    Wazza was a beast. Proper team player sacrificed his own game for the team. Man united's all time leading goal scorer. At one point was arguably the best player in the world.

      He definitely would of been if he hadn't had so many recurring injuries and he played the majority of his career playing out of position to allow ronaldo van nistlerooy van persie zlatan and others to play in the middle and made them all play better lol

    Wayne Rooney is the 3rd highest goal scorer in premier league history and has the 3rd most assists in premier league history, Manchester united top goal scorer of all time too, he's a legend of the game and one of the most complete players ever.

  • @Colgan1
    @Colgan1 8 месяцев назад +4

    Rooney was so underrated, yet at the sametime was respected. He was overlooked a lot (not all the time), especially when Cristiano was playing with him. But Rooney was a well rounded player. He had it all. The aggression, the passion, the determination, the physically and he could hit that ball like no other. He is the the 3rd top goal scorer in Premier league history, 2nd top goal scorer for England and Manchester Uniteds top goal scorer in their history. He scored a hat trick on his debut in the Champions league too.

  • @alexm6340
    @alexm6340 Месяц назад

    Rooney literally had it all. People don't understand but he was fast, among the fastest top speed in the world. He could pass better than most midfielders. His shooting and finishing was top tier. He could dribble very well. He was INCREDIBLY strong, when he arrived to the big scene and he came up against some of the best defenders in the world as a teengare, he bullied them. On top of all that, he had proper fighting spirit of a footballer from the street. He's Manchester Uniteds all time goalscorer, he was Englands top scorer. He's Premier Leagues 3rd in all time goals and assists. Funnily enough, he would had broken so many more records if he was more selfish up top but he was a REAL teamplayer. He sacrificed himself for Ronaldo, he did the same later for RVP. I don't think I have ever seen a player THAT good that was also that much of a teamplayer. His career sure did fall off towards the end but at the same time, he was one of the best players in his league at 16.

    is one of the best player's to ever play the game, certainly in the prem.
    at 18-22 him and cr7 at man utd were neck and neck. they were destroying teams. both went on to have sensational careers, but cr7 went further and lasted longer because he was more dedicated and looked after his body better

    now is the time for Charlotte fc to hit him up! I am sure he would love the challenge.
    “I would like to thank Tom Wagner, Tom Brady and Garry Cook for the opportunity to manage Birmingham City FC and the support they all gave me during my short period with the club,” he said. “Football is a results business - and I recognise they have not been at the level I wanted them to be. However, time is the most precious commodity a manager requires and I do not believe 13 weeks was sufficient to oversee the changes that were needed.
    “Personally, it will take me some time to get over this setback. I have been involved in professional football, as either a player or manager, since I was 16. Now, I plan to take some time with my family as I prepare for the next opportunity in my journey as a manager.

    3:35 We don't really have academys the way you have them in the US. In Europe you just start playing at a local team and if you're good enough a scout is gonna find you eventually. These scouts work for professional teams and if they think you're good enough you're then gonna get a spot in the youth teams of the club that the scout works for.

    ronaldo testing to the limits, they also did stuff against other athletes to they can get a full measure of his abilty

    To be fair. Football was called soccer in the UK at the beginning. The word soccer comes from football association with the asSOCiation part. Rugby was the first football. It is called "rugby football" so call it soccer all you want, we shouldn't get annoyed by it. But we do, it is also not the end of the world though 😅

      Might be worth checking out videos that explain what's happening, not just random highlights. Like how, in 2004, he made his United debut in the Champions League. A teenager, already one of the biggest transfers ever, on the biggest stage... and he scores a hat trick! Just... completely unfazed. I was astonished that night.
