I remember that night in May 1968 when we became the first English team to win what was then known as the European cup, Bobby Charlton scored the first with a header, very unusual for him and of course Benfica equalised, then Alex Stepney made a brilliant save from Eusabio, Then George Best scores and then Brian Kidd on his 19th birthday and then Bobby Charlton scored a second to make it Manchester United 4 Benfica 1. Great Memories

Roy Keane gave one of the best UCL performance against Juventus in that second leg. He sadly got yellow card in that gave and it was confirmed he will miss next game. So he gave everything, he ran out of his breath and made united to do the impossible. This was one off the best ucl campaigns . Especially for Beckham. He was fabulous. He got 2nd in Ballon dor that year

yes, because they came second in the Premiership to Arsenal in 98. The days when only the winner of the league would automatically qualify and the second place team had to qualify.
