The appalling "paved" roads of this map make me think of areas around Mount Adams, WA.
I need to show this game to my Dad. He was a logger back in the 80's, so I think he'd get a kick out of it
Easy to figure out how the bison kept creeping forwards, the bison, simply put is one of the most powerful trucks in the game even if it's not an all wheel drive.
I just came back to this game after forgetting it for 2 years and I'm getting it on ps4

@@themfknightrider420 Technically no. But they make the crane a lot more stable and comes in handy if your extending the cranes reach out a long way. Also a stable crane makes it easier to load the trucks as all you got to worry about is lining up the logs without any swaying or tilting from the crane itself.
For the sake of clicking a button that takes like 0.5 seconds of your time, there is really no reason not to use them just to be on the safe side.

Me and my friend just started using the Chevy bison in spintires mud runner and surprisingly it is a great hauler.
When I was playing that game I hit a tree with my blazer literally 2 feet before the watch point
There is legs u can out down on the crane it will be ALOT More stable when loading up logs

You do realize that they put the flatbed trailer in the game to haul the skidder around right??
nope didn't realize that. I just drive the skidder around and never use the flat bed. May try it now just for the extra work of it.
The only thing I've used the skidder for was to tow the trucks to the log kiosks and back out. Just a lot faster that way

Bison actually hauls pretty well same with the ford don't really care for the freightliner
i kinda found how to cheat this out.. use your western to log station.. log short, medium, or long woods the go back to the station prepare bison for a medium/ short/ long log trailer. on western car position on the station use "unload logs.." then youll find 2-4 logs, then install loader on western.. move the log with the crane to bison trailer... n tada.. it save time.
The Bison is actually not a bad truck. It's nowhere near as good as the Western Star, but it's actually capable enough off road to get to the scavenge locations and get itself out. That's a whole lot more than I can say for the Ford and the Freightliner
You can put a crane on every truck (not scout) or just the crane even with the long log trailer
The quickest way to the garage was thrue the woods
you can load Long Logs and Short Logs with the skidder its not that hard.

Can anyone tell me is that bison powered by a 2 stroke Detroit as I sounds sweet pulling at high revs.. Obviously can't hear it on this vid lol but when I use it it sounds sweet. I'm from uk so don't know lot bout American trucks.

There is so much to see about the vechiles ,the westernstar ,has a long log trailer,we want to se the h1,the forwarder ,back in the day is was more quallity video,you have flat bed to carry arown the skidder, I was waiting so much this dlc to see your game play...aaaand total disappointment
