True comparison should be done on dry down not with freshly sprayed strip in my opinion for few reason : 1. Right after the spray they both may smell same or one better which one has better citrus note, 2. Most of the people will smell your perfume after 30-45 minutes as you put on the perfume at home not out side the party hall door 😅, 3. Dry down tell you the reality of perfume not the opening in my opinion 😇
How do you know he wasn't using the same strip and had already gone in to the mid dry down you were assuming he gave them all fresh strips !
@@christosnicolaides7707 i don’t that was just a suggestion and opinion as I said at the end in my opinion. I am not the expert by know mean but have been using fragrances for more than 30 +years ( I am 46 ) so I can confidently say I have used and smelled enough fragrances to know few things 🙏🏼

I got the Le Beau Le Parfum AND the Le Male Elixir. Both of my favourite fragrances at the moment. Le Beau Le Parfum is more woody, coconut, almondy, versatile, and Le Male Elixir is more smooth, honey-like vibe, creamy, vanilla-esque. Love em both!
Also, even if the Paco Rabanne Royal lost, it's still a great fragrance!
For these comparisons, when there are just two, I would love to see their reaction to the drydown on skin. I know you might get less reactions since not everyone would be comfortable smelling your arm....but it would be helpful! Great vid as always :)
Def Le male Elixir. It is my fav frag these days. Amazing smoothness and performance. Kinda also makes people around me nicer towards me, haha.

@@Ieatrocks58008Nah, it’s not a bad take at all. I own Le Male Elixir and I’ve recently got a tester for One Million Royal and I like Royal better. It’s much more masculine, gentle yet endearing and calming. Elixir is smoother and fresher, but I find it just a bit too sweet- it is definitely quite close to a unisex fragrance, while Royal is strictly for men. So I actually agree with him. I will likely go buy One Million Royal soon. I’ve smelled others from the line and haven’t been too interested until this one.

1M Royal is a banger
Le Male Elixir is a very beutiful. very long lasting and powerfull smell. It has the farthest silage range ever and does not change a bit in smell over its lifespan. Good 1-2 meters of projection for 6 hours and becomes an aggressive skin scent for like 16 hours. Le male elixir is kind of a smell you have to commit for 24 hours, and it is heavenly.
On paper, 1M Royal gave me a weird papaya vibe in the first 10min which turned me off lol it was so weird
Never try fragrances on paper, only on your own skin. Its kinda a consensus that royal smells like chocolate/cacao powder

Le male elixir is fantastic if I'm honest , I think one million peaked with the prive release that one was beautiful balanced with a tobacco note to perfect one million, surely they will re release it 🤞

Jpj Elixer's a beast. It has ultra male-esque dry down. Awesome scent. Have both and both are beast of a scent. Elixer just inches out a tad bit for me.

Waiting for the DUA version of Elixir to arrive in the mail. Part of the "Error" line.
Le male elixir is a powerhouse fragrance, it penetrated to my skin over my shirt when I sampled it, however it just doesn't do it for me, something bothers me in there, it has such a powdery nuance to it which really puts me off, it is definitely not masculine as I thought it would be. It is not a bad fragrance tho don't get me wrong, it is perhaps I was expecting more masculine darker more complex fragrance for an elixir, it was quite opposite to my expectations.

Best part about it is the tobacco, but it doesn’t last that long. Mont Blanc Explorer or YSL Y EDP Intense for instance last so much longer and are power houses. I’d say it has about as much longevity as Versace Dylan Blue. Definitely a great Fall fragrance.

I’ve tried 3 Le Male fragrances since I got into this hobby within the past year, and I just don’t like the DNA..Not sure if it’s the sweetness or what but I can’t bring myself to like any of then

Must comment, there are unconscious biases that this sort of test is completely subject to. Calling an option A vs. another B already favors the A option. So to make things even, the label ought to either be alternated between the fragrances, or rather don't use letters or numbers, use some small unnoticeable mark under the paper strips to distinguish them, and let people choose whatever they like best, without even giving them one, let them pick it out from your hand randomly.
Statisticians would still have plenty to complain about here though, the number of samples, the many sampling biases still involved, etc. etc.
Asking the public their opinions on a fragrance is a fun exercise for an entertaining RUclips video. Best not to overthink these things.

@FRAGMENTAL I would like to see a similar video but with fragrances that you think are not mass appealing but rather elicit wild reactions. So for example I wore a fragrance which "was" considered a beast a few years back but not so much these days. Some hate it but those that like it can't seem to get enough of it.
The fragrance had a couple of instances where women wouldn't let go and kept smelling me and the one i liked a lot too. I'd rather have one like that than something that is just mass appealing as it's fun and conversation starters.
Are they smelling the opening or the dry down? That's a very important bit of info to add. Maybe on the screen write what part of the scent they were smelling.
My mum loved the original nothing came close to it in her opinion. Not even Ultramale (which I didn’t mind) but I just know she would have loved this one. Le male is great but is dated (smells like the 90s early 2000s) but this Elixir does fix that. I wonder how one million will hold up will that become dated… I think the trend setting fragrances that take the world by storm do eventually - I reckon Savauge is definitely going to be a dated scent. I can see my future kids pulling out the Savauge and running away from it due to the smell 😂

It's crazy bcuz I fell in love with the JPG elixir when i smelled it at Macy's, but I didn't buy it because I already have 1 million Royal, and they kinda smell the same to me. I personally like to wear so called winter frags in the sumner just to prove I can do whatever I want when ever I want😆✅ . Besides all that,… Not Everyone knows that going against the grain is how things get smooth and polished. If you want to get noticed, it’s imperative that you stand out. The End 🫶
So far I find Le Male Elixir redundant. I think Le Male Le Parfum is better while Elixir shares enough similarities thus making it unnecessary. Of course I have only tried it on paper(several times) so perhaps at some point when i manage to score a sample it may perform better on skin. I will say it improves massively by the dry down(as does le Parfum) but I just can't rationalize owning both especially since I find Le Parfum to be better.
On to Royal then. IMO Royal is far better than people give it credit for. To me it is the best flanker of the line. It smells great on paper but on skin it is something else. Warm, woody, aromatic ,creamy and lightly soapy in the dry down, it is an incredibly inviting fragrance with fantastic silage.
Now, Le Parfum is slightly better than Royal so it is not a given that Elixir is worse than Royal upon full proper inspection but at least from what I smell on paper Royal likely beats it out...for now.
JPG elixir by 100 miles. They are not even in the same ballpark. And I am a big fanboy of one million frags, lucky and elixir being some of my all time favorites

Yes. Its more mature with earhy vibes combined with sweet chocolate vibes. People disrespect royal just because its a 1 million but its a good solid fragrance, above average. For me its 8.5/10

@@Jeff-xv6gk The question shouldn't be if its better, because to each his own. In your case since you dont like lucky, the question is - is it different. Royal is different in a sense that it feels more mature. While sweet overall like the entire line, its not as sweet as lucky and the sweetness of royal is more woody/earthy and smells like a spicy chocolate. I would suggest you to try it first and see if you like it. But in my personal opinion its a very very good fragrance.

Not hating but I've never really understood these comparison videos. Scent smells VERY different on paper than it does on skin, and the initial smell can sometimes be pure alcohol where you can barely smell any of the notes or just the top one that dries down after some time. Don't ever judge a fragrance buy smelling it on a test strip. When I go into stores I'll always request they spray it directly on me so I can get the entire experience from beginning to end. These are fun etc but not entirely realistic. You are one of the better fragrance channels tho as you're not self obsessed and don't go on about a pile of nonsense before you get to the actual review. Cheers!!
