VX Clubsport R8 Clean up Part 1

Finally getting some time to get the VX Clubsport R8 out of the shed for a much needed clean up, In part 1 I focused on getting the car clean again from all the dust gathered over time. Unfortunately due to the high winds the footage isn't as clear as I hoped it would be. Was great though to hear it running again and see it move even if it is just around the yard for now.

That's a beautiful HSV.i could have had one the same but the red series 2 Clubsport beside it in the showroom I just had to have!Best car I have ever owned.These are going to be so collectable.

Thanks and there such a great car to drive and look at, and it does seem that over time they may become more and more collectable, which is a big reason I need to get it back on the road to enjoy just cruising round in it.

I havent cleaned my vx for maybe 4 -5 years.
Gives it a kinda rugged used and abused impression. But in reality i never drive it too hard . A rough diamond too.

Gday I'm thinking about 12months normally don't let it sit that long but sometimes time just gets away from you.

Leaving a car in the shed, firstly don't do what I did and leave the car with no cover, and I guess it depends on if the car is running try and start it when possible and something that can be forgotten pest control, stuff like mice, gecko's and any other animals that think your car makes a good home.
