I'm a trucker and last winter I laid down on the ground in just a t-shirt (no jacket) and had to adjust a mount under my truck. It took about 10 minutes and my one side got super cold and numb. My skin went red and harder. A week later the color was back to normal and my love handle on that side was much smaller and tighter. Lmao!! Free ice sculpting. 👍

Make your own ice packs using the large size zip lock zipper bags 4 cups of water and 1 cup of 91% rubbing alcohol. This combination keeps the ice from completely freezing making it flexible, that way you can form it to fit certain body parts. Worked very well for me.

Do you have knee problems due to inflammatory processes? If that is the case I highly recommend curcumin extract with piperin. I used to play handball for a long time when I was younger which really wore down my knees hence I was suffering from inflammation and pain in my knees especially my left knee. I started taking curcumin for a while and it got significantly better. To be more precisely it got so much better that not only the inflammation snd the pain in my knees is gone, I furthermore had outstandingly good values regarding inflammation markers when my doc took a blood sample recently. It takes a while until the effects kick in but then they are really profound. You should really look it up!

JaguerRhye I'm guessing either the method doesn't work or perhaps it's a diet issue?

    • @JaguerRhye
      @JaguerRhye 7 лет назад +5

      Roy,
Actually, during the time I used the method, my diet was pretty good where I ate mostly vegetables. I also engaged in intermittant fasting almost every day. When I fast, I can lose quite a bit of fat, it's just that I lose fat in other areas I won't want to lose it from. I'm actually a pretty thin guy. I was just hoping to target the fat loss in some areas. I heard someone suggest that people who don't have a lot of body fat might not benefit from the method, as they don't have enough fat in the fat cells to freeze and ultimately destroy the respective cell. They suggested it might be more effective for the person to actually gain weight and then use the method.

    • @JaguerRhye
      @JaguerRhye 6 лет назад +10

Hi Jonny, I'm not sure if you're comment is directed at me. If it was, it doesn't appear as though you read everything I wrote. Here is part of what I wrote in one of my comments:
"Actually, during the time I used the method, my diet was pretty good where I ate mostly vegetables. I also engaged in intermittant fasting almost every day. When I fast, I can lose quite a bit of fat, it's just that I lose fat in other areas I won't want to lose it from. I'm actually a pretty thin guy. I was just hoping to target the fat loss in some areas…"
In addition, I also work out around 5-6 days a week.
As I'm sure you're aware, cutting back on calories and exercising a lot may help a person lose fat, but it will not target fat loss. For example, if a man just wants to lose some fat around his gut and not his legs, eating less and doing cardio is not really going to give him the results he wants as the fat will tend to come off both his legs and gut.
You seem to dismiss the method of using icepacks but it seems people have actually had results using bags of ice to help with losing fat. Please see this link if you're looking for evidence: fellrnr.com/wiki/CoolSculpting
Note the section: "15.5 Results of DIY CoolSculpting" and see some evidence of this man's DIY experiment.

I had CoolSculpting plus I’m a nurse. You need to massage the area for a few minutes, it forms crystals in the cell, the cell wall is damaged by twisting motions. I use my hands to twist and contort the skin for maximum effect. It’s all about this not only the freezing, imagine if you did it right!!

But, bro, I swear, I am being as diligent as possible for like 2 weeks straight, then that was about 2 weeks ago now, and, I don't drink or eat "Crap", per say.
I do eat actually a lot of pasta and eggs, because I don't eat meat right now. I'm super thin, like 130 lbs probably. And the under the chin fat will NOT go down doing this
Like, I drink coffee and tea also, except for exactly one week of the month |I do not have coffee because my body has indicated by reaction to me not to, therefore not worth it. So my point is I do take breaks from coffee and or am able to be disaplined when necessary, for something I want
I take lots of vitamin B, Omega oil capsules, (when I remember), multi vitamins on and off, but I mean, I rotate things, so as not to bother wasting them because supposedly you will just pee them out anyway if your body already has enough of that. Why waste the product if that is the case
So, while I have been a little bit busy, and I haven't gotten it written down, to do it PERFECTLY, I STIll think with at least the effort I am putting it, which is WAY more than some people, obviously no where near as some others, probably, but I'm just saying
i feel like I should at least something for the mini ice pack I strapped to my underside /turkey neck poof should be showing some kind of response, but I swear to God, it looks like absolutely no different,
everyone is saying it only takes three weeks, so I feel discouraged because I am (quick:) ) but, not an overweight, or seriously out of shape person Sweet tooth and all, even though I have not been as diligent about working out consistently as I have in the past lately
Why do you think the ice under the chin does not seem to be doing anything for me?
Any advice is welcome, while I'm waiting for my tax return so I can get radio frequency treatment (#legitsick of it).

In the 1960’s I believe it was doctors and scientists discovered the “cryo freezing technique” through the studies of people pulled from avalanches. They reportedly lost extreme amounts of weight after rescue. Eventually volunteers (mostly new mothers wanting to loose the baby weight) let doctors and scientist practice the cryosculpting on them. I just wish it would have been shared with the US decades ago! Great video. The cool sculpting at home WORKS!!! Take his advice!!! He’s on to something great here.

Thanks for the information! Brown fat is brown because it has more blood vessels connected to it. white fat cells have fewer blood vessels and are less accessible. Yes, drinking cold water helps. Also more water will produce more brown fat and less white fat. It works because without enough water, the body has a mechanism to shut down blood vessels when water is low. This is to keep blood pressure stable. With fewer blood vessels, brown fat cells (which need more blood supply) disappear. Drink more water to increase brown fat and decrease white fat.

Interesting presentation. As an engineer, I see a problem with what you are doing. Ice and water together are a constant temperature process at 32 deg F. You should try a mixture of ice and water maybe 1/3 water and 2/3 ice. This will give you a 32 degree constant temperature with very little risk of freezing or frost bite. Worth considering.

I don't like the icepacks that get warm really fast, I use them on my stomach but you have to use something between your skin and the icepack, I leave them over an hour I normally diet and exercise since a long time ago but I have places in my body that accumulates a little bit of fat since I started I lost one inch on my waist and keep it off for over a month my skin is smoother and the fat looks firm and not cellulite like, I kind of feel when I'm getting fat and yes you get fat on new places the fat has to go somewhere else but it seems to be working so far slowly.

Hey Loveless - ok, I thought the packs only had to stay on for like 30mins. Because believe me, by then, they are officially warm (therefore, " useless") at that point.
Si I will try to google it, but if you also can recommend where to get a cost effective ice pack, or brand of, that will last for that long of a time (an hour)
Cause, clearly, i have to pour it on harder to see a change, under my chin, so it cannot be a huge one, so. Thank you for letting me know if you can when you can. :)

Towel Warmers work great about 60$ US. A microwave with a humid towel (not wet, previously rung out placed inside a bowl, also tends to work, but there's a lot of running around, not with a towel warmer. A Crock Pot, is much cheaper about 10$ to 20$..get a large one, pack a good 5 to 10 towels larger size about 11 by 24 inches...place them in there with a steam tray so they dont' touch water. Like steaming vegetables. Shake them out first, then apply.

For anyone who's interested, I swam in a very cold swimming pool one day recently (because the pool heating wasn't working and I HAD to have the swim), and, knowing nothing about any of this at the time, lost a pound and felt a definite difference in my middle the next day. And that was just one day, one half hour. A friend's trainer swims the English Channel every couple of years and gets ready by wearing no coat in winter and taking only cold showers. And he sheds fat.

One extra thing, we (humans) have brown fat mainly concentrated on our upper body, neck, back, and back part of arms so is a good idea to apply ice packs there and/or take cold showers and focusing on those areas. The brown fat is the one it helps us burn more fat, so it has been observed from studies that lean people have a higher concentration of brown fat. I tried it before and I can say that it has good results in a short period of time! I started to use packs again, I stopped because is a time-consuming process and didn't have time before, but in combination with a healthy lifestyle it can offer you good results!

Just a note he missed. When you do the Cold Water in the Morning. Start out Slow. You will get Brain Freeze if you don't. Most of us drink Coffee or eat Warm stuff in the morning.
Stop with the Hot stuff. Start with Just below Room temp for a few day & work your way up to Slushes. I love Slushes, as a Kid I loved them and when I got smarter I learned in the Summer when it is HOT ( I live in Texas) I could Drink Shushes & by the time I finished on I was actually feeling Cold.
Slushes will quickly lower the Bodies Temperature & kick start your Bodies burning processes.
Like a Power Drink in the Morning? Turn it into a Power Slushy. :-)
Blinders are your Friend. Stop buying the Little Bullet mixers Get a Full size add Ice & you get the Same Drink with Cold Effects to boot.

I live in Canada...I don't need cold showers and ice packs to get cold. I just go out without a sweater. I'm actually not joking...I'm in ketosis and intermittent fasting, so when it's, say, 11 degrees celcius (51.8 F), I'll wear a t-shirt. I adjust to it quickly now and feel my body warm me up from the inside so I don't need a cover. I think the white fat just turned into beige...but I use bentonite clay and activated charcoal to rid myself of any toxins. (I'm careful TO hydrate, but no, not too much which would wash out all the electrolytes from my body...1.5 L...yikes!)

It works, but please please please always have something as a barrier between the ice and your skin, whether it's a shirt or some cloth, and check to make sure you're not getting frostbite regularly. I say this because I messed up initially and got a frost blister, so now I always have a shirt on under the pack, and check every 5~ mins by pinching the skin.... I noticed if pinch and the skin has color and springs back normally, I'm good, if I pinch and it stays creased and pale ... it was frost burn. Best of luck!

it's way cheaper to get Lipo if you're really fat because you'd have to pay for mlre then 5 -10 sessions. So imo from having done it I was put to sleep, wore a girdle for 2 months solid accept whwn I showered and have now lost over 50 lbs.

I started using my cold therapy machine that the hospital gave me after surgery. Just add ice and water and The attachment is like cryo instead of an ice pack. It gets SUPER cold and you only need to do it 2-3 x's a day for 20 mins.

I started two days ago .
Put an ice pack on for 30 mins in morning & night. In a bit of pain .
    Is the pain normal ?

Are you putting it directly on your skin? Don't. It works wearing a t shirt between you and the ice pack.

I'm not an expert, but I would say so. When I did cool sculpting, I was in pain for at least a week afterward...

I think heat works faster, cause I have IBS, and I always put a heating pad on my abdomen when I have attacks. These attacks last sometimes up to two weeks or longer. I noticed that when I was applying the heat 3 or 4 times a day for about 20 minutes, that my belly fat would disappear. If you can't stand ice on your belly, you might want to try the heat.

I’m going to try a bag of frozen peas on my fat chin. More pliable.

A system like "isavera" does better ofr both brown fat and fat freezing. We've had decent results with it and it saved us quite a bit of money.
