he seems like such a cool person. excellent guitarist, seems like the level headed glue in the band.

WOW! He's so precise!! What a great guitar player. He maybe doesn't shine as a lead performer (it would be nice to hear some leads from him) but he's a solid rhythmic foundation for Mastodon.

Actually, he performs the leads from time to time: my favourite is the "Sleeping Giant" lead parts. Great IMO. Rhythmically, Bill's an absolute beast of a player.

I was shocked about that fact, too. His picking is pure gold.

The dude was in lethargy, he’s more than your average hetfied rythym type, the guy is a master of his instrument

@@teenageblood4531 "average hetfield type"... dude... i iove kelliher but hetfield is WAY better rhytm player... it's cool to have different tastes and all... but as far as the techical aspects of playing guitar, hetfield is stronger in rhytm and is much harder to perform as solid as him... the way I view it, kelliher is pretty average player

He's wearing a t-shirt for my favorite band, Baroness!!!!!!! Right on!!!
If you're reading this, go check the band out, they're Georgia natives just like Mastodon!

Every time I listen to Mastodon I feel like i'm beginning guitar again. Listening to a band and trying to figure out the riffs haha.

Same here; It took me some time to pull off by ear the mid-prog section of "the last baron" (which is INSANE). I’m working on that one and also on the funky riff after that part - the part with the tambourine - . These guys are brilliant composers.
