The manner in which these laws were passed virtually without any discussion with more than half of opposition member suspended for is very unfortunate. We all have read in law school. Law making is a serious buisness.
@vlawgish what's your opinion does this law will able to stand judicial scrutiny?(I'm talking about particular sections which gives arbitrary powers to state and police).
Thank you so much ma'am for your detailed clarification on this new enactments,. You've throughly scrutinised some of the major flaws of BNS & BNSS. I hope our judicial system will again rectify these issues.
As per me earlier as well as per S. 167 complete 15 days police custody was never given, JMFCs use to break it in parts, wrna police peet peet kr halwa bana deti hai! Otherwise your 1st point is very valid wrt Lalita Kr
My major concern was wrt sexual offences against Major Male, though minors are protected u/ POCSO But what about Sexual Harassment against male members, even PoSH is not gender friendly.
Also, we want a segment on suggestive books for law students as your bookshelf visible during videos just keep me intrigued towards your books collection.
I think we should strongly protest against these laws. In fact, as soon as they have been implemented, we should approach to the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India
Hello mam Thank you so much from the core of my heart for this video. As a citizen of India, it's very important to know all the legal changes. But I have a little request mam, coild you please make a video reagarding the rules and regulations made by Bar Council of India (BCI) for law undergraduates and universities. Thank you once again.
Wanted such more videos mam your videos are very informative and inquisitive. In whole you tube i found only best first young generation female Advocate with great knowledge.🙂
Yes we love this kind of informative videos. I was looking for such a precise video on new laws and finally found yours. I'm really inspired by your videos you're a role model for me ❤😊. Waiting for long vlog
I think CLAT is given when you want to complete your law in NLUs otherwise you don't need it. As far as private university is concerned, they take their own admission test.
Mam I think naming laws in particular Tatsam Hindi words is like forcefully imposing language on South Indians. Neither do people of North East nor do south Indians are comfortable in pronouncing such typical Hindi words. Moreover Constitution mandates that a law be published in both Hindi and English. Sheer violation.
South Indian languages have a lot of loan words from Sanskrit, Telegu, Kanada and Malayalam as well, And North Eastern States also include Assam, Manipur & Tripura where Sanskrit directly impacts Manipuri, Ahomiya and Bengali as well, So don't give nonsense excuses, tomorrow you would say the National anthem has Sanskrit words! Well it doesn't work in this manner.

I agree. This was unfortunate that we changed the criminal laws with least or no discussion.

Yes, this is one view. Seems reasonable but I am not competent to speak on this as this needs a lot of ground research before reaching a conclusion.
