Hey Will, that would be awesome. I know a lot of folks who watch the channel have done some install work or are interested in learning more about it. Let me know when you've got files ready & I'll send you a link to upload. Can't wait to see it. Thanks!
Jupp. RS-232. Its is used for older XTA-processors as well. Would recommend using RS-485 if possible or get an adapter-kit from 232 to 485. RS-485 can travel down 1000ft of XLRs which is a nice way to get processor control at FOH for example.
I went back through my inbox to find the video you sent in... I must have misplaced it though. Could you resend the link so I can share a proper 'impressive' kit with everyone? Can't wait to see what the real pros are doing out there 🤪
Welcome to the club Zach. Great video. I too found some “legacy” items in my kit. Thanks for taking the time.
Very smart idea with the show files!!!
“I do some video”… enough to need a single BNC barrel..
But great kit and thank you for participating
that lid close at 5:58 was smooth af 😂😂
Was likely RS232 that you're talking about there
Jsarbour it was! I almost never use it
It’s linked down in the description for anyone who hasn’t had the pleasure of working with the old driverack.
Great video! Loving these "What's in your kit" videos! Really interesting video, and it's made me even more tempted to get a Rat sniffer sender
JJ TECH you should. It’s a show saver!
Yay it got put up today 🤣
Things have been a bit off with RUclips this week for sure. The realtime view count looks like the entire audience disappeared overnight 😂
I Do AV installs and i carry all my tools around in a pelican case also. Would you like a detailed video on what i carry around ?

yo the Apollo twin and the loom for it was so awesome. what do you use to make your looms ?
It’s a pair of XLR cables / thunderbolt / and power and it’s just healed together with black electrical tape.
@@audiobyzach6274 Out of curiosity why not use the apollo for tuning, does the DSP colour the sound too much or is it something else
Looked like a rs232 serial cable...if I remember they were db9 connector

Merci Merci beaucoup Merci Merci
is there one from LD?
Hey Justin, I'm not sure what you're asking. Let me know what you're looking for though & I'll try to help.
@@DcSoundOp if there is an pelican unpack from a light desiger/light technician i see so many sound and video guys where the light guys at tho😂
It would be awesome if some lighting designers and technicians sent in videos. If you know of any who'd be into it, send them my way!
big loomer
That’s cool.
I work with a zack in one of my audio visual gigs, I don’t like him..... lol
I know this “exact guy” too. Can’t stand him.
@SplinterCellRocks Work more and you'll find that "exact guy" too.
Not impressed, looks like a assistant going on vacation. Just my opinion.
