Anyone who thinks xv2 is on par with the bt series let alone the newest one is a person who grew up on xenoverse. The bt series is the epitome of dragon ball even fighterz is nothing compared to it

It’s just what happens when Bandai gives these devs barely 2 yrs of dev time meanwhile db games get 4
That’s honestly fair, a a lot of studios try and pump out games too fast when there is no reason to make a whole new game for what is essentially an expansion pack on the last one
Demon Slayer was dope. I just failed with some online aspects and balancing akaza and Susamaru and even enmu in the beginning. Those were the only characters you’d match against which ruined the game. But you can tell CC2 did care about the game. Not like JJK or Connections
I liked the game too, but I couldn’t see any longevity in the game when playing and since the roster was so small at the start, it made the imbalances stick out more and the online feel repetitive

The only Arena fighters I've seen asan Evo event is Kill La Kill If and Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme Vs
For 3D fighters they had Tekken, Virtua fighter and Soul Calibur
I love Budokai Tenkaichi but you'd be surprised the way some fighting game players avoid arena fighters 😭
They avoid them cause they know what time it is when the load up an online match

I feel like they aren't going to start putting SZ money and time into other arana fighters after it so it's not really saving anything but itself
I'd honestly say Nen impact is more of a savior because if it does well they might start trying more 2d fighting/traditional
From what I've seen from Nen Impact a lot more people cover/care about the game when it's a traditional fighter so I hope we get more with higher quality

game developers dont realise that most fans want to have the most realistic anime battles in a game, tenkaichi series is almost the only game where you can do that thanks to its mechanics but for some reason every single anime game out there looks like another reskin of naruto shippuden 4, its not a game with bad mechanics at all but the tenkaichi series is just so much better in every single aspect

IMO Storm 4 was the last really good one they dropped cause the other two since feel like reskins of the same game and shinobi strikers is cool, but it’s not the same game category as the rest that I’m referring to
