@@ripdbtpoo1441 - True. My late father started smoking in 1942, when he was 14. When he died, in 2004, that was not the cause of his death - Hodgkins' Lymphoma was. He had stopped smoking about ten years previously.
The first time I saw Sean was on 8OOTC when i was like 9 or 10 years old. I loved that show because, as a young child, it made 'Have I Got News For You' look like a decrepit old man reaching for the off switch while his family tallies up their inheritance. I remember being 14 or 15 years old and seeing Sean's first live show on DVD in Poundland. I'd never seen him on anything else other than a panel show but knew I love his style of comedy so I put it in my basket. When I had finished watching it I genuinely felt think i had stolen something. The level of comedy and the laughs it brought me I felt like I owed the universe something in return because of how good it was. Turns out I had actually stole it because I was high on mephedrone. Funny how the world works.
It’s a startlingly good point, go to Greggs not Starbucks! Also… What if everyone bombarded Greggs for their coffee and before long Greggs became a tax-paying coffee chain with the best crossover menu you’ve ever seen
Just wondering can anyone guess which country came up with the concept & the term " Brunch "??. I bet it will shock you, when you look it up. I certainly was.. I'll give you a hint, It's not the country you first taught it was. And you definitely be shocked at how long it's been around for... Hope this gives everyone a bit of a giggle. 👍🇮🇪 And I think the term " Legend " is very accurate description for Seàn's type of comedy.
Sean Lock On His Theory Of Good & Bad Sexism | Keep It Light | Universal Comedy 1827pm 8.9.23 greatly pissed. fucking good lad. he'd be a wheeze out on the brunch... and then lunch.. then tea... then supper and then elevenses... he's a more peeved jasper carrot.
Define "woke" in context. See if you can do it without making yourself sound like a terrible person. Go on. It's probably the greatest example of colloquial usage without any thought into the actual meaning. The "woke" movement has been entirely cooked up by the scandal mongers in the right-wing media, they are so far up their own mock outraged asses they aren't even able to recognise the monumental irony of their own creation. Stop feeding into that. Humanity is ignorant enough without you adding to it.
He’d read the comments and tell us to all f**k off and find something better to do! 😂
I'm still sad that he died. Way too early. A great talent... Gone forever.
Gone, but not forgotten. Thanks to platforms like RUclips.
One can always not smoke, and l type this as a smoker of 50 years.

Dont be sad because he died be happy that he lived. Man had a good life.
Totally read that still as ‘regardless’ rather than ‘after all this time’. But I feel you. So sad
A legend of the game. Rest in peace. He is sorely missed
"Badly-crimped pasty" is such a graphic description 😅

You sat in Starbucks?
You're doing f all then. Just drinking coffee
Is there an official Sean Lock channel? Love his comedy but id rather watch a channel that will benefit his family than some faceless corporation
The layers on the brunch joke keeps making me laugh. Like how drunk did you get at 10am to not be able to make breakfast the next morning 😅😂😂😂😂

As much as I agree, did you know that the heir to the greggs company is in prison cos he’s a peadophile. So grim 😡
I’d love to see some new material from Sean. I’m sure he’d be a funny as ever.
Condolences to his family.
RIEP Sean.
That's actually a good point. I should stop going to fucking tax evading Starbucks

Well the only saving grace of his tragic passing was ...he was not silenced by the woke brigade . RIP
