This is something I’ve struggled with for so long and genuinely terrifies me for when I move to uni in September (hopefully!!). Thank you for being so transparent with us, we really are all in this together❤️
Just finished uni and I remember the feeling of complete terror starting. I cried myself to sleep for a solid week! I wish I could go back and tell myself it’s all going to be okay and that I would have the time of my life and make some of my closest friends. I hope we all get to experience a graduation, it doesn’t feel right this being the end. Well done Jack!! Xx

I feel you. I too am a first in my family to go to university. My parents kept panicking about the student debt I will be taking. I had some hard time explaining that I do not have to pay it right off. Now I work full time, and my dad and mom cannot believe one of their own is an office man with a suit and tie. It is worth risking this chance to a better life.

I'm also in my third and final year in uni at the moment and I remember feeling literally the exact same about everything and it's so weird watching you react because that's how I feel too watching this. The feeling of almost wanting to go back in time and tell yourself that it's going to be okay, and you are going to love it there, and you will make the best friends with people there, just trying to reassure myself about things, but yeah feeling total deja vu watching this.
It’s always felt like Jack has been extremely transport and open and shared his experience and it definitely made going to university a lot less scary for me but I really like that we’re getting to see a side of him where he’s actually talking about how nervous he really was because although he sounds nervous in comparison to how he is today when I originally watched that vlog I thought he was so confident and it just gave me this radiant energy that I needed to feel comfortable going into university. I can recall rewatching his whole university series even when I was in my second and third year of university just when I was feeling down and I needed a reminder of how great university is and how many amazing experiences and opportunities you get

Oh my god, im feeling soooo nostalgic watching this video. I am currently doing my first uni year in Belgium and I feel that because of those 3 month of quarantine the beginning of the year happened several years ago or even did not happen at all. I missed and will miss so many first times and it makes me feel really weird and sad. I feel like the world is on pause and nothing will be the same as soon as it resumes. In the beginning of next year, we won’t have irl courses, we’ll mostly have online classes and uni activities like parties and everything that builds uni life (for me at least) won’t happen again before a long time. I dreamed about going to uni almost all my life and now I feel like everything I dreamed of is taken from me and I wont be able to live them. Thank you for sharing your uni life with us. I started watching you in high school and now im in uni too and loved every part of it. I’m looking forward to see how you’ll evolve in life through your videos :)

It was awful :') so to anyone who is ridiculously nervous don't worry there are a lot of people feeling that way! plus if you don't feel like going out in freshers don't you're with the people in the flat/block for a year you'll get to know them eventually! be yourself. It’s always felt like Jack has been extremely transport and open and shared his experience and it definitely made going to university a lot less scary for me but I really like that we’re getting to see a side of him where he’s actually talking about how nervous he really was because although he sounds nervous in comparison to how he is today when I originally watched that vlog I thought he was so confident and it just gave me this radiant energy that I needed to feel comfortable going into university. I can recall rewatching his whole university series even when I was in my second and third year of university just when I was feeling down and I needed a reminder of how great university is and how many amazing experiences and opportunities you get

i finished my first year at college (i’m american lol but pretty much same thing) and i had such high expectations that i let myself down a little. just going to go with the flow next year and enjoy it :)

Oh my god, im feeling soooo nostalgic watching this video. I am currently doing my first uni year in Belgium and I feel that because of those 3 month of quarantine the beginning of the year happened several years ago or even did not happen at all. I missed and will miss so many first times and it makes me feel really weird and sad. I feel like the world is on pause and nothing will be the same as soon as it resumes.
In the beginning of next year, we won’t have irl courses, we’ll mostly have online classes and uni activities like parties and everything that builds uni life (for me at least) won’t happen again before a long time.
I dreamed about going to uni almost all my life and now I feel like everything I dreamed of is taken from me and I wont be able to live them.
Thank you for sharing your uni life with us. I started watching you in high school and now im in uni too and loved every part of it. I’m looking forward to see how you’ll evolve in life through your videos :)

boy oh boy, watching this brings back memories of my own freshers week! I'm out the other side of it now (gradded out in 2017) but you nailed it saying that freshers is seen as the best week. It was awful :') so to anyone who is ridiculously nervous don't worry there are a lot of people feeling that way! plus if you don't feel like going out in freshers don't you're with the people in the flat/block for a year you'll get to know them eventually! be yourself.
