- here's a longplay of Super Mario Land using all authentic hardware with a direct A/V connection. I thought it would be fun to play it with the SNES controller. It took some getting used to compared to the tiny game boy buttons, but it was worth it just to see this game in color. I didn't rush or try to hit every secret pipe, just a classic enjoyable run through of one of my first games ever.

Man, than ending song was the best. I played that song on my gameboy until the batteries died.

I know the legend of zelda link's awakening had made a remastered version to 3d for the switch but hey but what about super mario land as a 3d remastered vesrion i hope nintendo will make finally a super mario land remastered game because i have seen no remasterd version of super mario land and it's about time for a remastered version of super mario land and link's awakening had made a remasterd game for the switch but i never played the link's awkening also not remastered version but still what about the super mario land as a remastered verions i hope nintendo will finally do this super mario land 3d remastered version

Super Mario Land in PAL Tone/Speed?
Bruh no this is running at normal speed bro the GB didn't have any difference btw PAL and NTSC because it was a handheld and if I'm not wrong the super Gameboy wasn't released in Europe and this isn't 16.9% slower
Several areas are extremely difficult...especially in the fourth world. The moving platforms are hard to jump onto, and I've fallen off of them on several occasions. The worst are the diagonal-moving platforms. It's a great nostalgic game, but it is very hard.

Nintendo didn’t really have any idea how to adapt Mario to the smaller Game Boy screen… Super Mario Land 2 is much better.

this was the first Mario game I ever played, and first game I got for game boy when I was a kid so it feels right to me

this game has incredibly clunky controls, you can’t blame them for dying a lot. it took me ten whole years to beat mario land myself lol

@@RetroRupp Super Game Boy is the best! always a surprise when you pop in a random game and you get a custom border. this happened to me while trying to play through the monstrosity that is Toy Story for the GB recently. I couldn't make it through it so no video haha. hope you're enjoying your SGB
