It’s plastic dip, you don’t need to do that. If your coat is thick enough it peels off the outer rim/tire. To make it easier you can wipe the outer rim with oil.
Trying to do the same. Will the mist from the spray can get onto the body paintwork at all and end up tiny black spots? Since it's not covered. Thanks.
My aero cap scratched so easily against the curb. How's your rim and plasti-dip now? how many of those 4 cans of plasti-dip did you wind up using? thanks.
Thanks. But when you need to remove the tire is it gonna be easy to remove those lug nut cap? Or can you just losen the nut without removing the cap?
Thanks for sharing the whole shopping process as well as getting in and out of the car.
You’re welcome 😂
that looks sick, best options for 19in wheels
Yes, this wheels look great in black
They make gloss black hubcaps that fit over these and look completely stock. Much better option
Great idea with the flash cards!
Yes it helped a lot

Did you notice much range change without the hubcaps? I trying to decide between doing this to my caps or the actual wheel.
im keeping them on and plastidipping covers instead.
@@qman66 but the you still still have a silver gap between the wheels and the cover. Sobyou should propably dip both of them
@@bluetonic22 i put electric tape on them. Works perfectly.
@@qman66 over or under the covers?

What ceramic spray coating did you use?
Could you tell me what is the name of the Ceramic Spray you used?
Turtle wax hybrid ceramic wax
@@POGAuto thanks bro

I didn’t have that issue personally but I believe you could use goo gone on the overspray since it will remove plasti dip
How long did it lasted? 2 days?
You're painting a white car with black paint without masking the car? :o
It’s plasti dip lol. Can just easily peel right off
is it easy to take those plastic caps off the lug nuts?
With the tool it comes with yes
Is there a reason to do plastidip instead of regular high heat paint?
You can peel off if you mess up. Paint can’t be peeled off
Nice job! I like that look.
Thank you it really does look great

Sorry to hear that, I think it was 4 cans of black and 1 can of glossifier
how's it holding up after 4 months?
We only have issue with autopilot check out the new videos
@@POGAuto I think they mean how is the Plastidip holding up no?
@@eharlem3plastidip easily peals off so not very good 😂
looks awesome
Looks awesome
is it possible to plasti dip the wheel caps instead of the wheel itself?
I believe so yes but the edges of the wheel will show silver since it shows with the caps
Ok, what if I also plasti dipped the edges?
@@darsh7164 possible but it will be looking ugly when you take the cover off
Ok, thanks!
Will this void any warranty?
lol nah
i got some curbrash on my gemini wheels, ya think itll look super visible when i plasti them? lol
How are the wheels holding up after a year?
Cheers 🍻
6:23 Thanks for making me laugh
nice!
Without those aero caps on you have lost efficiency in aerodynamics and therefore lost range
Yes but probably maximum 5% range reduction
Those wheels 🛞 look god awful dude 🤮
that sucks
I noticed you really into opening and closing doors
original silver looks nicer.
I thought I was the only one who thought that. The aero covers look like cheap $40 covers you can put on a Civic from Walmart.
