I have a player stratocaster. It is a bit thin, prefer either a coil split les Paul or my trusty SG with the volume pots set low, or Sheraton ii pro. Great playing, as always.
@@user-xd7rc9mj3x You can SWAP out the pickups on your Player Strat and really have something you like, or just sell and buy that Sheraton II Pro, which is a fantastic guitar, and which I'd buy if I was a much better guitarist, and an NOT an absolute novice regarding Jazz theory.
I've owned exactly 1 strat my whole life. My first electric guitar was a cheap Kent strat. I loved Jimmy, Clapton, and all the great classic strat players but for some reason was always drawn to archtops and acoustics...go figure!
@@Minor7thb5 A few years ago, I sold all my guitars including a beautiful American Strat, but during the pandemic stumbled across this channel, and other Jazz guitarists playing Teles, and so I bought a Player Telecaster HH, and except for the pickups - which I'm upgrading - really love it, and have no plans to replace any of the guitars I sold.
I love the players series Strats in buttercream. They play like pro guitar IMO.
Great playing my friend.
Thanks for listening
