ok in a light shower but nothing too substantial. However you could use a product by liquiproof labs called premium protector (which is eco friendly) which helps with water repellency 👍

Now, I don't have a navy trench...but I have a vintage Burberry olive trench which I love to death but I end up always wearing the same outfit with it. So, I was wondering if you can do the 5 ways to wear an olive trench/long coat, which I believe you also got one recently, if my memory serves me right? Thanks! Your videos are always so awesome!
I do, but mine is quite thin so more of a spring/summer style, but I can definitely do something earlier next year 👍
