Alright, alright, I know: I've neglected Persona music for far too long. It was the #1 most requested new series from both the 2019 and 2020 GaMetal Song Ballots, both times having almost/more than double the amount of the #2 most requested new (to GaMetal) series (Hollow Knight in '19, and... we'll keep this year's under wraps for now!).
To add fuel to the Persona fire, multiple songs from the series are highly requested, with 3 of them showing up in the top 15 most requested songs from this year's ballot (all 3 tied). Life Will Change is one of those songs.
This song was requested by a GaMetal Patron (Smithy!), and upon it's official reveal on Patreon, while I was talking about vocalist options, I was messaged by said Patron to consider Sapphire. I checked out her channel and was immediately blown away: I haven't heard anyone that can match (and even exceed) the Persona vocal style in their covers as well as her, so I absolutely had to reach out to her to see if she'd be interested.
Coincidentally, she was already working on a Life Will Change cover, but was still down to join in!
In one of my past conversations with Sax Dragon, he had mentioned Persona being a personal favorite of his, so I asked if he also wanted to join in for some crazy aerophone soloing.
And that's the story of Life Will Change.

As a middle-aged lover of metal and video games, I’m usually most enamored by the guitar and drums in Jonny’s videos.
Sapphire *absolutely* stole the show with this cover, though. Mad props to her and her golden voice!

This is probably my favourite version of this song. It keeps the integrity of the song, yet cranks up the rock and Sapphire's voice carries a soulful essence the vocals require.

Oh man was Surprised you never took on a Persona song until now. Would recommend other songs from the series too while I love 5's ost the others have just as many good songs. I loved this series ever since I was shown it way back when P4 came out.
