After a full restoration to flying condition, the airplane was flown to Texas where she was outfitted with an exact reproduction of her original VIP interior. She was flown to Planes of Fame Air Museum at Chino, California, then to Planes of Fame Valle/Grand Canyon facility in Valle, Arizona. "Bataan" is now back at Planes of Fame Air Museum in Chino, CA for a full restoration.

This is the most beautiful airplane I've seen since I was a kid. I remember when they used to fly in and out of Lambert Field (STL) stuck between DC-3's (Ozark Airlines and Chicago & Southern Airways).

This is NOT a "Planes of Fame Air Museum's" aircraft. It belongs to "Lewis Flying Legends". Rebuilt by "Fighter Rebuilders".

I’m a photographer, and just a little advice for improving your videos. Don’t take this as a put down, because that’s not what this is. You should look into setting the camera/video shutter down to 1/125, 1/60 second and the propellers on all the planes will be a nice circular blur instead of excited chopsticks. This slower shutter speed might require the use of a ND filter, but the results will be worth it.

Good tip but most of us understand that modern cameras will make the props appear that way. Still, great video of a beautiful plane.

@@steveavant9727 you said "Good tip but most of us
understand that modern cameras will make the props appear that way." Are you saying that the chopsticks effect is something that is unavoidable in consumer cameras/devices ? I just wanted to be clear on your meaning. Thanks

@@htautomat I don’t have experience with the 4k cameras so I don’t know if the frame rate is adjustable, but I assume it is. Like a still camera, proper exposure is a function of shutter speed (frame rate) and lens aperture.
