- As Jewish believers in Jesus, we are usually faced with harsh comments but we welcome them. It gives us an opportunity to explain our faith from a Biblical perspective showing how important it is to take Jesus seriously as Messiah and Savior of the world.

@@brdg00d1ngIm pretty sure the right way to follow God is not to continue following your old pagan rituals (native american beliefs) and now incorporating Jesus into it. Jesus said you must deny yourself (that includes your own beliefs and desires), and follow HIM (Mathew 16:24) The Bible says God is a Jealous God (Exodus 20:5-6). So you can no longer parttake in rituals that would consult spirits or gods, because they were actually consulting demons (leviticus 17:7). The Bible says that we should stay sober minded, for the devil is looking for someone to devour. (1 Peter 5:8-9), and the use of Peyote doesn’t exactly keep you sober minded. Jesus said he is the way, the truth and the life, No one comes to the Father except through him. So they are not actually reconciling, they are just creating a new religion that tries to follow both but contradicts both.
@@marcocortes9968 I believe in Jesus but thank you for your words and for spreading the gospel. I’m just saying that Jesus came to me through these practices and saved me. I wouldn’t advise the same path for other, because they actually put your spirit outside of your body and without proper preparation and intention, one opens theirselves up to whatever types of spiritual influence, heavenly or demonic. The experiences I had involved intense out of body traveling on higher spiritual planes that I had no understanding of but through them Christ came to me and lead me back to salvation. I am of Native American and Caucasian descent and I believe that God laid out a path for me to understand the power and truth behind both of my parents traditions. I didn’t come to the Father through these rituals, but instead the Father came to me, in Jesus, through them. I hope that makes sense. God bless you 🙏🏽

Please dont mistake my rebuke for an attack, this is just me trying to show you what God says, not what I say. I want you to know, that just because Jesus found you while using Peyote doesn’t mean he approves what you were doing. The Word of God, the Bible, states clearly that those practices arent in accord to him because it doesn’t keep you sober minded. The Fact that Jesus came to you, while you were using peyote, something bible doesn’t approve because of its effects. Just show how much he truly, depply loves you. That he is willing to go into your world, while you were still sinning out of ignorance, and let you know he is real. I dont think Jesus appeared to you while you were using peyote so you stay using peyote. I actually think he went there, to take you out of it. I think I see a similarity between your story and the woman of John 8. She was caught in adultery, and during her judgement, Jesus met her, and saved her from condemnation. Jesus knew you were committing a sin, but he came to you, to save you from the condemnation of your sin. Now, The Bible doesn’t soecify if they ever saw eachother again. Imagine, If she one day yearned to meet Jesus again, and thought “well, since I met Jesus after committing adultery. Perhaps, if I commit it again, I might see him”. That would not work. Because she is committing a sin, to try to get closer to God, which wont work. You have The Holy Spirit, which is what Jesus Gives us, who comes from Father, so that you can connect to Him. This is all with love. 🙏
@@brdg00d1ng your story also remind me of Luke 15:4-7. Where it says Jesus has 100 sheep, and he looses 1. It says he *leaves* the 99 sheep to save the 1 lost one, and notice that it says once he finds his sheep, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and *Brings her Home*. Notice he didn’t find the sheep and then proceeded to stay there. He grabbed it, and took it Home. You could say Jesus went out of his way to the place you were at, to save you, now you have to go to the Home he has for you, don’t stay there. Come Jesus completely, and believe in what He Says.
How it warms my heart to see the people whom the Lord chose to spread his holiness turning to him. How it indeed fills me with gladness and rejoicing to see children of Isreal turning to the Messiah, first promised onto them and then spread to all nations so that they all might be justified and saved.

@GeorgeCrabb, I believe The Lord Jesus Christ was talking about them: Those people who misuse the name 'Christian' but in reality are: a Catholic, a Jehovah's Witness, a Liberal Christian, a Seventh day Adventist, a Mormon, a Freemason, a church member of Sinagoge of all Nations and various sects, etc.
I am a Christian and I am not against Israel. But there's a difference between the Israel of the Old Testament and the Israel presently. Also there is an earthly Jerusalem and a heavenly Jerusalem. Israel and Jews need Jesus Christ for salvation as any other nation .

i think these people are the ones that would be saved, those that accept Jesus in their hearts and in their minds. Definitely not all the Jews, but these 2 will be among those that will be saved because of what they do, spreading love and the name of Jesus.
That comment was putting all Christian’s as being bad. I am a Messianic Jew and I attend a Pentecostal Church. Our church supports Israel. We are commanded to tell the good news of Yeshua to the Jew first and then the Gentile!

Thank you guys, I am not a Jew but a gentile and believer in Christ Jesus. Sometimes I feel like crying when I see Jews who don't want to hear anything about Jesus after all the fulfilled prophesies of the old testament about Him, it really shocks me to the core.
"He came to His own, but His own did not receive Him." (John.1:11)
vs 11 serves as a warning when you learn of Israel's history subsequent to their rejection of Jesus.
Like many Christian denominations , they that are not secular, they listen to priests or pastors ! They do not read scripture, study scripture, or search in prayer for answers.
He did not fulfill a single thing.

Both Old and New Testament tell us that the day of the Lord is a day of darkness not light. It's a day of the wrath of God Almighty, not peace. It's a day described in the books of Isaiah, Joel, Ezekiel, Jeremiah, Amos, Obadiah, Zephaniah, Malachi, Zechariah, Paul, Peter, John... they all tell us that the day of the Lord is not a day of peace. Have you read the events in the book of Revelation? Do they look peaceful to you? These events in Revelation are also in the Old Testament. If you think that Jesus Christ will come to this world to bring peace then you will fall into the hands of a false Savior, a false Messiah/Christ, the antichrist.

I identify as a Cristian and Christians need to remember that, in accepting Yeshua, we are being grafted into the Olive tree that stands before the throne of the Lord.( Zechariah 4: 2-3.) The Olive tree that represents the Jews who have accepted the Messiah. Yeshua Ha Mashiach, and the wild olive tree that represents the Righteous among the Nations, The gentiles that have accepted Yeshua as their Lord and saviour.

Why Jewish people, who are still waiting for Messiah, do not understand that, because of the rejection of the Messiah sent to them 2000 years ago as prophesied and killed Him, Divine punishments described in Leviticus 26:27-39 fell on them, which are still in effect? When they confess their sins and repent as stated in Lev 26:40, God will remember the covenant with Jacob, and will forgive them (Lev 26:42-45). Jewish people will repent, convert, and be forgiven by God, during the time of two witnesses in Rev 11:3-12, which is near.
The olive tree represent Israel. Some of the natural branches have been removed due to unbelief, but if they believe, God will graft them in again. The wild Gentile branches can be grafted in, against nature. Gentiles can be adopted. The whole context is Israel, God's promises to Israel. There is no other biblical entity.
There is also no word “Christian” in the Messianic Writings. The use of the Greek word “christos” to represent Messiah/anointed one was confusing to Greek speakers. The Greeks, trying to make sense of this word began calling the followers of Messiah, “chrestians,” thinking they must be followers of some man named Chrestus - a name they were familiar with. This is the conclusion that even Christian biblical scholars have come to. The word found 3 times in the Messianic Writings should be “chrestians.” It was a slur, and not something the followers of Yeshua called themselves. They were talmidim/learners/followers/disciples.

I am learning a lot from you. You may not be "theologians" but have an excellent understanding of the old testament. Much better than gentile Christians. Jesus is very much described in the Old Testament. The Old Testament is the foundation for the New Testament.
I have a similar struggle as you. Jews question your Jewishness because you converted to Christianity. As a Hispanic, I am also questioned for being a Protestant. The arguments are almost the same. In some Hispanic groups I belong to, statements are constantly being said that one has to be Catholic to be a Hispanic. This has caused me grief in my own family.
Stay strong, cling to the truth, pray for those in darkness and check out Messianic Judaism, it is the faith of Yeshua and the disciples.

God miraculously saves a murdering pharisee to be the Apostle of the gentiles. A parenthetical dispensation of Grace begins with Paul. God interrupts the Prophetic, prophesied promises to Israel. When this current age of grace ends(No one knows) God will resume His favored, exclusive, spiritual, relationship with the nation of Israel.

Acts 15:11 where James admits that "we must be saved as they are". For this to happen, the descendents of Abraham have to "BELIEVE" themselves. The Abrahamic, Davidic and New Covenants are predicated on the faith of the nation. Historically speaking God always told Israel's government, your enemies would be their footstool, if they walked in His statues and Commandments. The nation had stability during the 120 years of King Saul, King David, King Solomon. They had all the land geographically. That included the Westbank, Gaza, Golan heights, half of Syria, part of Western Jordan. After the death of King Solomon, his evil son King Rehoboam comes to the throne. Ten tribes break away from two tribes (Judah, Levi) as you probably know. God's judgement fell on the Northern kingdom of Israel. The Assyrian empire wipe out the Northern kingdom of Israel, they exiled the Jews out of their land. They bring enemies of Israel to occupy the land. Ultimately God's judgement will fall on Judah between 606BC and 580BC. Nebuchadnezzar and the Babylonians(ancient iraq) sack Jerusalem. The times of the gentiles politically begins. The Medes and Persians empire conquer the Babylonians. King Cyrus the great loves the Jews, he's the only gentile leader in history, called the annoited of the Lord. He permits the Jews to return to their land and rebuild the great temple. Alexander the great conquered the Persians. The Romans conquer the Greeks. When the Lord Jesus Christ shows up on the scene. King Harod and those who sat in Moses seat reject him. They reject him as King, Messiah, and the literal Davidic kingdom on earth. Israel had a bad habbit of persecuting and murdering their own prophets. They made no exception with Jesus Christ. After His death, burial, and resurrection(500 witnesses) he leaves. In the early chapters of the book of Acts. Peter was the leader of the early Jewish kingdom church(little flock) they were living, "all things in common" Peter offers the literal Davidic kingdom to Israel's government. He reminds them, Christ has forgiven them for taking wicked hands that crucified the Lord Jesus Christ. He preached about the "Last days" they were in, from Joel's prophecy. He reminds them, the patriarchs of the past looked forward to the last days they were in. A few believed. However most rejected Peter's sermon. God's sends one last prophet to Israel. In Acts chapter (7) Stephen gives the government of Israel a history lesson of how evil their forefathers were in the wilderness, that withstood Moses. "Stiffnecked" and "Uncircumcised" of Heart". Israel will murder the prophet Stephen and blasphemy the Holy Spirit. God forgave the nation for murdering His Son (Christ prayed it on the cross) He did not forgive them for murdering Stephen(even though he prayed for their forgiveness) God miraculously saves a murdering pharisee to be the Apostle of the gentiles. Israel will temporarily lose their favored, exclusive, spiritual, relationship with the God. A parenthetical dispensation of Grace begins with Paul. According to the Prophetic, prophesied promises to Israel. All gentile salvation goes through a born again Israel. The opposite of that is Paul's message today. Through the "fall" of Israel spiritually salvation goes to Jews and Gentiles equally. Read carefully Galatians chapters 1&2 Romans chapter (11) When this current age of grace ends? (No one knows) When it does end, God will resume His favored, exclusive, spiritual, relationship with Israel, in Ages to come, The Fullness of Times.

Because the Jews are God's Chosen People, as a gentile Christian, I adore and love Jewish people. My heart REJOICES when I hear Jewish testimony of his/her salvation. First off, as a Gentile, born into a Roman Catholic family, it was common to disparage the Jew as a shyster, or deceitful, and never to be trusted. Then, when I heard about Jesus, and repented, and accepted him as my Saviour, was baptized in water, and then baptized by God with the Holy Ghost, my disgust with the Jew disappeared. I have a tremendous love for the Jews, all Jews That was 47 years ago. Jesus removes any hatred towards Jews; therefore anyone calling themselves 'Christian" and who hates Jews is religious, and has never been a Christian at all. That person must repent and become a Christian.
Jesus says clearly, in Mathew 7:22-23 KJV, 'Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.'
Not all who say they are Christian are pleasing the Messiah of Israel.
In Luke Chapter 20 Jesus put this question to the Pharisees "Was John sent by God or was he merely acting under his own authority?'. Finally they replied "we don't know'. And Jesus responded "Then I won't answer your question either".

I'm a Messianic Jew, Jewish follower of Jesus, Christian, whatever you want to call me. I'm Jewish through heritage and I believe in Jesus, doesn't matter what you want to call me. I used to think I would have to stop being Jewish if I believed, but that couldn't be further from the truth, I actually think that's one of the lies of the enemy to keep Jews from believing. First, Jesus said "I came to rescue the tribe of Judah." Second, the entire Bible absent maybe Luke, was written by Jews, it's a Jewish book. Third, the original church were all Jewish believers, it wasn't until the gentile church grew when the term Christian came about. In fact, he was never called Jesus Christ, he was called Yeshua Hamashiach. Lastly, Jesus said in Matthew 23:39 speaking to Jews, "For I tell you, you will never see Me again until you say, ‘Baruch ha-ba b’shem Adonai. Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!'"
