I vote for more construction of the house. I'd love to see progress on the living room, the upstairs rooms, the attic, etc. Obviously, anything you choose will be wonderful though! Excited to see your doll of Lydia.
Well done in fixing The Betelgeuse. I’d love to see you make Adam and Barbara and their scary faces as separate masks for them to wear for the upcoming Betelgust.❤❤😊
I am so glad BeetleJuice can stand and sit now!! 👏🏽 As for Beetlegust, I would love to see more of the house construction. I also would like to see the living room finished. I just love anything and everything you do. So I guess whatever you feel drawn to, do that! I will be watching no matter what. 🤩🤗 You’re AMAZING!!
Thank you Amber! It would be really nice to get that 1st floor finished up this year if possible! Now I will have a tiny model to help me make sure everything is in scale lol!
I'd love to see more construction on the house, especially a second floor being added. Main reason for this is that I want to see how the magnet walls will hold up and how they will work once a ceiling is added and you can't hold onto them anymore from the top to remove them.
I am so torn! I would love to see more of the Beetlejuice house built but the thought of seeing the dolls placed in the rooms as you finish them is extremely appealing to me.
😄😄Her little face was cracking me up as she was trying to understand what I was telling her to do. Usually it's just 'sit' or something like that😄 Thank you!😊
Personally I'd love to see more work on the actual house this year since you did all the dolls last year. Whether it's interiors or building the actual structure I just would like to see more of that
He looks great everywhere 😂 Great shots - and well done with the wire! Btw I’d prefer to see the project going on during Betel-gust. Either the next room or the construction 🏗️
I think this was a great upgrade for the doll. I love hearing the thought process behind what you are doing and why, and it's so interesting to see how you make adjustments when you are not satisfied. As for Beetlegust, I'd love to see more work on the house.
More BEETLEJUICE please lol. I finally saw the movie, fell in love with it and now I cant wait to see your progress!! I love your improvements on his structure. So much better 😊 Great job!!
Yay I am so glad you liked the movie!! I am really having to share time with the Captains Quarters because I have to finish it before I go back to the museum, but I am excited to get back into it!
I LOVE when you make dolls, rooms, miniatures, accessories...just about anything! You and Sharon Ojala win the awards for taking something apart to make it even better. I'd call it "artistically brave". You're willing to take the risk. I enjoy listening to your process and watching you adjust if the theory/plan doesn't flesh out...please keep doing and creating regardless of what you make!!
Great Job fixing the menace, now he can cause more trouble in the project ..Stormie Approves!😊 definitely not tired of dolls!! And anything would be great for me to see..But I would like to see Lydia!! ❤🥰
Finishing the house would be good! I personally would love to see you make a small diorama of the “Cat” house, from the movie. (Maybe 4” x 6” and something like 4”-8” high)
Lol when you were taking his clothes off and his head was spun around the back side all I could hear in my head was “hey…hey! What are you doing!? What’s happening!?…” the end scene in the movie when the witch doctor shrinks his head 🤣🤣🤣 missed you friend! I’ve been crazy basically driving all day/nite lol. My daughter has senior prom this weekend/Disneyland senior trip next week and is graduating high school. My youngest son is on varsity football this next season (my micro preemie is a lineman 😱😂) and finally now that covid is somewhat over we’re booming again with residential carpet cleaning jobs 🙏🏻. I just wanted you to know I didn’t fall off- I have much catching up to do! I feel like we’re friends and I’ve missed you friend! So happy for this video today while I have a moment of me time ❤❤❤ Edit: P.S. Bring on the dolls for this Beetlegust! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
So great to hear from you! Haha yes I should have added that sound bite from the movie! That would have been perfect😆 You have been busy! Sounds like its all good things which is wonderful❤ I am happy to hear from you any time you have time!
I will happily watch any video you put out, dolls, minis, building structures, reviewing products, testing techniques...it's all opportunity to learn, and I'm always on board with that.
I recommend looking up hot glue sueding for ball jointed dolls, while he doesn't have exactly the same joints as a bjd the hot glue could still probably add a good amount of friction to help keep the poses in place Edit: PS I think it would be a hilarious running gag if you just snuck him in to all your projects progress shots lol
Ooh that does sound interesting! I know that the BJD community probably has a ton of tips for better pose holding! I will look into it. Haha that would be hilarious! Seems like something he would do too...👀
I’d like to see either, but as a doll collector I’m partial to dolls. Have you looked at sculpting ball joint doll books and tutorials? You might get some ideas for joints. I’m looking forward to Delia!
I am really intimidated by creating a BJD from scratch honestly! When I made Beetlejuice that was my attempt at making it with out the ball-joints. Turns out they are pretty important😄 Getting a book with the step by step process might be a good idea though! Thanks Elizabeth!
Well done Ara, he's looking much happier! I reckon you should keep building for Beatlegust. I'm really looking forward to seeing the tower go up - but really you should do whichever part of the project your most excited about, that will help you keep motivated and moving forward. Really enjoyed this video and the last (shocking) live stream was great too! Thanks
Thank you!! I am so glad you enjoyed both videos! I do want to get going on the tower but I am unintimidated by it honestly. I might have to build it in sections as I go along to make sure it's the right height when I get to the attic. Not sure yet!
Oh! He is so much better now! You are such a good problem solver! As for Bettlegust, I say do whatever you have been itching to do. I'll bet there is one little something you've really been wanting to work on. 😁
Wow all of the ideas you mentioned sound great to me so I am no help here it seems! LOL hmm Probably keep building would be top of the list but there are still a lot of characters that need to be constructed as well... wow, I think your gonna need to do a poll or whatever you feel draws YOU the most. We are going to love anything and everything you post either way~ Give Stormy a big hug and pat for me.... 😍
I will definitely pass your hug along to Stormy! I might come up with my final two options that I am really drawn to and put up a poll soon! That way I can gather whatever materials are needed!
Those pics! OMW LMBO You should choose one create a short, asking us to title it. The pic with the cat, in the Captain's display room would be a good option. As far as Beetlegust, the dolls are a great idea but I am all for you getting more done with the house. It just makes sense and I am here for it! I am here for whatever you decide, let's be honest. LOL
I'm glad you didn't have to start him over from scratch! Your thought process and problem solving skills always amaze me! Dollightful is an amazing source for doll modification/construction. She uses popcicle sticks for the joints. I don't know how that would work for your scale though.
He'll be able to get up to all sorts of mischief now👻! And come Beetlegust, im sure he'll show his appreciation by "helping out" with the builds😁😱. That's a laundry list of possible projects! I would love to see Barbara and Adam, as well as Lydia. I think those 3 would be more than enough for a couple of episodes. I think doing another 4-5 dolls on top of everything else would be spreading yourself too thin and wearing you out. Seeing more of the house built would be awesome too! In the end, whatever you decide to do and in whichever order you choose will be awesome and we'll all be here to watch, in amazement, your incredible creations!!❤️
Haha yes... I am not sure I am looking forward to the 'helping out" ;) But at least he is able to now! 3 Dolls sounds intimidating but then I remember how many I did last Beetlegust and it sounds like a breeze😄 Thank you Kelly!😊
I would definitely like to see you make more dolls of your choosing, finish the living room, and create some more structures for the house build. Your adjustments to the Beetleguese doll worked out great Ara! Ecellent work! Thanks so much for this! I wish this was a much longer video, but it was awesome, albeit short. Lisa
Thank you Lisa!! I think I have an idea to do a little bit of everything and still have it all come together in the end. I am excited to get going on planning!
This was an amazing fix! Thank you for showing this and showing that it's ok to fix something we're not happy with in a project. I think Beetlejuice probably annoyed the inhabitants of the other projects LOL Especially Captain Maggie giving him "the look". For Beetlegust, I'd love to see more building of the house (1), or (2) a Delia doll, or (3) the Saturn scene (in order of preference at the moment LOL) This was such a fun video and it's awesome to see Stormy getting involved LOL.
Thank you Rachael! It's definitely ok to give something a tweak or update if it's not what you like! He is definitely annoying them! The skellies didn't even come out of the house... I think they were hiding from him until he went away😄 The Delia doll seems so intimidating!! Maybe because I know she would have the most opinions about the way I make her lol!
I love that photo montage! Gave me a giggle. I think you should do what you feel passionate about. It sounds like the Saturn scene is what you are inspired to do. Also, Stormy!
Great work, Ara. It's a dramatic improvement on the figure, I'd say! The 1968 Major Matt Mason figures had casted rubber bodies with wires running through the limbs like this. They were glorified "bendy" action figures. Look them up on Google sometimes if you're curious as to what they looked like. I have several in my action figure collection. They're pretty rare these days!
Oh wow those are interesting! I wonder how long the wires lasted if they were actually played with my a child? I am glad you have a couple to preserve them!
@@BentleyHouseMinis A lot of times you find them with broken wires, Ara. I've seen people re-wire them, but I've never had success at doing that. Because there figures are hard rubber, you have to actually heat up the wire to make it very hot, in order to be able to push it through the rubber. It's quite a job. Luckily, my actual Major Matt Mason figure has wires that are still good after all these years. I try not to play with him much. He just sits on my shelf! www.lostonwallace.com/mattmason1.jpg
After several hours of doing cleaning in the yard, I was pleasantly surprised to find this video. So I'm sitting here, with a snack, catching my breath and enjoying Beetlejuice. Thanks. Have you ever looked at how a ball-jointed doll is strung? I have several and I love the way they pose. Just a suggestion. I do enjoy your tutorials, videos, sense of humor and, of course, Stormy's cameo appearance.
So glad my video could keep you company during your break! I am thinking about using another doll making process for the other characters but I am glad I gave hand-sculpting Beetlejuice a go. The BJD way of stringing is just fantastic!
I'm sure Beetlejuice was very happy to visit your other projects! I would say, keep working on the rooms of the house and make some more doll characters. ❤
oh I have SO MANY projects now that are a few years old of which I think... hmmm I'd definitely do that WAY different now. For Beetlegust: Perhaps the attic? Would be a nice way to incorporate all the wonderful works of your subscribers and gives you an entire month to work on such an intricate section of the house.
I wish I could work on the attic! I just don't want to create it and then nothing fit by the time I get to the 3rd floor lol! It will probably be my favorite room to create and its kind of torture that I have to wait until the end due to logistics😄
Loved seeing him in all the other projects too. Glad you were able to find a solution for your issue. :} As for Beetlegust; I personally would love to see more house being build.
I loved this the photo shoot was hilarious . I think whatever you want to do would be fun on beetle juice. Do what makes you happy stormy is too cute ❤❤❤❤❤❤🐶🐶🐶🐶
I would love to see more of the house, finishing the first floor and starting on the second. More dolls would be nice too but to me is secondary to the house.
I have never see the movie Beetlejuice, and I don't think I will ever see it. But I love your house and dolls. So, if you finish the house or making dolls, for me it doesn't matter. I just like the results. You make something special of all of it. Have a nice creative week Ara.
That was just the right fix for him. As always you're awesome! I would really like to see more work on the house. I know how much time it's taking me to get my house completed. Along with all the accessories that make a house a home. No matter what you do next, it'll be great. 😊
Awesome video, I learned a lot about what makes a doll poseable here! I think, for practical reasons, it might be good to work on dolls next because all of the logistics of Beetlejuice himself are fresh in your mind and it may be easier to work on more dolls when that is still true. But also I wanna see the Delia doll I think that will be absolutely hilarious.
In the making of of ball jointed dolls the joints are ball shaped which gives the joints a more natural function. Your jointing beads are flatter which inhibit some of the actions. Loved watching you rehab him though.
I love your dolls! I think you should take a look at Ball Jointed Dolls, they are much like how you are doing Beetlejuice, and have great poseability. I don't think you would even need to resculpt anything.
I'd love to see more on the dolls but I'm not picky. all your projects look fun. I'm currently getting supplies to attempt my own mini house. No clue what I'm doing so thanks for all the info. Looking forward to the next one.
More posable dolls ❤ love to see them in all the rooms as you create the rooms😊 You could 3d print dolls and then customize them as the characters, it could make them easier to make and make them different from and more alive than the dead in the waiting room
You could 3d print dolls and then customize them as the characters, it could make them easier to make and make them different from and more alive than the dead in the waiting room
I know a doll 3D printer that I am working with so hopefully we can come up with something cool that helps me not have to hand sculpt each one😊 Great suggestion!
My first few dolls were definitely rough!! Its an art form that takes a lot of time and patience so don't give up if you don't like the first ones you've made. They'll get better each time!
i'm all about the family and the main couple. they were so much of the movie to me. the actors did such a great job playing them that they stuck around. if you decided to do a little walkabout, maybe the covered bridge scene with the car, the plank and the dog? just because i would love to see those in miniature. or the cemetery... i just realised... you're doing miniatures and Alec Baldwin's character was into making them as well. pretty cool n meta!
I agree! I love that there is a model maker in the movie that I am making a model of😄 I agree about the actors... they really made the movie what it is! I don't know if I will have room to add a bridge but I might add a nod to it somewhere in the build!
I vote for more construction of the house. I'd love to see progress on the living room, the upstairs rooms, the attic, etc. Obviously, anything you choose will be wonderful though! Excited to see your doll of Lydia.
Thank you C! I have an idea that will encompass some building and doll making... fingers crossed I can make it happen!
Well done in fixing The Betelgeuse. I’d love to see you make Adam and Barbara and their scary faces as separate masks for them to wear for the upcoming Betelgust.❤❤😊
I will definitely have to make their heads interchangeable!! lol! Thank you J!😊
I agree that would be lovely ❤
Please please please and their wedding day outfits too!
Ace of clay did grandma with a secret which might be an option for future dolls. Not sure how to explain it.
1-Create Adam and Barbara. 2- Finish living rm. 3- Create the other dolls. 4- Start 2nd floor. Excellent job with rehabbing Beetlejuice!!!
Adam, Barbra, Delia and her husband and her friend, and especially Lydia! If no one else you must do Lydia! And the living room with that staircase!
Great suggestions! I am thinking a mix of dolls and building but I just have to decide who!😶
Beetle Juice sure gets around, lol. I would love to see more of the construction of the house. ❤
He does lol! Thanks Rose!

In stop-motion puppetry, a puppet’s ability to hold a pose is called its “memory.” This applies to any element, including skirts and hair.
Oh that's interesting to know! And makes sense too... he definitely was lacking in memory!
Hi Ara. I'd love to see the living room/more house built, but really I'm always happy to watch whatever content you post. Thank you!
😊 Thank you Lena!
I'd love to see more work on the actual house... in whatever form that takes. 😁
I'd love to see more construction on the house, especially a second floor being added. Main reason for this is that I want to see how the magnet walls will hold up and how they will work once a ceiling is added and you can't hold onto them anymore from the top to remove them.
I want to see how they will hold up too! I am intimidated to put on the 2nd floor but I am excited to share it with you however it comes out ;)

I would love to see more of the house. Doesn’t matter which part.

Thank you Joni!!! I appreciate that!
I would love to see you work on the living room. The house stuff is absolutely fascinating to watch.
Thank you Kit!! I am so glad to hear it's interesting!
I think this was a great upgrade for the doll. I love hearing the thought process behind what you are doing and why, and it's so interesting to see how you make adjustments when you are not satisfied. As for Beetlegust, I'd love to see more work on the house.
Thank you Cynthia! I am so glad you enjoy that part of the video and it doesn't just come off as me talking too much lol!😄 Thank you for watching!
I would like you to maybe finish the Livingroom then maybe make Lydia if there's time?
Having Lydia around to sarcastically comment on parts of the house build would be really fun ;)
I would love to see more constuction of the house for beetlegust
you mention the wedding outfits scente in the video, maybe you could recreate that too
I think I might have the wedding clothes hanging in an upstairs closet but it would be cool if they could be pulled out and placed on the table too!
I'd love to see more room construction 💚 Beetlejuice looks even better after his makeover!

Haha yes, he was very happy to be a menace everywhere! Thanks Siennaflower!
oh I have SO MANY projects now that are a few years old of which I think... hmmm I'd definitely do that WAY different now.
Loved seeing him in all the other projects too. Glad you were able to find a solution for your issue. :}
As for Beetlegust; I personally would love to see more house being build.
Thank you Yezzy!! I will definitely be doing more on the house😉 I think I have a fun idea!
Love the Beetlejuice upgrade !! They are making Beetlejuice 2 so your figure will be very popular ❤
I loved this the photo shoot was hilarious . I think whatever you want to do would be fun on beetle juice. Do what makes you happy stormy is too cute ❤❤❤❤❤❤🐶🐶🐶🐶
Thank you Grace!! Sometimes I think I should just do all Stormy video all the time lol! She is way cuter to look at that I am😄
I personally would like to see you either complete the 1st floor or another base on the wooden structure
It would be so nice to have that 1st floor done and behind me!
I would love to see some more construction but I’ll be happy with whatever you decide to do !
I think I am going to do a mix of a few things! Planning now ;)
Would love to see more dolls so excited to see the Deets family, Adam and Barbara
We definitely need some more level headed dolls to counter act Beetlejuice lol!
I would love to see more of the house, finishing the first floor and starting on the second. More dolls would be nice too but to me is secondary to the house.
It would be really nice to wrap up the first floor!
Yes! I agree with J Flattermann - I'd like to see the family dolls made, but the scary faces for Barbara and Adam would be GREAT!!!!
Those will be SO fun to make! Iconic for this movie!
I have never see the movie Beetlejuice, and I don't think I will ever see it. But I love your house and dolls. So, if you finish the house or making dolls, for me it doesn't matter. I just like the results. You make something special of all of it. Have a nice creative week Ara.
Thank you Marjan! I am so happy to hear that you are enjoying the project even without having seen the movie!
It would've been pretty funny to see Beetlegeuse & doll Ara in a clandestine embrace!
😄 Oh gosh! He wishes😆
That was just the right fix for him. As always you're awesome! I would really like to see more work on the house. I know how much time it's taking me to get my house completed. Along with all the accessories that make a house a home. No matter what you do next, it'll be great. 😊
Thank you Leisa! I have an idea to do more on the house and possibly add some dolls so its a bit of both worlds!
This is cool! Great solution for fixing Beetlejuice. 😊
When doll customizes build BJDs they use a single elastic through all limbs so the tension keeps the form stable. Hope this helps for the next dolls!
That makes a lot of sense. Maybe that is why his limbs were flopping all over the place. I plan to go a little more classic BJD next time!
Great fix! Anything you do, I will love! I vote for working on the house.
Thank you Nicki!😊
I think you should do a living room.
I need to locate the couch I made for the living room too... last time I looked it was missing👀🤨
This was neat! I'd love to see you work on the house a little more, but a doll or two would be cool as well. So I think it's totally up to you!
I think I have found a way to do both ;) Thank you!😊
Great operation on beet juice guy. Lol . More dolls please. You are so awesome and very talented, creativity
😊 Thank you Yungzu!
I would love to see more of the house construction 😊
enjoyed watching you fix Beetlejuice
I like the idea of more dolls.
Delia is so intimidating to me lol! I feel like if I don't get her quite right she is going to come to life and yell at me😄 Thank you Andy!
In the making of of ball jointed dolls the joints are ball shaped which gives the joints a more natural function. Your jointing beads are flatter which inhibit some of the actions. Loved watching you rehab him though.
Thank you Lesley! I hope to do a bit more with the classic BJD shape with the next dolls since it will be a much better solution ;)
I vote for more construction on the house, I also would like to see the rooms worked on more!
I love your dolls! I think you should take a look at Ball Jointed Dolls, they are much like how you are doing Beetlejuice, and have great poseability. I don't think you would even need to resculpt anything.
I love watching you make dolls. Maybe Adam and Barbara? That would be fun..
They would be fun to make! Especially with their 'scary face makeovers'!
Excellent job I love the photo shoot!
This was such a great fix using what you already had on hand.
Great fix for Beetelejuice! More doll making would be my choice for Beetlegust, with house building a close seond (or do a bit of both)
I think I will do a bit of both! I have an idea brewing ;) Thanks Jillian!
I love it when you make the dolls!!
One great wire to use, would be bonsai wire, which is normally used to train trees. It comes in various gauges, so you can find one suitable.
Oh yes that seems like it would have to be very strong and take a lot of bending! Great suggestion!
Wonderful solution! I am continuously intrigued by your resourcefulness.
😊 Thank you George! I was so happy I could fix him rather than start over!
More construction, please and thank you!❤
I'd love to see more on the dolls but I'm not picky. all your projects look fun. I'm currently getting supplies to attempt my own mini house. No clue what I'm doing so thanks for all the info. Looking forward to the next one.
That's wonderful news about you starting your own build! Happy creating!
😂I love the photo montage that was very funny. Beetle Juice looks great! I think the dolls make more sense but I love the construction of the house.
Lol! Thank you! I think I have a solution to do a bit of both!
@@BentleyHouseMinis whatever floats your goat! Just do what feels right. Honestly we love everything you do Ara!
I've been waiting for you to make Lydia ever since you started this project so that would be great to see!
I am so intimidated to make Lydia!! I will see what I can come up with!
Great fix! I'd live to see more dolls. Im keen to make my own dolls. Ive tried but Im not happy with what Ive made.
My first few dolls were definitely rough!! Its an art form that takes a lot of time and patience so don't give up if you don't like the first ones you've made. They'll get better each time!
I think you should do a doll push. Though I love the house construction most, it might be nice to have the dolls done for easy photo ops. 📸
I am so glad to hear you all aren't just sick of dolls! I have so much fun making them😊
I'd love to see the dolls made!!!
i'm all about the family and the main couple. they were so much of the movie to me. the actors did such a great job playing them that they stuck around.
if you decided to do a little walkabout, maybe the covered bridge scene with the car, the plank and the dog? just because i would love to see those in miniature. or the cemetery...
i just realised... you're doing miniatures and Alec Baldwin's character was into making them as well. pretty cool n meta!
I agree! I love that there is a model maker in the movie that I am making a model of😄 I agree about the actors... they really made the movie what it is! I don't know if I will have room to add a bridge but I might add a nod to it somewhere in the build!
Hi! Construction of the house and maybe finish the living room.
Hi Eugenia! There will definitely be some more construction!
