Hi Sue I am curious about this one. I really love the face and body, but I have super dry, rosacea and eczema prone skin and the F&B is probably best for drier skin types tbh. I've used most of the 50ml bottle I have, so you know I love it as how often do any of us use up foundations completely? The new one shown here hopefully has a tad more coverage (for my rosacea), although I'm never going to look good in full coverage with my skin type. I think all higher end foundations should have an extensive shade range, so 50+ is pretty good on that front. I'll get a sample next time I'm in Edinburgh (my nearest city) where there are Mac counters. It looks a bit like the Givenchy glow which i also really like, but Mac is usually cheaper than Givenchy thankfully. Although for reference the Givenchy foundations cost less than Lancome, which surprised me when I bought it. I think you might like the Dior glow foundation - it was terrible on my dry skin despite the excellent shade match I found. It has a lot of alcohol in it and my skin hates that in a foundation. Combo skin reviewers really seem to like it though and it looks great on them - I don't know if SA has dior, but if they do then get a sample. Thanks for the review and best wishes.
Hi Loraine. This has a tad more coverage than the Mac fnb, but similar luminosity. It really is gorgeous and I look forward to hearing your view once you get a sample. My skin has become quite sensitive to alcohol so the Dior is a miss for me.
Hi Sue! Thanks for the review. I would love to see videos of 6-8 week wear tests with one brand of skincare to see if the claims are real. You could do it on foundation too. Hopefully that type of video interests you.
Hi Kara. Thank you for your recommendation. I have been wearing this foundation for 2 weeks now and I am definitely going to do a follow up video. I agree that you need to trial foundation and skincare for a longer period to really get a feel for it. Watch this space!
The shades are all a little off. I'm using a sample of C3. 5 and it' seems to be the closest I can get to my skin tone. I would recommend getting matched in store.
@@MsActor2009 I agree. It adds luminosity rather than radiance or glow. The Clinique Even Better Glow is just that - glowy. It doesn't have the subtle luminosity that this has.
There are some glowy foundations that look nice and dewy and there are some that look a bit on the oily side… This is more illuminating and it creates a little bit of ambiguity about your age. I like it. It’s a bit “mystery lady”. My second favorite fountain of yours is the Japanese one. It has this lovely porcelain undertone, which is beautiful.
What are you wearing on your lips? Love it!

It is flattering on you! What skin care did you use under it? Primer? It's lovely.
Hi Debra. No primer, just Neutrogena hydro boost moisturizer and sunscreen xx
I’m so glad you did a review on this foundation. I think it looks beautiful on you and I’d say it’s a winner.
Thank you. I am really surprised I like it so much x

Looks beautiful on you. And the shade, at least on camera, looks spot on! Thanks for the review!💖
Thank you Lisa. I highly recommend you try this. I've been wearing it non stop.
Thank you for this helpful review!!
You are so welcome!
What in store can i find this
Are you in South Africa?
Thanks for your review. I’m normally a nc25 and as you are too what shade in this formula would be a good match?

Thank you so much for your reply. Sadly I’m not anywhere near a store. I’ve ordered my usual, so fingers crossed!
Thanks on the review! Was looking for somebody with mature skin testing it, and I loved your comments, very welcomed!
You are welcome. I have been wearing the foundation ever since and I really, really like it!!
@@Fifty-sense Great to know! 🥰❤️
Great review. I will be trying this one ! Thanks
Hope you enjoy it!
What SPF do you use under foundations?
Nivea shine control spf 50 or heliocare
Colour looks perfect on you x
Thank you. It really is a good match x
Oooooh! Can’t wait to try this foundation!
Margaux, it's lovely. Very flattering on mature skin x
I think it has a nice brightening effect on you, which, in my opinion is very youthful!
Thank you. I agree that the glow is youthful xx
I think it’s more on the illuminating side than the glowy side.
