You did a great job encouraging Malcom and the boys Tracey. Taking them to the city and lugging all that equipment just so they could get some exposure. I saw them in 2013 around time square and have been following them ever since. The album is great and I just love the fact that they're keeping metal alive within the youth culture. Big ups to you and your wife for standing by them, recognizing their talent and helping to facilitate their dreams. You're an awesome father for doing that.

Like a few other commenters...I think all they need is a strong lead vocalist. Doesn't matter the race or gender. The band is what it is, and they will grow over time. The drummer is tight, so that drives the rest of it. Even if the guitarist is writing most of the material, a voice that stands out will give them more room to be creative. Maybe add one more guitarist to round out the sound, make it fatter. But for their ages and experience, I think they gave a good show and put their best into it. So much for the critics, some of whom probably can't play an instrument as well. This is how it starts, the love of the music. Period. Wishing them much success.

Absofuckinglutely!!!!! I saw their performance with MM and I was like wtf is this shyt.. then I checked out their last performance in times square and I was blown the fuck away!! These kids are doing what I can only dream of at my 30yrs of life on earth! This is amazing and like u said I cannot wait to see them grow! My daughter is 18 months old and rocks to Slipknot with me. I'll be trying to learn to play the guitar soon in hopes to teach her and hope she loves rock as much as I do. I wish I was their parent bcuz I would sure as faq be prouder than a... lol I'm just blown away. And you said it perfectly, the crowd is rocking the faq out and that's what metal is all about!!

I appreciate that this kids are trying to do music at such a young age.. Wish I would've had a group at that age to be perfecting my craft so young. But honestly.. These kids are not ready to be performing like this yet. It's also a little upsetting that there are SO many bands right now out there who already do this exact same style of music and they do it flawlessly and other styles as well with bands like Tesseract.. and Periphery and Twelve Foot Ninja out there.. VERY talented bands. ANd they don't get acknowledged by the media... But because they are kids the media eats it up.. That's the only thing that upsets me. I have nothing against the kids.. It's the people who are all about "THIS IS AWESOME" but usually never even listened to metal in their lives. On a side note.. That drummer is gonna be a BEAST when he's older.

Damn, it's so fucking great to see kids actually playing musical instruments. These days, I'm starting to get a little bit worried, because I don't know one single kid in my town that has an interest in playing music. its so funny reading some of these comments. what has happened to the metal community? these are kids putting it out there! who gives a shit if they can play scales and know how to read tab or play correctly. its fuckin metal people!!! half of the comments are made by people that only know how to play the skin flute let alone pick up a real instrument form a band write your own songs and perform to a huge crowd! not to mention the rarity of them being colored kids. but who cares they are rockin and having fun...shame on anyone that says they suck or arent real metal or dont know what the hell their doing. honestly they are pretty damn good for being so young. they remind me of old school metal and i dig it! we are the only genre of music that is true to itself and hasnt changed but gone through many changes. so pat these kids on the back and shut the fuck up! rant over....
Yeah but we're talking major label deal kind of metal there...that's totally different. We're talking bigger production budget than possibly Overkill here. That's what doesn't add up, what are the record execs thinking? They can barely play. I give props to the drummer...but it stops there...again though, no multimil. talent.

Descent Madness Well, tbh, there has been many a band that could barely play their instruments and landed a huge deal and became legends. Ie. The Ramones, Nirvana...... They weren't virtuoso status anyways, yet they took what they did know and made it. Sometimes it is just the right time and you luck out. I guess that is what it mostly boils down to.

Baby Metal really have no talent... I'm serious... If people stop getting fooled by elaborate illusions of talent they can see it... They are mostly like dancing jumping jelly beans with a good band playing music behind them... Very gimmicky. With a lot of lighting and good looking clothes... They can't even dance that good. Strip them of their clothes... Remove the flashing lights and makeup and dancing. Give em a song that actually utilizes their voice and shows off their vocal talent and they are just like everyone else. They are a corporate artificially constructed group that the masses of people fall for... Most people are sheep.

You did a great job encouraging Malcom and the boys Tracey. Taking them to the city and lugging all that equipment just so they could get some exposure. I saw them in 2013 around time square and have been following them ever since. The album is great and I just love the fact that they're keeping metal alive within the youth culture. Big ups to you and your wife for standing by them, recognizing their talent and helping to facilitate their dreams. You're an awesome father for doing that.

Like a few other commenters...I think all they need is a strong lead vocalist. Doesn't matter the race or gender. The band is what it is, and they will grow over time. The drummer is tight, so that drives the rest of it. Even if the guitarist is writing most of the material, a voice that stands out will give them more room to be creative. Maybe add one more guitarist to round out the sound, make it fatter. But for their ages and experience, I think they gave a good show and put their best into it. So much for the critics, some of whom probably can't play an instrument as well. This is how it starts, the love of the music. Period. Wishing them much success.

These kids are doing what I can only dream of at my 30yrs of life on earth! This is amazing and like u said I cannot wait to see them grow! My daughter is 18 months old and rocks to Slipknot with me. I'll be trying to learn to play the guitar soon in hopes to teach her and hope she loves rock as much as I do. I appreciate that this kids are trying to do music at such a young age.. Wish I would've had a group at that age to be perfecting my craft so young. But honestly.. These kids are not ready to be performing like this yet. It's also a little upsetting that there are SO many bands right now out there who already do this exact same style of music and they do it flawlessly and other styles as well with bands like Tesseract.. and Periphery and Twelve Foot Ninja out there.. VERY talented bands. ANd they don't get acknowledged by the media... But because they are kids the media eats it up.. That's the only thing that upsets me. I have nothing against the kids.. It's the people who are all about "THIS IS AWESOME" but usually never even listened to metal in their lives. On a side note.. That drummer is gonna be a BEAST when he's older.

its so funny reading some of these comments. what has happened to the metal community? these are kids putting it out there! who gives a shit if they can play scales and know how to read tab or play correctly. its fuckin metal people!!! half of the comments are made by people that only know how to play the skin flute let alone pick up a real instrument form a band write your own songs and perform to a huge crowd! not to mention the rarity of them being colored kids. but who cares they are rockin and having fun...shame on anyone that says they suck or arent real metal or dont know what the hell their doing. honestly they are pretty damn good for being so young. they remind me of old school metal and i dig it! we are the only genre of music that is true to itself and hasnt changed but gone through many changes. so pat these kids on the back and shut the fuck up! rant over....
Yeah but we're talking major label deal kind of metal there...that's totally different. We're talking bigger production budget than possibly Overkill here.
That's what doesn't add up, what are the record execs thinking? They can barely play. I give props to the drummer...but it stops there...again though, no multimil. talent.

Well, feel free to check my channel, I can definitely teach them a few tricks on the guitar, these sloppy leads were just horrendous. I totally see why the label dropped them.
Descent Madness Well, tbh, there has been many a band that could barely play their instruments and landed a huge deal and became legends. Ie. The Ramones, Nirvana...... They weren't virtuoso status anyways, yet they took what they did know and made it. Sometimes it is just the right time and you luck out. I guess that is what it mostly boils down to.

Strip them of their clothes... Remove the flashing lights and makeup and dancing.
Give em a song that actually utilizes their voice and shows off their vocal talent and they are just like everyone else.
They are a corporate artificially constructed group that the masses of people fall for... Most people are sheep.
GRiMHOLD Everyone knows this, it's just that no one cares. It's not like the group tries to hide the fact that they were "manufactured" by their label.
GRiMHOLD The Kami band have musicians that I have never seen in any American band yet plus when you will perfom in age 11-17 in front of ten thousands of people then call me.
I mean seriously? they don't have talent? just admit you don't like them and that's it.
